  1. Since last week's update, Plex stopped working. When checking the logs, I see the following error message. Running for several days though, so I doubt it is actually migrating anything. Any thoughts? <Response code="503" title="Maintenance" status="Plex Media Server is currently running database migration."/>
  2. Has anyone succeeded to fix this issue? I am still stuck with 6.11. Updated bios, but still no luck. Appreciate your help!
  3. Unfortunately, same for me. Despite upadting my bios, this is still not working for me. I am still hoping this will be fixed in a future version of Unraid. My mobo - while not the latest - isn't ancient, so would hope the kernel will eventually support it.
  4. Since the latest update, the docker is working for me. This is great! I now would like to let it run automatically, but have not yet been successful. I created a userscript with the content below: #!/bin/bash docker start PlexTraktSync This starts the docker, but it does not run the script (python3 -m plextraktsync). Any idea how to accomplish this?
  5. I had to downgrade to 6.11.5 due to some kernel incompatiblity. Unfortunately, this downgrade seems to have had some issues and the Plex docker stopped working. First, it gave me some error message and then disappeared. I tried to reinstall it using "previously installed dockers", but this is also failing. Error message below and full diagnostic log attached. Thanks for your help!!! Starting plex plex failed to start. You should install it by itself to fix the errors Error response from daemon: No such container: plex Error: failed to start containers: plex Downloading docker icons Docker Application Installation finished tower-diagnostics-20230906-1159.zip
  6. I downloaded the plugin (not docker container). It shows installed as plugin. I have an rclone command that I would like to run once per week. How to best do? Just set up a userscript with the rclone command? Or do I need to do anything with the rclone script directly?
  7. Thinking to upgrade mobo/cpu. 13900k seems a good choice that should hold for a while. How does it work for Unraid and how would you assign the cores (performance), core (others), threads: * Plenty of Dockers including Plex, *arrs, etc. * Gaming VM * Simple VM for browsing Thanks for any thoughts. Also appreciate if you can share alternative suggestions.
  8. I am upgrading my motherboard. Any impact on Unraid or can I just swap my flash drive to the new mobo and all continues to work as is?
  9. I upgraded to 12.0 and also manually to 12.1. Unfortunately, I get into a bootloop, so this does not work for me. Once manually downgrading to 11.5, things work again. I cannot get a diagnostic after upgrade as I only get the bootoop, I also tried a fresh 12.0 install, which also failed. I am attaching the diagnostic log from 11.5 after manual downgrade. Thanks for your help!!! tower-diagnostics-20230627-0042.zip
  10. Identical issue for me simce upgrading. I have two servers. One works and one doesn't. Different mobo, so maybe some incompatibility? How to manually downgrade?
  11. Is anyone using Syncthing in combination with a Windows VM? My WIndows VM keeps to go on "pause/sleep" when using Syncthig in combination with an Unraid Syncthing docker container. If I turn off the docker, this issue does not appear.
  12. Just learnt about syncthing and it is a great tool. Thanks for creating this docker container as well. I am facing one issue: My Windows VM (with syncthing installed) goes to sleep/hybernate shortly after starting. If I disable the docker container on Unraid, this does not happen. Any idea what's going on? Not sure how to troubleshoot either.
  13. I run the Plextraktsync docker container. There seems to be a bug and the developer has asked me to install code from a pull request (https://github.com/Taxel/PlexTraktSync/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md#install-code-from-pull-request). Is this possible for an Unraid docker container and how to do so? Thanks!
  14. I have set up a new container and made some changes to the docker settings. I am facing a permission issue now. When downloading with a specific category (e.g., "movies" to sub-folder "/movies", all works well and all permissions are set correctly. When downloading just to regular download folder, the files are downloaded, but the folder (e.g., from a movie or music album) has wrong permissions. The files inside are fine though. Any idea what could be causing this and what I can provide for troubleshooting? Mapped drive is (unraid docker setting) Container: /data/usenet Host path: /mnt/user/appdata/sabnzbd/usenet Completed downloader folder (in sabnzbd setting) /data/usenet
  15. I am using Unraid and VMs for 10+ years. Things used to work a lot better, but it seems that I did something wrong or something changed. My VM now runs very sluggish... Unraid and my Windows VM is run headless. I connect to the VM via Splashtop Personal. I have assigned 32GB ram and 16 cores (from my 10980XE). My Nvidia 1060t is passthrough with dumped vbios. The harddisk runs on an NVME disk. In other words, this shouldn't be a lack of resources... I remember I had this issue once before, which I addressed by disabling "memory integrity". Now it is still disabled, but for some weird reason, everything is very sluggish. Maybe my GPU is "faulty", but I don't know how I can check this? Maybe some settings is off? I have another Windows VM running, which seems to run faster although I have less resources allocated. But that's a subjective statement, so not sure whether fact-based. Any idea how I can troubleshoot this?
  16. I think the bios/SMART thing is a toallly independent issue. I disabled the check. Whent I boot with usb enclosure attached, I receive the error message ""waiting up to 30 sec for device with label UNRAID - not found". And Unraid doesn't boot up. If I boot with the USB enclosure being disconnected, all works. And I can still use the enclosure after connecting it after boot. It still does not work to boot though with the enclosure connected to usb. Any idea what could be causing this issue?
  17. Thanks for your help. Any thoughts based on the SMART information attached above? I will also pull a diagnostic and post it. Thanks!
  18. I don't know. How can I see this? Is this in the log above? I am not overly worried about disk failure, but it annoys me that I cannot boot up without disabling the SMART feature in bios.
  19. I have three disks with SMART errors. I "acknowledged" one of them, the other two still show errors. All disks pass SMART tests without errors. I am a bit concerned about disk failures, but believe these may actually be false errors. A related issue is that my mobo checks SMART at boot-up and does not allow me to boot (unless I disable the SMART check). I am attaching the smart log here. Any views on the health of the disk? And/or what else I can do to reset the SMART error? Thanks! tower-smart-20230317-1109.zip
  20. I somehow succeeded to boot into Unraid by disconnecting my USB devices (except the Unraid boot usb). The weird thing is that even after disconnecting them, I can only boot if I disable SMART check in bios. So, it seems that my mobo thinks that one of my HD/SSD disks are faulty. I do remember seeing a "error" message before for one of the disks that I "acknowleged" in Unraid. This could be the issue. Not sure what I can do though. I don't think the dailure was real and SMART tests complete without errors. Maybe this acknoledgements isn't visible in my bios, causing such issue?
  21. One more thought: What confuses me is that it actually initially starts to boot UNRAID. Otherwise, it wouldn't even get to this error message?
  22. Thanks. Are you implying that this may be related to the server not starting unless I disable the SMART check in bios? It used to work in this port. Also tried others with same issue. I don't have a Windows PC to try, but I checked on Mac. Disk utility shows no issue. The disk is called UNRAID. What else to try?
  23. Initially I got a boot message saying that my HD/SSD is about to die. I only could start the server after disabling SMART in my bios. This gets me a bit further, but still seeing a new error message now: "waiting up to 30 sec for device with label UNRAID - not found". Assume my Unraid usb is faulty? How to set it up from scratch? Or any other thoughts what could be wrong?
