  1. I am very excited for Ryzen. Likely will build my next desktop on the platform. I want to see what Intel does with pricing ... but almost out of spite I want to build another AMD.
  2. Depending on the theme you are using some of these items are "additional features" provided by the theme (e.g. adjustable content width). The other stuff you can edit (somewhat) by adding overriding CSS to custom.css in the theme editor. The block editor that the Mods are seeing are a permissions issue
  3. Yup - sounds like it. Part of the fun when you migrate forum software Original thread is here:
  4. @jonp I am curious what you guys are using for email relaying. Is this an infrequent occurrence or something you have run into before?
  5. I got fed up with things not working and decided to try Plex a couple of years back. They have made steady improvements and "it just works". I use vanilla Plex server + clients. Currently running the Lime Tech Plex Docker, but thinking I may jump over to the official Docker provided by Plex.
  6. Admin had previously mentioned (elsewhere) that the current email relay has rate limited the outgoing email. That is what is believed to be causing the backlog and should only be temporary until the backlog flushes and messages return to normal.
  7. IPSFocus has excellent themes and Ehren provides incredible support. I have used several of his themes over the years. FWIW, I don't mind this one!
  8. Hello, I am sure I have seen this request before, but I cannot find it now. Apologies if it is a repeat. I would like to (somehow) be able to add and swap drives in the array without stopping it. Recognizing that the correct hot swap capable hardware would be required, is there some way that unRAID can allow for a drive to be swapped from or added to the array without stopping the array and thereby stopping all VMs, Dockers, etc. on the server? Perhaps there could be a GUI option to mark a drive for swap - the array could see it as a "failed" drive and stop attempting to write to it, keeping the data in memory or writing to parity, and then when the new drive is swapped in rebuild the parity onto it. For adding a new drive, perhaps some sort of "add to array" option could be added next to or in a screen for the new disk. I wouldn't want any new disk plugged into automatically become part of the array, but once the disk is precleared and formatted, it would be great to add it without taking everything down. Thoughts?
  9. FYI, I just completed this very mod in my Three Hundred (v1) case. The front mesh and filter are easily removed with a few screws and then it just pops out leaving you with open access to the lower 2/3 of the case. Unfortunately the inner structure of the case narrows down below the top 5.25" bay to accommodate the 3.5" bays. You can easily remove the inner 3.5" structure by drilling out or knocking off the rivets with a cold chisel, but you will then need to cut off about 1/2" of case structure on the right and 1/4" on the left to open up the lower 2/3 to accept the 5.25" cages. I was hoping that I could leave the left side 3.5" structure in place and use it to bolt the 5.25" cage to, but it actually "kicks in" towards the centre of the case and needs to be knocked out (rivets). I cut the 3.5" tabs off of this piece of metal and relocated it further out by about 1/6" so that the "kick in" lines up with the new 5.25" opening. You can re-attach it to the bottom of the case and existing upper 5.25" structure with new rivets, screws, epoxy, etc. (but make sure it is low profile as there is NO clearance between the cages). Finally you need to drill some new mounting holes for the new 5.25" cages. Measure twice, drill once (ask me why I know that ...). Mount the cages in (make sure to account for the "Antec" plastic lip at the bottom of the front panel - cages cannot sit flat on bottom of case) and button 'er all back up. I'll see if I can grab some pics of my handy work tonight.
  10. Congratulations and thank you! IP Board is a great forum software; I am a long time user and administrator. I had an issue where my old username ("Autumn Walker") was converted to "autumnwalker" and therefore was not allowing me to login. A password reset cleared that up for me.
  11. I've been running unRAID for a few years now ... just had my first drive failure (complete, dead, no warning signs). Currently rebuilding with a new (larger) drive in its place. Thank you Limetech!
  12. Has this been resolved in 6.2.2? Is the issue actually recognized by Lime-Tech?
  13. So start the array with the disk to be precleared so it builds "disk.cfg", stop the array, remove the drive from array, build "new config", then preclear_disk.sh should work?
  14. Trying to setup a "burn box" with a trial copy of unRAID 6.1.3. Set it up and tried to run preclear_disk.sh -l, but I get an error saying it cannot find disk.cfg on line 202. Tried simply running preclear_disk.sh /dev/sdb and got the same error about disk.cfg. Thoughts?
  15. Sorry if this has been answered - I couldn't find anything with search. Is it possible to run pre_clear.sh using a non-unRAID machine (e.g. a Ubuntu box)? My unRAID box is out of SATA ports and I have a failing disk I need to replace.
  16. Any update on the update? I love the concept, but since the engine updated to 4.3 I cannot connect via this desktop (still at v4.2).
  17. Docker support? Did not see that coming. Nice work guys!
  18. Curious about the ETA for unRAID 6.0 final. I'm eagerly awaiting upgrading my 5.0.5 box to the final version of 6.0 so I can decommission my VMware box. Any planned date for release?
  19. I might have missed this somewhere, but do we have an ETA for 6.0 FINAL?
  20. I'm holding out for 5.0.6 with the new GUI. Any update on progress / release date?
  21. Mine runs 24/7/365. It's on a battery backup and only goes down for hardware maintenance.
  22. FWIW, here is a good article on hard drive failure rates from BackBlaze. http://blog.backblaze.com/2014/01/21/what-hard-drive-should-i-buy/
