  1. This has now been dropped to a Sev 4. :-) I plugged her laptop into the local ethernet and all is good. Still wish I could get to unRAID via wireless W7 machines though...
  2. Thanks for your help! I cleared the relevant credentials. No joy. I can get the login request when I do the following in Windows Explorer: \\192.168.1.115 \\192.168.1.115\TV \\192.168.1.115\Movies But not when I use the server name: \\ServerName\TV But for some reason it will not take my login details (either root or my user name). All shares are public. I thought this meant public on the local network. Should I change them to private or secure as good practice? I can also not see the unRAID server under the network places but can see all the other PCs on the local network (both wired and wireless). I have been trying to fix this for some time - but always give up. But now that my wife wants it, is is now a Sev 1 issue. :-)
  3. Diagnostic Logs Attached...User shares are there an working. They show up fine on "Ethernet Connected" devices as well as Android and iOS devices. But I cannot access them from Windows 7 devices via wireless. I did solve the one folder issue (it was a permission issue). So now I am trying to figure out why I cannot see unRAID in my wireless W7 devices. zack_unraid-diagnostics-20160315-1619.zip
  4. Thanks! @itimpi - that was it. Really appreciate it. I was a bit freaked. :-) @trurl - I will post a diagnostics log shortly - Thanks!
  5. Really weird situation and I am sure it is "pilot error" of some kind. Some background.... Like many folks, I have multiple user shares setup for things like Movies, TV, Photos, etc. I also have a share I call "User Data" with individual folders for family members. Kind of like a local "Dropbox". My wife was trying to access her folder under "User Shares" from her Windows 7 laptop and could not. I then tried to access it as well from my Win7 laptop and was not able to. I can access unRAID via the web interface and can also access it via ftp and by Explorer (by typing in \\192.169.xxx.xxx my server IP (but while I get a prompt for user name and password, the correct credentials do not work). I can see the various user drives to desktop PCs that are on the physical Ethernet. And my android and Apple phones and tablet can see the user shares. But even these cannot see the one share called "User Data". In trying to debug this, I went to the my web interface and looked under "Shares". There are no user shares listed! I have no idea why this would be? All my dockers (Sonar, Plex, Couchpotato are working fine). See attached image. As an experiment, I went an added a few new shares (DMZ and DMZ2). They added fine and the Ethernet connect devices and Android/Apple devices see it fine. But it is not being listed in the Web Interface. I am totally puzzled. Questions: 1) Any idea why my user shares are no longer listed in the web interface? Any ideas on what I should do about this? I am assuming this is not a good thing. 2) At some point, I would like to come back t the original issue and figure out why user shares are not viable on Windows 7 devices that are on my wireless network (but Ethernet and ios/android devices can see them). Thanks!
  6. I am having two issues: (1) When I configure the docker to use "host" (versus bridge) I cannot access the tool via the Web GUI. It works fine when using "bridge" but in reading the instructions, this is not correct. Screen shot attached. (2) When trying to change the admin password via the instructions at the docker hub("docker exec -it openvpnas passwd admin ") I get "Error response from daemon: no such id: openvpnas Any ideas would be most appreciated - Thanks!
  7. Any ideas why the web GUI does not work with Firefox browser (43.0.2)? Works fine with Chrome (47.0.2526.106 ) , IE (11.0.9600.18124)), Opera (34.0)? Not a big deal - just wondering. Love the program by the way - Thanks!
  8. @ljm42 - Many, Many thanks! Your fix sorted this out for me. There is some good karma coming your way - Thanks! DZ
  9. I am currently traveling but am getting the same error messages. This just started happening after updating several plugins and dockers (including unRAID Server OS (6.1.3)). I am getting emails that say: "Docker image disk utilization of 70%" Then a few minute later I get an email that says: "Docker image disk utilization returned to normal level" I called home and it may be linked to my son watching movies via Plex? I am running: linuxserver/couchpotato linuxserver/nzbget linuxserver/plex linuxserver/sonarr gfjardim/crashplan gfjardim/dropbox sparklyballs/krusader These dockers installed but not running: linuxserver/headphones gfjardim/crashplan-desktop In my situation the docker size drops back down. I am happy to provide any information if it will help debug this issue if people think it is related. Thanks! DZ
  10. It is cool that it seems easy enough to add these back. Still having some weirdness. Anyone ever see anything like the attached? Note the names :-)
  11. OK. I deleted my image docker.img and bumped the size from 10GB to 20GB. All is working fine now (Crashplan has been "still around" but acting flaky). Crashplan is fine and it is pretty easy to add my dockers back. But I have to admit, this scares me a bit?
