Hi, I've got a problem; the error message this plugin gives me disappears (webgui) after a few seconds, making it very hard to use the software. Is there any way to keep the error/warning message on the screen, and only close it if - for example - I click a little X in the top-right corner of it? (or a close button, some kind of user interaction)

Nope, PIA alone - fine. Torrent w/o PIA - fine. Only the two together is the problem. I have tested this out earlier. PIA on, then speedtest and downloading a large-ish file eg from S3. Near-perfect. Pings are still single digit, speed drop is negligible. But thanks for your suggestion.

Yeah I think this is a PIA problem. I'm having the same issue now - and to test it out I've tried the desktop torrent as well as the server torrent. At best I'm getting 30-40KB/s with PIA on. w/o PIA i'm in the MB/s measures. That is an unacceptable speed drop, and PIA support could not help either, they've sent cookie cutter response after response. I'll try another VPN provider, PIA just does not cut it. Hey guys, I've finally got it working - I've purchased PIA after all. Got a question though: How can I migrate my torrents from my win7 PC's deluge to the unraid server's delugeVPN?

Interesting you say that; I did not edit anything off the end. My procedure is stop/delete log/start - and then replace the sensitive info in file and send. Thanks. My netmask is 255.255.255.0, so now the lan_network is 10.0.0.0/24. However, I still can't connect to deluge on the server after restarting it. Here is the current supervisord.log attached, please have a look if you can find any other stupid mistakes. I went through it but to my untrained eye it looks ok. Edit: hm...in my ifconfig this is what I'm getting. Is this normal / correct? I'm running an "Unraid Server Basic" (funny because I've purchased a licence, I'd expect it not to be basic now.) I've not tried that command before as it was pre-fixed with [synology users] - I've tried it now, but >insmod /lib/modules/tun.ko >insmod: ERROR: could not load module /lib/modules/tun.ko: No such file or directory I'll have a looksie at the wiki you've posted, I hope I'll be able to figure out something. Thanks for the tip - I did manage to get the 2nd one out of the way, as it had a bit of 'help' there. But this first one baffles me, even my google-fu has failed. Any chance you can shed some light on this one? Hey gents, I'm wondering if I'm in the right place. I've installed delugeVPN on my unraid server, and I can't get it to work. When I go to the webui, all I'm getting is "Unable to connect". Now I have set it up once w/o vpn capabilities, and it worked, so I'm guessing the problem is somewhere there in the vpn config. I'm trying to use it with an openVPN server of our own that sits in the Amazon cloud. The openVPN server works well with openVpnConnect from win7 desktop. Again, this is pointing to a probable error in the configs. Is there any place where a detailed description for each of the configs exist? The 'help' next to each field in the delugeVPN config is rather frugal in information. Or otherwise, how can one debug what's happening? I feel I'm going around in circles in the dark; it's very frustrating. Please bear in mind I'm rather beginner with this whole thing. Thanks for any help.

Oh, I forgot to update... I've installed Plex, thinking "bigger is better" but as it turns out it's not. I had all sorts of misc problems with it. (eg not refreshing with new files, too complex structure on the ps3...etc) I've gone for the miniDLNA, and it works like a charm (for the simple task of being able to play video files on ps3) - I could not access the photos on the server this way, but I CBF'ed at this point, time is at a premium nowadays So I'm good, thanks

Thanks for the detailed & very helpful advice! I was hoping unRaid is in a more mature state where I can just put a URL into the server's plugin-installer and be done with a few configurations. This all seems a daunting amount of research & learning (even with the pointers), which I've little time for, currently. Thanks nonetheless, I'll probably look into it later. (I've tried to use the plex installer, but it has refused to work in the aforementioned installer location) p.s. I've only got a flash drive, 2 data drives & a parity drive. So the install must go on the flash I guess. Still, as I said it was just giving me some error message - I may have used the wrong download, mind you. It's very hard to find out what's what, and all links to plex's site are basically dead, just giving me the main forum page at best, 404 at worst.

Gents I need help - I'm looking for a plugin with clear install information to use. I've never used a plugin before, so please be gentle. I've the unRaid v6.1.6 paid version, and looking to organise things so I can watch stuff on the telly. I've googled around, but all I found is dead links and outdated instructions & information. I've a ps3 I can use to play the video - the aging Panasonic Viera I got is probably not able to handle anything in any way. But I still have the problem; I can't find a working media player plugin for v6. Please help! Thanks!

I've put a new drive into my little server, so there are two data drives now, whereas previously there was only one. This is how the array looks like: Now, I've tried to modify the old shares to get some onto the second drive, but I can't. Disk2 never shows up in the "included disk(s)". Even on a new share: I'm wondering, should I just live it all alone, and the system will take care of itself? It's still bugging me why I can't control things the way I expect it.

G'day gents, Please bear with me, I'm a complete n00b to unRaid. I've read some setup-tutorial when I've set the server up a little while ago, but I can't recall everything. Searching the manual seems not to give me a definitive answer, either. Forum search turned up nothing. I'm running unRaid 5.0.5 and wondering if anyone can help me with security. Home network, windows & android devices only. I'd like to be able to set some folders up with denied access to certain users. I've 3 users, and I don't want the little one to have even read access to some things. In the "shares" area of the server setup I can click on a share, and under the "SMB Security" section I can see all uses and set the access of each user - however the options are "read" and "read/write" only. I'm baffled how could I actually deny all access, there's no such option. Thanks in advance!
