  1. I'm trying to use this 4 port SATA card with my server but so far i haven't had much luck. 1. I currently have two drives connected to the controller, they appear in the cards BIOS and are on a JBOD array. 2. The card shows up in Unraid, however the disks do not. Has anyone used this card successfully? Am i overlooking something here?
  2. Ok. So this may be something that clears up once the code matures a bit. Strange that i had no problems on hardware A but get this on hardware B. I have no reason for running unRAID 6 other than it being the "latest and greatest". Should i revert to version 5? Can i downgrade without any major problems?
  3. Hi everyone Been running Unraid 6 for about a year now on temporary hardware, a small shuttle box with a couple of disks. This was mainly for evaluation purposes. Now, after a physical move, i've moved my disks and USB key to it's permanent home. The system is a rack mounted box with the following hardware - Q6600 - Abit AB9 - 2 WD RED 4TB The system performed flawlessly on the shuttle hardware so i expected no problems on the current box, this however was wishful thinking. I'm experiencing total freezing or lock ups of the system after a power on time from 5 minutes to 5 days. I can find no correlation to any environmental factors. Since moving to the new system and experiencing these problems I have: - Removed a connected but unused rocketraid card from the system. - ran chkdsk on the usb key - switched to a new usb key and the latest version of Unraid 6 beta as of sat. 6.12.2014 (currently running unregistered as the evaluation period was to decide whether to buy a license or not, definetly going to as i have multiple TB waiting to be inserted into my box) - Run memtest (passed) i tailed the syslog from a restart and until the system locked up. -> http://pastebin.com/n6qUuVEi I'm not qualified to decrypt the contents of the syslog but it does mention something having to do with the CPU, is it possibly faulty. The box used to run a PIV processor, i should have it somewhere for testing. Ideas? What's my next course of action. KG