  12. My appdata folder is at /mnt/cache/appdata. And this is cache only. Yesterday I did try to install Mylar. It failed and I was busy so just left it....did not dig deep into it.
  13. I started to add my missing dockers back and now get errors when adding plex. See attached. My big concern is that my Crashplan (which was all done) may now also be corrupt? Really no idea what could have happened - all has been working like a champ.
  14. @trurl - image attached. @itimpi - is this where the docker image is kept? Mine is at /mnt/cache/docker.img
  15. Has anyone ever had dockers disappear? My sonarr docker was "unresponsive" so I rebooted my server. When it was back online, sonarr, CP, krusader, dropbox and plex were no longer installed. Very strange! I guess nothing to be done and I will set them up again? All the data is there...kind of a pain though...
  16. @Squid....pretty funny. :-) @Neil....No worries. I think i am back up and working. @itimpi: Many thanks! OK - I should be good to go. And I learned more. I never understood why Cache files were showing up on user and did not know what user0 was for, Maybe one weekend I will not be working on unRAID? Probably not... ;-)
  17. Thanks both - much appreciated! So when installing dockers, I have been using /mnt/user for things like my TV, Movies, etc. /mnt/user/TV/ Should I be using /mnt/user0? So /mnt/user0/TV? Thanks!
  18. OK - going to /mnt/user0 shows what I would expect. No "cache directories" show up. When I go to /mnt/user, I get cache and user directories. What is the difference or purpose between user and user0? Just curious? Thanks!
  19. No - but looks like it is just a visual file manager? I have Krusader on my setup. I spun my array down. Spun it up and everything seems to being created on both /mnt/cache and /mnt/user. So I have an appdata folder in both as well as my downloads folder. I would think, since I have my share as "cache only" it would only show up under /mnt/cache? Unless the directories under /mnt/user are just a link to /mnt/cache?
  20. Neil - you were right. My download location was not set to cache only. I have now done that. And I moved the app data for NZBGet over to cache as well. I have uninstalled NZBGet but when reinstalled, it still puts directories in both the cache and my user directory? I wonder if I just need to uninstall NZBGet, CP and Sonarr and just reinstall? I am getting good at that. :-)
  21. Thanks folks: @itimpi: I have tried setting my drives to not spin down. But the parity drive seems to spin down anyways? Does it have its own area to stop it spinning down? @CHBMB: How do I check that the nzbdownloads folder is set as cache only in the webui? @Squid: appdata is as follows: NZBBet: /config <--> /mnt/user/appdata/nzbget/ CP: /config <--> /mnt/cache/appdata/couchpotato/ Sonarr: /config <--> /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/ Do I just need to move the NZBGet to the cache as well? ---- The other thing I have noticed is for some reason my "Scripts" directory for NZBGet is always being deleted?
  22. NZBGet, CP and Sonarr all map to /mnt/cache/nzbdownloads/.... It works like a champ during the day or when I am adding things to the queue. It is just when it runs overnight. When I look at it in the morning, I have a ton of those messages and the only thing to do is reboot and loose the queue. The Parity Drive is spinning down - that is the only thing I can see?
  23. I get the following error overnight when running NZBGet: Error reading diskstate: could not open file /downloads/queue/7177 The only way to get things rolling again is a full reboot. I have tried setting it so my drives do not spin down (it does not help) and increasing the time before spin down (again, no joy). I suspect it is because my Parity Drive is being spun down? But I cannot seem to stop the Parity Drive from spinning down. Has anyone else run into this? Thanks!
  24. Hello, I am trying to decide whether to install the Plex Media Server on my unRAID server or my HTPC. unRAID server information is in my sig (below) HTPC is running: i3-4330 @ 3.5 Ghz. 8GB RAM, 64 Bit Windows 7, 120GB SSD House is wired for Cat5E. Any thoughts or advice on the system to use? I prefer to use the unRAID server if it makes sense. Also - is there a preferred / stable version of the Plex Media Server that most folks use for unRAID 6? Thanks!
