  1. Just to follow up, I just keep reinstalling every 30 days as I still haven't found a way around this.
  2. There's the settings for the template. I'm sorry I don't quite understand what you mean by changing some settings. What should I change?
  3. Apologies. The only thing even slightly different about my setup is I have no optical drive. The docker installs to /mnt/cache/appdata/makemkv. When I install the docker now, there is no settings.conf file at all, and it gives me the 30 day warning. If I then stop the doctor, create a settings.conf file and add the line with the code in it, then restart the docker the settings.conf file reverts to not having the key. Note the modify time for settings.conf in the 2nd set of terminal windows, and you can see it's been modified as the docker starts and the app key is gone
  4. Nope still same behavior. When I start the docker it erases settings.conf with a blank file without the key
  5. I removed the docker and image and data, reinstalled, and now I don't even have a settings.conf file. It worked and just threw the "this is a 30 day trial" warning. So I suppose this just needs removed and redone every 30 days then?
  6. the license key seems to fail to work now. Every time I start this docker, it replaces settings.conf with a blank file with no key, then when the UI loads it says the license is expired. I also checked and both the settings.conf and screen.conf modify times match the time the docker starts. Is it stuck this way or am I doing something wrong?
  7. Thanks very much this worked. Also, should I change couchpotato's /download container mapping to the same? /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd/config/Downloads/ ?
  8. I just moved from Needo's docker to this one, and I cannot seem to get the container mapping and SAB's folders settings correct and I have been at it for hours. What I am trying to accomplish is to get SAB to use /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd/config/Downloads/complete/ and /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd/config/Downloads/incomplete. The way I have them mapped now, the files are at least going to the places that I want them. However, Sonarr is complaining it cannot find the path so I believe I have the incorrect dir names under SAB's complete and incomplete settings. Attached is a picture of my mappings, can someone please tell me what I should have for complete and incomplete settings within SAB's settings? Thanks so much, this is just different than Needo's and it's been frustrating me for hours. The second picture is where I think my problem lies, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Hit "Advanced View" at the top right, and remove the "extra parameters" line referencing the optical drive like the attached picture. I believe I made the same mistake and it's in this forum post a few pages back. I think that most people use this for use with an optical drive so the author included those parameters. I just use them for ISO and BDMV index files, so my container also failed in this same way as I don't have an optical drive.
  10. I had the same issue as I don't have an optical drive. If this is also your problem remove the /dev/sr0 line from the advanced options. Hope that helps!
  11. I still also have this exact problem. Literally any other program or docker I use I can port forward to just fine from outside my LAN. I have 4040 and 4050 forwarded and cannot connect via IP or DDNS. I've finally purchased a 500GB MicroSD card just so I can have my music with me everywhere I go as I could never get this to work. Everything else is fine. I have a pfsense router in front of this, and have even tried setting up flagging for these ports and see absolutely nothing.
  12. With this new forum system is there possibly a way to change the name of this thread to something more pertinent that may help another user in the future?
  13. Success! After running 6.BAT at the office computer with the correct SAS address the card is now in my unRAID server and working. I did however miss the newer "patch" for the preclear script. The plugin wouldn't load at all, it just spun endlessly waiting for information. After the sed based patch to the original preclear script, the drive is now clearing using the old school method of screen + cli. But the card works. Watching it boot, there is no BIOS screen for this card so it seems as if everything worked as it should. Thanks again all of you so much for all of the help. I wish there was some type of way to confirm this is a legit chipset, because for the $$ this card is great despite the problems I had flashing. These problems were due to my motherboard, not the card itself. Couldn't get into a EFI shell. But it works :-D so I'm thrilled for 50$.
  14. I've heard horror stories like this and I feel like I did take a chance. Do you know the name of the app or any way I can confirm this card? Just for the unRAID community in general if this guy is selling hundreds of knock off cards I'm sure this thread would help someone down the line. Thank you again, very much.
