that worked even for the cache drives, thanks for all your help!

well it rebuilt the data, any idea why i cannot see most of the folders/shares ?

Hi - for the replacing a drive i had the too many drives missing or wrong message so i had to perform the new config, disk 12 was replaced and it formatted it and rebuilt on the data on the parity check etc.. the cache drive pools are seen in unraid, windows wont see them or some of my other shared folders etc.. see the screen shots of missing folder/shares - IE - 10_TB_HD_...BACKUP, 11-22-2019, 500g, ETC

Hello, Cannot see all of my shares on Windows after replacing a failing disk, after following the instructions for replacing a drive and using the new config feature, the new drive was rebuilt sucessfull and i can see all shares on unraid and on krusader but not on windows 11 , on Windows 11 it shows shares but not all off them plus the cache drives are missing. I have rebooted the win 11 - 3 times now. I upgraded from 6.12.6 to 6.12.8 this morning and then rebooted and also the win 11 pc, still shows all shares on unraid but not on win 11 pc, I tried compute all on the share screen with no sucess. I searched the help topics before posting this and I am thinking this must be an easy fix? I have attached the diagnostic log. thanks tower-diagnostics-20240306-0503.zip

Just upgraded to 6.12.1 and now cannot acces shares from windows 11... hmm

Wow that's impressive, I won't be transferring too SSD but to 6gbs Satas, and it should still be hopefully double the 110mbs or more than I am getting now? I believe you don't have to use a 10gbe cable I thought i read somewhere a good Cat5e or Cat6e works between the cards?, I have to zoom in better but are the connectors on the cards SAS or ethernet ? Yes I believe I saw one of those videos, Im trying to wrap my brain around windows configuring and also unraid as far as gigabit ethernet for the web and home network vs the 10 gigabit connection does it set up a private Network? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

The system diagnostics will tell the story as to what's actually going on Not at home right now, I should be able to get a sys log while running parity right?

Frys has a good deal on these right now, I know that removing the drive voids warranty, is anyone using these drives in their unraid system? Also pretty easy to get the case open? I already label the drives I learned that truck along time ago, thanks again for setting me straight this is going to help me upgrade to my new case and power supply...
