  1. If you sure that the disk was empty, you can make a new config, from settings menu (remember your disk assignment) Then reassign all the disk again... with the new disk, be award of that you get your parity right, otherwise you Will lose data. Run a parity check when your done.
  2. Without reading your syslog, i think you have a hardware problem. Three things you can do: Check memory with memtest. Check your temps. How big is your psu? Its under heavy duty when you preclear.
  3. Sorry, i didn't saw that you used the right app. But nice to hear that you got it working.
  4. Does your org.chameleon.boot.plist file have this string? That should let you log in. <key>PCIRootUID</key> <string>1</string> Se the attachment picture. This is how my org.chameleon.boot.plist looks like. Sorry for the bad picture, had to take it through vnc on my phone. I have this same problem. *.plist file seems to be ignored completely. I have to press enter to select the menu from which the system starts every time. And resolution options set in the file are ignored completely (the screenshot doesn't have any resolution options set because I wan't to make the OS work properly first). Search the net for iOS app TextWrangler. Download and install. Edit the file with that program. Everytime i had problems with the .plist file, it was a wrong "end of line" character.
  5. There is a plugin called openfiles. This will show which files that are open that would prevent your disks from shutdown. https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=42881.0
  6. If your going to passthrough your GPU to a VM, you must be sure that your Intel CPU and motherboard supports VT-d. For Intel CPU look here -> http://ark.intel.com
  7. Hmm, I am not sure. Maybe try setting up a second OS X VM following my steps and see if that solves it? Kind of a pain in the butt but I have never ran into it not working. You might try editing the plist file with a different editor and see if there is weird characters. I ditched my old qcow2 image and made a new one, following your guide. It work flawlessly. Thank for your help.

  10. Hi I have an old OSX ElCapitain qcow2 image, witch i created in proxmox virtualization. I converted it and it now also works in UnRaid. So far so good. But i cant get it to connect to app store, it says that my computer could not be verified. What to do? I tried to boot in recovery mode. so i could disable SIP (System Integrity Protection) so i could edit the serial number, in the spinfo.strings file. But i had no luck with the recovery mode. I also have all the necessary lines in org.chameleon.boot.plist. Please help, thanks.
  11. You have to enable bridge in your UnRaid network settings and then select br0 as your network bridge, under your Windows VM settings. This will give you an ip from your DHCP.
  12. I could definitely use the ability to keep the VM's running, from the cache drive, when the array has been stopped. When you create you'r VM there could be a checkbox, that activates this feature. I know this have been mentioned many times, but have there ever been made a feature request for it.
  13. No, there is no access to the machine whatsoever, after the wol packet is send. It looks like the machine is running, but its not. I switch to unRaid, after running openmediavault for years. I had the same problem with omv, but i manage to get it working after some various tries, but now i can't rember what i did. In my bios i have enabled "power on by pme".
  14. Like others, i have problems restoring after s3 sleep. The server goes to sleep, as it should, but it never really wakes up again. After i send the magic packet, the hdd, fan etc. begins to spin, also the power led lit up. But my network link led, never turns back on. There is no webGUI, no ssh, no active screen on the GFX.... no nothing. The only thing i can do is to do a hard reset, then everything works fine again. I have read a lot of threads, tried a lot of things, but all with no luck. /etc/s3_sleep.conf -C 1 -a -A -m 30 -l -L -e eth0 -F -w g -D 0 ethtool eth0 Supported ports: [ TP ] Supported link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full 100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full 1000baseT/Full Supports auto-negotiation: Yes Advertised link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full 100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full 1000baseT/Full Advertised pause frame use: No Advertised auto-negotiation: Yes Speed: 1000Mb/s Duplex: Full Port: Twisted Pair PHYAD: 0 Transceiver: internal Auto-negotiation: on MDI-X: Unknown Supports Wake-on: pumbg Wake-on: g Current message level: 0x00000033 (51) Link detected: yes my system System Overview unRAID Version: unRAID Server Plus, Version 5.0.5 Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. - E35M1-I Processor: AMD E-350 @ 1.6 GHz Cache: L1-Cache = 128 kB (max. 128 kB) L2-Cache = 1024 kB (max. 1024 kB) Memory: 8192 MB (max. 8 GB) A1_BANK0 = 4096 MB, 1333 MHz A1_BANK1 = No Module Installed, Unknown 4096 MB = 8 GB, A1_BANK0 = Unknown, Network: eth0: 1000Mb/s - Full Duplex I'am running unRaid 5.0.5 32-bit on a 64-bit system.
