  1. Nope still same behavior. When I start the docker it erases settings.conf with a blank file without the key
  2. I removed the docker and image and data, reinstalled, and now I don't even have a settings.conf file. It worked and just threw the "this is a 30 day trial" warning. So I suppose this just needs removed and redone every 30 days then?
  3. the license key seems to fail to work now. Every time I start this docker, it replaces settings.conf with a blank file with no key, then when the UI loads it says the license is expired. I also checked and both the settings.conf and screen.conf modify times match the time the docker starts. Is it stuck this way or am I doing something wrong?
  4. Thanks very much this worked. Also, should I change couchpotato's /download container mapping to the same? /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd/config/Downloads/ ?
  5. I just moved from Needo's docker to this one, and I cannot seem to get the container mapping and SAB's folders settings correct and I have been at it for hours. What I am trying to accomplish is to get SAB to use /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd/config/Downloads/complete/ and /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd/config/Downloads/incomplete. The way I have them mapped now, the files are at least going to the places that I want them. However, Sonarr is complaining it cannot find the path so I believe I have the incorrect dir names under SAB's complete and incomplete settings. Attached is a picture of my mappings, can someone please tell me what I should have for complete and incomplete settings within SAB's settings? Thanks so much, this is just different than Needo's and it's been frustrating me for hours. The second picture is where I think my problem lies, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Hit "Advanced View" at the top right, and remove the "extra parameters" line referencing the optical drive like the attached picture. I believe I made the same mistake and it's in this forum post a few pages back. I think that most people use this for use with an optical drive so the author included those parameters. I just use them for ISO and BDMV index files, so my container also failed in this same way as I don't have an optical drive.
  7. I had the same issue as I don't have an optical drive. If this is also your problem remove the /dev/sr0 line from the advanced options. Hope that helps!
  8. I have setup the config folder to be /mnt/cache/appdata/makemkv and /unRAID to be /mnt/cache/appdata/makemkv/output and like I said this always worked very well before. The ISOs I've been trying recently I try to strip out everything except the main title, with english audio. I find myself un-highlighting tons and tons of boxes, with all the foreign audio and subs. At some random point it seems to just hang. I'm just trying to figure out what's made this different and why it's hanging on me now.
  9. OK, I kind of assumed that. I'm just using it for BDMV index files and ISO's. Is there a way to see a log that will tell me why it keeps freezing mid conversion on anything I try to convert?
  10. This still freezes on me mid conversion. It never used to do this and always worked perfectly. Is there a way to check the logs to see what the problem is? It starts to rip then just freezes. I try to close the window, then reconnect and it times out.
  11. I do not have any optical drive. I simply have my array of HDDs and an SSD for a cache drive. So you're saying just blank out this line? Why would this docker assume I have some sort of optical drive when I have never had one? Just because I'm curious in future docker installations. EDIT: It worked after blanking out the additional parameters line. I'm just curious why it filled this out like that to begin with when I have no optical drive. Is it just the nature of MakeMKV that many people would use this with the actual disk instead of an ISO of BDMV index file? Or should I always check that when installing a docker? Also, where is my "device list" you mentioned?
  12. where do I change that? I don't see it in any of the configuration settings for the docker? Or rather I see it in advanced view, but shouldn't it auto detect my cache drive? Where do I find where it has now been assigned?
  13. I am having a problem installing this docker. I had it working fine until several days ago, then it started acting funny. It would freeze mid conversion, sometimes it would fail to start when I hit "OK" in the initial guacamole window. Not after removing the docker and image, deleting the directory within appdata I get this: root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name="MakeMKV-RDP" --net="bridge" --privileged="true" -e TZ="America/New_York" -e HOST_OS="unRAID" -e "WIDTH"="1280" -e "HEIGHT"="720" -p 3389:3389/tcp -p 8080:8080/tcp -v "/mnt/cache/appdata/makemkv/output":"/unRaid":rw -v "/mnt/cache/appdata/Makemkv":"/config":rw --device=/dev/sr0:/dev/sr0 tobbenb/makemkv-rdp c6179c985cee8d1f499b2ad94da9812a6a8b0470b4f97e130e061b930b630401 docker: Error response from daemon: error gathering device information while adding custom device "/dev/sr0": lstat /dev/sr0: no such file or directory. The command failed. Any help would he greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
  14. Seems completely fine so far installing this over top of needo's. All my settings and movies seem to be there, simply needed to change the /config folder in advanced settings to match my old one, which was /mnt/cache/appdata/couhpotato.