  15. That's a fantastic question. I would assume (maybe I'm totally wrong) that flashing firmware wouldn't work entirely on a knock-off. Maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about. Once this is finished is there some way to test if it is in fact a genuine card and chipset? Like I said earlier I read a whole bunch of this ebay seller's reviews before buying and the only real complaints I could find had to do with things shipping related. Nothing about faulty hardware and he has hundreds of sales rated well. I would myself be interested to see if this is truly what is advertised or if it's a knock-off if it's going to perform differently or give me problems down the line. I'm open to any suggestions and all of you have been exceedingly helpful and I thank you very much for it. This is why I keep referring our NZBGeek members to unRAID. Thanks again
  16. No technically I "rebooted". I couldn't run step 5 on my mobo. So I did steps 1-3, then had to shut down because I couldn't run 5ITP20.BAT. I did reboot on my home computer for step 4 but I couldn't run step 5 as it failed with the PAL error. So I did do a reboot as per the instructions I just couldn't run step 5. I took the flash drive with FreeDOS to my office to perform 5ITP20.BAT and 6.bat. So I did have to powerdown because my mobo wouldn't allow the flashing on top of rebooting as per the instructions. Everything went fine on my home mobo until 5ITP20.BAT. So as long as I'm alright to run 6.bat over again with the correct address I think it will be fine but I will report back. I'm glad that's the case. I got the card for ~ $50 and it does seem new and legit. Even the shipping from China was only 7 days.
  17. I ran the 5ITP20.BAT and it worked on the older motherboard from a different manufacturer, but I forgot to change 6.bat's contents before I ran it, and only had limited time on the computer. So the incorrect address was written to the card. I will be going up there again in the morning to try 6.BAT from the Toolset_PercH310 to LSI9211_P20.00.07.00\H310_to_LSI directory. I have since corrected 6.BAT and will try it again since it had the wrong SAS address in there (whatever one was already in the file). That is correct yes? I should be able to just run 6.BAT again without having to repeat any other steps correct? I will report back when it's finished.
  18. I know I'm an idiot, but I went to my office and found an older motherboard, ran the batch file and it worked, and like a dummy, I didn't replace the correct address in the 6.bat file and ran it and it wrote the wrong address to the card. I've corrected 6.bat. Do I have to just run 6.bat again or start from the top?
  19. I think I'll wait for Fireball to weigh back in as he seems to be the expert for sure. I'm familiar with a linux shell, DOS, not EFI. I really don't want to brick this card so I think maybe I'm going to try someone with an older motherboard and see if I can just finish the rest of the steps that way...
  20. Thanks very much! Well I already have this card and am more than half way there. So I downloaded this link: https://app.box.com/s/ytc4uv333ls8ey8vjft0a1872z300swt and simply place those files on the root of my FreeDOS USB, boot from it, then type: megarec -writesbr 0 sbrempty.bin megarec -cleanflash 0 reboot, then type: sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin -b mptsas2.rom sas2flsh -o -sasadd 500605b0xxxxxxxx (replace the xx's with the SAS address from your card) And that's it? I've already completed up to 3.bat from Fireball13's P20 firmware recommendation the H310 toolset http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=12767.msg259006#msg259006. I can simply follow the above steps and it will work even though I've already gone this far? I don't want to brick this card. Thanks again for the help.
  21. I found this: http://digitalcardboard.com/blog/2014/07/09/flashing-it-firmware-to-the-lsi-sas-9211-8i-hba-2014-efi-recipe/ and I can find the file which I put on the root of the USB called shellx64.efi but I cannot find sas2flash.efi anywhere.
  22. Yes, I see it's been discussed thoroughly but that doesn't help me figure out what to do. Admittedly this is over my head and if someone could just point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. It shouldn't need "persistence" there should be some definitive how to for people with this card that details the steps. I've tried following the post I referenced above but I can't even find the files he's discussing.
  23. So I have the card and everything went fine up until running 5ITP20.BAT. It gives me the error message that it has failed to initialize PAL. What should I do now? I don't have another mobo to try the flash on. Can I finish it in unRAID? I've seen here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=25891.0 but I cannot figure out how to do what's being recommended. Can anyone offer a little guidance? I have an Asus Z170M-PLUS motherboard.
  24. I have setup the config folder to be /mnt/cache/appdata/makemkv and /unRAID to be /mnt/cache/appdata/makemkv/output and like I said this always worked very well before. The ISOs I've been trying recently I try to strip out everything except the main title, with english audio. I find myself un-highlighting tons and tons of boxes, with all the foreign audio and subs. At some random point it seems to just hang. I'm just trying to figure out what's made this different and why it's hanging on me now.
  25. OK, I kind of assumed that. I'm just using it for BDMV index files and ISO's. Is there a way to see a log that will tell me why it keeps freezing mid conversion on anything I try to convert?
