  1. Received the mini pc this evening. It's got it's quirks already. Couldnt get into the bios no matter what I tried, i planned on re-seating the CPU with mx4 so after that I unplugged/reconnected the mobo battery, this "fixed" the bios key not working lol Doesn't seem to like my usb keyboard connected prior to boot only after booted. I used efi shell to flash the firmware found on pfsense forum which has some intel me removed. Now pfsense usb installer has hung on install. Exactly what I signed up for ?
  2. Ubiquiti airCube AP Qotom Q330G4 Mini PC pfSense firewall
  3. This has been happening very often recently. Looking at the logs when the speed drops off then resumes it seems its because the link goes down and then reconnects. This is reoccurring over and over. DNS issue? Log for binhex-delugevpn.txt
  4. No need to touch the docker container port settings in my experience. Change the incoming port within deluge itself.
  5. Many thanks, its continuing to fault. Everything "looks" OK i will double check everything when powered down.
  6. Hey guys I have put a brand new 8TB in the server for parity this morning. I had re-purposed the old parity as a data drive two days before, so i was running unprotected for that time. I couldn't seem to pre-clear the drive as the pre-clear menu couldn't show the drive information ie: firmware date, model number and such. As i needed to leave the server i stopped the array selected the 8TB for parity and started the sync. Returning to the server 8 hours later all seemed fine, the GUI states the sync will take around 22hours to complete(total). While using the server and checking logs some sort of hard reset has occurred recently? Being a new drive should i be concerned? The parity sync is still underway. If someone has the time to look at my system log i would appreciate that thanks tower-syslog-20171207-1601.zip
  7. That looks fine, you have left some room for other traffic. I have noticed i get maxed line for awhile then that drops off, then resumes as it was. TBH i think its my ISP`s bundled router struggling with heavy encrypted traffic. Then again it could be the tracker being brought to its knees with traffic. pfsense firewall/router upgrade soon. Long overdue. Overkill for my setup but...technology hey lol.
  8. Random outgoing as default, set by binhex. Incoming i set a port i know is forwarded by VPN provider. It has been saturating my line.
  9. I learnt something new today Thank you
  10. LibreELEC 8 Remix Virtual machine with emulation station for lightweight 16bit retro gaming emulation. Passthrough skylake cpu with audio 12metre HDMI 1.4 Could upgrade cpu to kabylake with Intel 630 gpu for HEVC decoding and redo the HDMI cable but thats for the "future"
  11. This is the VPN version. Just select no in the use VPN protocol field.
  12. Yeah my Sabvpn is maxed out, apart from a bit of overhead for vpn. Port 443 TCP. Iam a bit of a noob with torrents & VPN, Iam using external usb3 HDD because Iam mostly seeding atm. If you select single disk as /data path then you will need to configure mover, which is a great unRaid feature I never use lol. I can't help with that especially when sonarr/radarr are added to the mix. Worth a try/test I meant my VPN provider has forwarded a specific port for my account as port forwarding is off by default. I input it in deluge gui incoming port settings. Iam connectable. DL speed was fine without forwarding but UL wasn't connectable. I assume PIA is totally different. Just need to connect with a different server.
  13. Are you downloading to the array? Advice seems to be use a single disk or an external drive mounted by unassigned devices. Have you checked you are using the same ports and is the connection UDP/TCP? my provider states i should use tcp as thats what they have assigned me. I think PIA have specific servers which have port forwarding.
  14. RESOLVE: Cannot resolve host address: aus-melbourne.privateinternetaccess.com:1198 (Name or service not known) Have you tried another server?
  15. Should i be trying to open/forward any ports via my router if iam not connectable with trackers? My VPN provider apparently has port forwarding on all its servers SlickVPN.
  16. Youtube Spaceinvaderones`s video outlining how to setup and use Krusader which can move files around the array. Or like i said you can easily rename the taget directory from within the options tab when adding a new torrent. So instead of data/incomplete it will be data/completed.(no need to move files this way)
  17. rename the folder MAME 0.190 ROMs to the new name MAME 0.191 ROMs Move the whole folder back into the incomplete folder. Remove old torrent (not with data!) Add new torrent. It will check files and resume.
  18. Change the name of the folder with the new release. When the add torrent options box appears before you add a new torrent i click options and where it says data/incomplete i change it to data/completed. ( assuming your dir structure and shares are default) If not move the files back into incomplete then rename the folder with new name. this will check what you have and complete the new release. Best keep this chatter away from Binhex`s DelugeVPN support thread
  19. 1x 8GB HP ECC in N54L. 1x 16GB Micron/Crucial ECC in main socket 1151 server. I wanted to put another identical Crucial stick in the server last week but RAM prices have almost doubled in one year and all the sizes i wanted were out of stock. These DRAM companies are now making huge profits, i will leave the purchase until prices return to "sane" levels
  20. Having dsf/dff support added to miniDLNA docker would be fantastic. I could access my SACD collection(once converted to dsf/dff via Sonore ISO2DSD) from my Marantz slim multichannel amp.
  21. @Two Wire This configuration is working for me, you will see your cpu/memory usage shoot up when initial scan takes place. Include the full path to the dir/share you want scanned in both container path and host path also the minidlna.conf
  22. I used the corsair value 750 psu for 4.5 years in a gaming machine, It whined for a long time then it died. Thankfully corsairs 5year warranty sent me a newer version which i sold and purchased a Seasonic gold modular PSU for desktop. I have a Platinum 660 in the server which has a 7 year warranty, nice. They are both quiet and the cables bundled are fantastic. Reading benchmark reviews they both can handle alot more than stated(not that i would need more) For ATX PSU`s Seasonic are some of the best.
  23. +1 for Yatse android remote If i wanted full 4k hdr output i would run a HDMI 2.0 cable to my tv. and upgrade to kabylake socket 1151 with Intel p630 integrated graphics for passthrough. Or put a gtx 1050 in the server. Seeing as i wouldnt be 4k gaming (60fps min) from the server i would test my current hdmi 1.4 highspeed cable(with ethernet) to see if it could cope with 4k 30fps content(movies) As it stands though i believe windows is the only method for true 4k hdr 10bit output so i would use MPC-HC(recently stopped developement) with madVR + lavfilters Currently happy with skylake p530 intergrated graphics passthrough for 1080p via LibreELEC Virtual Machine.
  24. No problem, now that the vm template saves and is working if you havent already gridrunner has an excellent two part video on Win 10 VM installs worth watching. He highlights everything needed for a successful Win 10 install. Like turning off hibernation and windows search function among others, just in case you may have missed something. Perhaps you have missed a redhat network driver or something. HERE When i first started making vms with this hardware i also had black screen when the vm tried to handoff the video signal, the fix was to make igpu primary gfx video output from bios not auto. This is also paramount when installing a separate gpu. Not realy sure what else i can say about the video other than check cables maybe try other spares. EDIT: i should say that the only successful vm template settings that worked are SEABIOS and i440fx-2.7
