    Update: Finally figured it out. I had to log into the original and modify netplan and replaced the old nic name with the new one generated ny UR

    Installed Windows 11 using the official Microsoft ISO again. So far, the VM is behaving very well and is quite responsive.

    Thank you @JorgeB Makes sense as the parity sync staus appeared permanently stuck at 69.1% for what seemed like an eternity. I eventually stopped the sync and powered down the PC. Obviously, the bad drive must go.

    Thank you for your response. The Adaptec controller is in HBA mode. This is set via the array config utility (Ctrl-A). Which is one of the main reasons that I chose it.
