I'm using VNC viewer and and getting refused. When i choose default video card it loads. But not when i choose FE for video and sound. Tried to add mos too as in the video shows. Ver 6.8.0rc6

At this time no. Tried to make a few changes. But still not luck. Should i invest in another domain server like namecheap or another?

Wow this has been a two day trail and error. But ty for everyone's input on these forums. Im having a weird issue. I'm about to access the nextcloud thru my domain address, only thru internal Ipwith :444. But when remove the overwritehost => hostname.duckdns.org it starts working again. But just not with the domain.duckdns.org.
I have them all on there own the custom prroxynet. Also i can ping the duckpins.org domain from from my unraid server. Any idea where to start looking to fix the issue.

Yes it the correct Ip. Same one on the settings. Also before when I hit webui it would work. Plus I would assume if it was not the correct one or different the Plex would not run from the docker. At least that what I assume.
It weird everything working except when trying to access it from it from the docker or typing the up!

I have a questions. Everything is working on the Plex. Except when i chose the WebUI it will not open or load the page. It tries to load the IP:32400\web. But it just freezes trying to load and only a white screen shows up and fails. I can only access the Plex setting thru app.plex.tv/ .
What would caused this? I turn off all firewalls just to see if it being blocked. But i just cant seem to figure it out. As they say it not effecting anything but if i didnt have the app.plex access i would not be able to access it at all. But movies play and can be accessed like normal.
Any idea.

Well the folder have the names of the trainer. But inside the folder the files are names 1.Legs_10min.avi, 2.Arms_10min.avi, 3. Cardo_10mins.avi, ect
But i understand what you mean. I need to get a rename program to help organize. To add metadata & Tags to help the search categorize better. Ok i will follow this path.

I read that a while ago. But i think my issue is.. Say i have videos of work outs from different trainers.
Trainer 1 and Trainer 2. But they are in one folder called Workouts. The trainers videos are not being separated as sub-folders as for example a TV series is separated as season 1 and Season 2 and so on. It's being combined as one. With the personal video i don't want to have to make multiple personal shares for each trainer. I hope this makes since.

I did do a search but not sure how to explain without giving a lengthy explanation.
I have allot of training video I want to organize to watch remotely and in house. I use plex. But it does not handle training videos well. Unless I make then like it was a TV series as in EP. Is there any tips or other guide or dockers that I can use to help view these videos easily. I wish Plex had a better way to do this. But just need to be guided in the right direction to get this project completed.

Ok that makes since. But since the other drive are also 2TB i still need to get bigger drives to add more space. The old 2TB parity drive will just be old spare if needed. But i understand. Thank you.

Quick question. My 6 bay drive unpaid system is getting full. I have 2 parity and rest 2 gig drives. All the drives are 2TB. Can i change out 1 parity to maybe a 4TB and add more space. Or do i have to change out both parity drives before adding more space to the the system? For example change out one parity to 4TB parity and leave the other 2 TB and add two more 4TB to the space until i can get the rest.
Also i will have two unread systems. I will be making a VM for the second just for backup reasons. I already have offsite. But just want to have 3rd fail safe. Is Rsync the best option so if i add stuff to sys1 it will update sys2 also. Allot of you have been a great help with keeping my system stable.
One more question. Plex had a cloud system to backup photos but it seem they took it away. They have it being backup to drop box but i cant control what folder of pic to gram on my android phone. It just backup all of the pic. What are others using to auto upload your unraid where you can chose what gallery to backup.

Not sure where to post this. I read that people have created agents to help Plex search content. I'm trying to create one view my training videos. Of course there names are created 01,02, ect (then name of the training session). Most of the agent are built to work if the server is on a pc or mac not Unraid docker. Is there a better way to do this instead of renaming the files to look like TV series or seasons (S01-EP01)? Just need to be pointed in right direction to update the unraid plex server to view these file together as if they were TV series or season to keep it organized.

I just want to say thank you for everyone help in here and input. I spend a day trying to get this to work. Sleep. Ready half the messages and started from scratch and finally got open to connect from my cell phone. Good stuff. My issue was i was behind a VPN and when i kept trying to use bond0 i should of used br0. And not thinking of the VPN i had the wrong IP. But after Dyn setup, OpenVPN setup and phone setup. This project has been completed. Now on to the next. Now to focus on VM and ESX super setup.
But in short thank you for everyone help and Admin and all the guides and input. I know it not easy to repeat yourself 1,000 use bond0 or read the readme or add your logs. lol.

I got it now. Later i will be upgrade my drives to 4TB so i will change out the parity drive then.

For the Mac it taking me a little longer with Time Mach. I had to do the work around with adding the EEID how-to. It just seem really slow transferring. The other mac already have TM drives so im just backing up from them. Until they fail. I'm just backing up this way until i can fix the issue of adding multiple time machine backups to one folder.
So SSD will take the load of the 2 parity and help make them last long with less stress. Im just getting the concept of how parity drives work. But should i get bigger parity drives or get SSD to help with performance in the long run?

My UnRaid box has been working great so far. I’m about to start having my mac computers backup to the UnRaid 3 times a week. I am still researching the part of not backing up files that have not changed. After I get this completed I will create a 2nd system to back up this unraid box.
But my real question. At this time I don’t have any drives that are cached drive. Just 2 Parity drives (2TB 7200). Concerning speed and reliability. Should I update the 2 parity drive to 4TB 7200rpm. Or get a Cache SSD drive? To help with file transfer and backing up the multiple macs in my location.
I have 6 2Tb drive install at this time. 8TB total for backup storage. With the size of the cache drive will 240gig SSD be enough. Or get 2 120gig SSD to make it a pool.
With the Parity I should only upgrade is I have the same size drives for it I upgrade to 4TB drive. I will need to make both my parity drive 4tb first then upgrade. For the SSD I wanted to use my Mercury Accelsior since I have space in my riser board. I assume this would help with streaming movies also when needed.

There could be a plugin already that does this. But is there a feature that will let me monitor all the data that is active or being accessed. So I can see who's accessing what folder and when on the network. And keep track of the bandwidth that being used when there transferring data. Or what files are being accessed.
Are a reel-time log.

Yup your story sounds like mine. But i was stressing because i had all my data on a 2 year old drive. Ya i know they say 3 years. But i had another NAS that failed on me with two drives failing at the same time. I was lucky to get it back. But UnRaid has made this process easy and I'm learning allot in the process. Once i get my 2nd server up. I will have a program backup the important data to another location and maybe this time run Unraid as a ESX just for a backup for the backup. lol
I just have to find a easier way to create Time Machine backups. I though i had it. But I'm trying to get 3 imac to back up in one folder. And it really slow creating time machine backups. I seen the page on here of grabbing the UUID. But do i have to do that for each imac with different UUID. Hope there's a better way soon. Or just mount the external hard drive that attached to the imac. And backup the file from there. Can wait until snapshot is add to unraid also.
Cant wait to see whats next or upgrades are in-store for UnRaid.