  15. Can this be installed on top of Needo's docker? I currently have his, but you guys do such a good job with these dockers I'd like to switch, I just don't want to lose all of my settings etc. Thanks for any help in advance :-)
  16. I use mythtv as a KVM and there is a channel I have added in plex that allows "almost" live streaming. It allows you to watch anything recorded. So long as you start a recording you can begin streaming it right away so you're only maybe a minute or two behind real time. This is the one limitation with Plex's DVR that I'm sure they'll eventually get to work, but was a "dealbreaker" for me. The only other limitation of the built in Plex DVR is that it only works with one device (2 or 3 tuners) while Myth can tune as many as you have I believe. It's still pretty rough around the edges but works for the most part. This is with 2x HDHomerun Prime's and Cablecards. I've used it in a pinch to watch an NFL game remotely and it was perfect, but I had to VPN into my home LAN, and use Myth's webUI to start the recording first. I don't know of a way to get a guide or start or stop a tuner through plex, yet. It's also free, and doesn't require either plexpass or a 30$ kickstarter contribution. Here is a link to the plugin if anyone is interested. I can confirm this works with both windows and the android app. https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/86644/rel-mythtv-plug-in/p18
  17. I'm having an issue trying to empty one disk to another disk. I have a disk1 which has only a few things on it. The mover has been run, so they aren't symlinks. I am trying to empty disk1 so I cna reformat it to xfs. There are currently only a few tv shows on it. When I try to highlight the media share (where all the files are on disk1) and use another disk with plenty of room in it, I get an error saying the process was interrupted, see log files. What am I doing wrong? syslog.txt
  18. Just as a response to anyone who may be wondering for the future, this plugin does indeed detect a drive swapped to another SATA port by serial number, and rearranging my SATA signal connections caused absolutely no issue with this plugin whatsoever. My system booted totally normally as if nothing was ever changed, albeit the sdX designation changed as with any boot that drives are added or subtracted. But absolutely no issues with case / chassis and SATA signal cable migration at all. The VM I had using this drive showed no change at all and everything went exactly as it should.
  19. I am migrating my unRAID server to a new chassis, with SATA backplanes as per this thread: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=50806.new;topicseen#new and basically will be rearranging my SATA connections. I currently have the Unassigned Devices Plugin managing one out of the array drive which I use for storage for MythTV KVM. The ISO for this VM is stored on this HDD, the VM itself runs from my cache drive, and MythTV stores it's recordings in a share /mnt/disks/mythtv . My question is, during the process of changing around SATA connections, will this affect the drive being managed by Unassigned Devices in any way or does it like unRAID, identify devices by serial# and basically "just work" if this drive is plugged into another SATA port?
  20. An unRAID user friend of mine using unRAID 6.1.9 and the newest version of this plugin reported something to me and I was curious if it was possibly a bug? Being a new unRAID user, he had already tried to create his array without preclearing drives. I advised him to install the script and this plugin, and do the pre-clear. Unbeknownst to me, he had tried to perform a pre-clear on a drive already in an array. After several hours of being stuck at "Starting" from the status screen he checked the log to see the command invoked, and the response from unRAID saying it would not perform the pre-clear as the drive was already in the array. Is there a reason that the plugin itself doesn't try to stop or warn you when trying to pre-clear a currently in the array drive? I definitely appreciate that it stops it from happening as you'd lose all your data, but should there not be a warning letting a user know this is not a preferred method or that the command was not completed instead of it just sticking endlessly at "started" ?
  21. Aha. Thanks very much for pointing me towards an answer instead of assuming everyone runs the same software / plugins / dockers setup! Thanks d00d
  22. How do you mean? I don't understand. What more streamlined way of dealing with dockers are you referring to? I'm using unRAID's UI "docker" tab and am running 6.1.5. Is there something I have missed? If you're referring to something not included in the unRAID OS by default, why do you assume anyone has heard of what you're talking about?
  23. So there is no way to add a line to the repositories and install it in this way with the "Add Container" button any longer? It needs manually installed somehow and not through the UI?
  24. What do I add to the Docker Repositories to get the HTPC Manager plugin now?
  25. I agree with your sentiment. However, why not take it a step further and say every single piece of software made by everyone has to have a little ? next to every option, explaining every function of every button in plain, non-technical speak? There would be nothing but "?" buttons and hovering explanations as far as the eye could see. Not trying to offend only playing devil's advocate. I think it's pretty well assumed that if you've decided to build and administer your own NAS, that you'll also spend some time learning the in's and out's of the system itself. Could some stuff be explained a bit better? Sure. Does every single button need ? with a non-tech explanation as well? I think not... They've gone as far as making a pretty darned conclusive manual for 6. That being said, it doesn't encompass plugins and add-ons but it sure does get into quite a bit of detail. Like Trurl stated, these plugins are user written. So it's at the user's end to decide whether or not they wish to venture outside of the published unRAID OS and add plugins. Plugins that are distributed knowingly without manuals and actual support from unRAID itself. To me this would be like adding a user generated script to SABNZBD and then being less than thrilled when it doesn't do exactly what it's supposed to, then trying to get the SAB authors to clean it up and write documentation for it.
