After switching to M1015 controller in it-mode, /bzroot take approx. <1min.

I have searched, but didn't immediately find an answer..... Is there a way to migrate my Unraid 5.06 array settings (i.e. drive assignments) to Unraid 6? Also, any way to migrate Unraid 5 plugins to 6?

Yeah I'm in pass-through mode, not rdm. I sometimes hear the drives spin up upon first access. But UI never shows them as spun down, nor do I see temp fluctuations. I'm running unraid version 5.06 Any ideas?

Running as vm under esxi 5.5 with passed-through m1015 card in it-mode. But I hear the drives spin up on occasion, but the drives never show as spun-down in Unraid UI, nor is the temp readings accurate I think. Any idea how to fix the spin issues and these temp issues in UI?

Here's an update; I verified that my drives are spinning down off my m1015 flashed for it-mode and passed-through on esxi 5.5. However, the unraid web UI does not show them as spun down. I confirmed this by witnessing a very quiet server and when I queried the shares, I heard the drives actually spinning up after a slight delay in response time.

Hey Guy's! I successfully have my unRAID as a VMware 5.5 guest with a IBM M1015 flashed for IT-mode in pass-through mode in ESXi. Everything looks great except for my idle drives are not spinning down... Is there a fix for this?

I thought my unraid UI was going down often, but after much frustration I realized it was Chrome! Firefox and IE work fine when it doesn't load in Chrome. Bizarre

This is excellent progress here and thank you all for the development and testing. My current native unraid build on a supermicro x7sbe MB with an 6 port onboard and a jbod pci 4 port sata2 controller may have to wait for migration to my esxi 5.5, which is ready to go as a bootable off a USB stick, until my VMware supported IBM m1015 8 port sas/sata pci card arrives (only $100 off eBay) so I can do true storage controller pass-through for optimal performance and unraid-to-drive support (i.e. Smart) Although I'm very tempted and impatient to try rdm with my onboard and/or 4 port sata2 card...

I thought I had this same issue using Chrome. But after many powerdown's and frustration I dusted off IE and it loaded fine! Bizarre.

So when I first open the Marachino UI, what IP and target host settings do I use if I don't have a XBox? Can it work with my CouchPotato/SickBeard/Plex plugins? Maraschino is just a front end to the server. You don't need to add anything relating to XBMC if you don't have it. It lets you add CP, SB, HP plugins so you can add movies or shows or music all from one page and if you happen to have XBMC you can set it up so it will let you view the library and see whats playing. Other than that, its not really used for xbmc in any other manor. Dear PhAze, Thank you so much for ALL your generous development and support to the community. You have earned my donation 10x over!

Just replaced some of my smaller disparate drives with 4tb wd green 5400's. Seem to be fine fine so far. Parity check my be a bit slower though.

Check /boot/config/plugins/Marachino/ folder and see if there is a file called Maraschino-PhAzE-xxxxxxx-src.tar.gz and if so, delete it and any .md5 file that's named the same. Try again after. I just loaded it up without any problem so the plugin seems to be working ok. Usually you will see that if the git clone fails. I have no folder under that path named Marachino. Sorry in advance if this was already asked elsewhere... When I attempt to install maraschino.plg from this thread, the script returns and error 'unable to locate install file..' Any ideas?

Is 40c still the ideal threshold?

Unraid is a turnkey storage and PMR that can run plex and complementing plug-ins.
