  1. Out of curiosity, has anyone upgraded to Beta21 from 6.1.9 ? Just curious how the process went for you, trying to get a feel if some of the subsequent betas have smoothed this over or not. Thanks.
  2. Wanted to thank you for making the changes. Seems to be working well, will need to mess with it a bit more, but so far so good. Thanks again.
  3. Instructions are on the docker hub page: https://hub.docker.com/r/aptalca/zoneminder-1.29/ You probably need to change the path_zms that is listed under important I'm making some progress, in the prior docker 1.28.1, the events were stored in the config path under /appdata/zoneminder/data/zoneminder/events, separate from the container, in this version, I'm not so sure that is the case. I've recorded several events, but the /appdata/zoneminderv129/data/events folder is empty. So it seemed by default, the old version stored events in the config path, but 1.29 does not. I see that I can change the path for events, I assume /config/data/events may work ? Appreciate your help.
  4. Is ffmpeg included in 1.29 ? Is the path the same as 1.28.1 (/usr/bin/avconv) ? PATH_CAMBOZOLA Web path to (optional) cambozola java streaming client (?) Should I just use the default here ? cambozola.jar ? or /usr/share/zoneminder/www/cambozola.jar ? Can't seem to be able to get my remote IP CAM to display anything in 1.29, basically using the same settings as 1.28.1. Thanks.
  5. Got it, sorry .. Should have looked deeper than version #'s, and possibly even tried it. Appreciate your hard work. Any luck with moving to 10.1? I upgraded Kodi to Jarvis (16.0) and it keeps crushing. I checked Kodi forums and it says that MariaDB users should upgrade to 10.1.12. Please help! let's get one thing straight, this docker was never vulnerable to the 10.1 issues, because it was migrated straight from 10.0 branch to a 10.1 version later than the afflicted version. again, 10.1 versions prior to 10.1.12 were affected by a null table bug, hence mariadb 10.1 branch for kodi 16.1 requiring 10.1.12 and above. 10.0 is unaffected and still works. but this docker now has mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.1.12-MariaDB, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 5.2
  6. I'm entirely sure what you are referring to, but it appears Kodi (OpenElec in my case) is requiring MariaDB 10.1.12 as stated here. I haven't actually tried this docker yet, any feedback is appreciated. http://openelec.tv/forum/120-news-announcements/80664-beta-openelec-7-0-beta-1-released?start=15 Any luck with moving to 10.1? 7. Glad I haven't tried to upgrade Kodi yet, I noticed the requirment. I'm still using Needo's old MariaDB docker, and was planning on migrating my databases to this docker with HeidiSQL before upgrading Kodi. I suppose I will hold off until it's updated to 10.1.12. 8. Thank you, looking forward to this one as well ... Still working on it
  9. Trying to get Moviegrabber working with Apache Reverse Proxy. not having alot of success, I do have others working (NZBGet, Sonarr, NZBHydra etc..) Is it possible to set the URL BASE somewhere in MovieGrabber ? Any other tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
  10. Love Moviegrabber, not sure what all the alternatives are, but I definitely don't like CouchPotato. Just a vote of confidence The lesson here is check for messages on the boards before you do any updates. The download programs are back up but have not worked on plex yet, will get it sorted. I used to post on the SABnzb boards as a long time user of Moviegrabber, still think it is the best and glad to have it back up and running after upgrading to 6+ version of Unraid. Still think Movegrabber is way better than alternatives. MANY THANKS from a long time user, seldom poster. Greg nice to know i still have a few users of MovieGrabber, im still tinkering with it, need to do a complete overhaul of the webui, add in magnet support etc at some point, when/if i get time :-).
  11. Thanks for the tip, will go H310 route, seems like there are some good resources on flashing, and covering pins (if needed). Thank You.
  12. Are there better options out there ? Current motherboard (ASRock - E3C226D2I) has support for up to 6 drives, would like something that would get give me the ability to add up to 8 more drives over time. Seems like there was some uncertainty over the Marvel based cards based on the threads I read, and that LSI was preferred. I appreciate any feedback, just want to try and get this right the first time. Thanks.
  13. Been reading through all the SATA controller threads and my head is spinning. Would this work out of the box ? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G28M6959&cm_re=avago-_-16-118-114-_-Product
  14. LimeTech ? Is there an official procedure to replace cache drive ?
  15. SSD is much smaller, current WD Red cache drive is 4TB. I'm obviously using nowhere near that much space, the SSD drive will likely be 500GB, which will still be plenty of space for my vm and docker appdata etc.
  16. Did a search and came up with nothing, what is the best way to accomplish this ? Want to replace existing cache drive (WD RED) with an SSD cache drive. I have docker related information on the current cache drive (Appdata etc.). I also have a VM, Windows 7. I assume I need to stop all dockers and VM's, then copy ALL docker and VM related data to disk array. Then ? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
  17. Just to clarify, this DNS tweak only works when the docker is in bridge mode, correct ? Seems to be working for me, only the host based dockers didn't have the Sparklyballs treatment, but Emby & Plex are now working as expected. Good work Eric. Is that the fix Tom mentioned yesterday? it's a fix of sorts, i tried (didn't work) using my pfsense ip instead. (i'd like one place to set dns for the entire network, and not use google dns so much either)
  18. I had some of these symptoms until I told Plex to use a static port. I think be default it uses a random port number and attempts to use UPnP to get out to the Internet and talk to MyPlex, and the UI is confusing because the port is specified but a checkbox needs to be cleared to turn the port randomization off. This would only explain unavailability outside of your LAN, but just my 2 cents. I will make this adjustment, thanks for the tip.
  19. Plex used to be very stable for me, since the last couple of updates, if has been very unstable. I even tried a fresh Docker install and essentially started over, and it's still seems strange. My Plex server seems to disappear from time to time, and magically reappears. Seems to freeze up also. Has anyone else noticed anything odd in the last couple dockers updates ?
  20. Can you add lame and libmp3lame0 packages to the the LMS docker template ? I stream music to my phone via iPeng, I noticed there was an update to LMS, I assume I may need to re-install these packages after updating. I appreciate your consideration. JB
  21. Thank you, I was able to add LAME, appears to survive start/stop no problem. I don't think it's a huge issue to re-install if the package is updated. Maybe in the future LAME can be added to the initial build package. Thanks again for your help.
  22. What is the preferred method to connect to an existing container to make some changes, more specifically I want to add LAME to my LMS Docker container. I believe there is a way to connect to a container via the docker command from the shell, has this been covered in a previous thread ? Thanks.
  23. Template updated, thanks! Would it be possible to add LAME to the LMS Docker ? This would be useful for streaming over the internet. Some info is here. http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/LAME_for_transcoding http://blog.kollerie.com/2010/02/25/logitech_squeezebox_on-the-fly_transcoding_apple_lossless_to_mp3/ Thanks.
