  1. I have a question in regards a new config. I currently have a 6TB drive on disk 2 which I need to use for another project. I had a smaller driver that I wasnt using so was going to replace disk 2 from a 6TB to a 4TB driver. As we know this will not work as you cant go smaller. So the idea I have is temporarily add the 4TB drive to the array and copy everything from disk 2 to disk 8. So now my question is if I create a new config and start by reducing the drives used by one and then remove the 6TB and assign the 4TB to disk 2 the server shouldnt know any different? Yes? I will point out that I want to assign the 4TB to disk 2 because I have alot of dockers that point to disk 2 and I think this is easier that reconfigure every docker. Regards
  2. That worked perfectly. Thanks very much. When I first tried it I thought I may have gotten the command wrong so I did mkfs.xfs -m crc=1,finobt=1 -f /dev/sdg as that is at the end of the description on that drive. It did it thing ok and didnt give me any errors, obviously it didnt work, however what damage if any would I have done by using sdg instead of the correct command? Regards
  3. Good news is I didn't get any errors this time. So thanks very much for that. The down side is the size used didn't change. 41.9GB for a 8TB drive before and 41.9GB after I followed the instructions.
  4. Thanks very much, I’ll give it a go when I get home. Cheers
  5. Sorry to dig up an old post but does "mkfs.xfs -m crc=1,finobt=1 -f /dev/mdX" still work? I used it once before with no problems but went to use it again with the following command : mkfs.xfs -m crc=1,finobt=1 -f /dev/mdg G being the disk # and it came back with an error Error accessing specified device /dev/mdg. Or should I be using the actual driver number as in /dev/md7. Been a long time since I used this command so I can remember. Regards
  6. Afternoon all, I stupidly pressed "Renew" in management Access, Now its saying " DNS Propagation is PENDING". Its been saying that for a while. Is there something wrong or is this just a sit and wait thing. Was working fine prior to me pressing renew. Regards tower-diagnostics-20220520-1557.zip
  7. Im not sure if this relates to the few posts above me but all of a sudden Radarr is spitting out the attached error. Can someone please provide a little bit of help. Regards New Text Document.txt
  8. I’ll give that a go when I get home. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I noticed that my vm went off line and Pulseway is telling me my unraid server is off line as well. While I am currently not home this is an issue I have had before which ends with me having to do a hard reset which results in a unclean shutdown. SSH isn’t an option due to the system showing as off line. There is nothing wrong with the internet connection as well. Is the a way to shut down the system cleanly from the boot screen? 10. Just a lot of containers. And I probably didn’t make the initial size big enough As I think it’s only 20 gig
  11. Im starting to run low on space in my docker image, and while Im sure it has been covered before I cant seem to find it. How would I go about increasing the size of my docker image? Thanks in advance.
  12. I have added two new drives to my array ( Disk 6 & 7 ). Once the drives have been formatted they seem to have a larger than usual amount of space used up. The drivers are completely empty. Previously when I added a new drive to the array it would take up just over 4GB on a 4TB drive. Is this normal or have I done something wrong?
  13. I ended up digging up my watt meter which told me I use between 300-500w at most under load. So I ended up getting this This UPS Works like a charm using the NUT plugin. Current load is 18%
  14. I am happy to report that sas2flash -o -e 5 worked perfectly. Thanks for the help.
  15. Just one quick question. I had a Dell Perc H310 going back some 6 odd years ago that I started going down the road of flashing to IT but didnt have much luck with it at the time. But I cant remember what stage I got upto in the flashing process. Is it safe to reflash (Basically start again)?
  16. Ill give it a go in the next day or so. Just to be on the safe side I will stick it in my gaming PC so yea will have to use uefi shell.
  17. So if Im reading things correctly I basically need to go through the whole process as if I was going to flash the card to IT. Except I just input the command sas2flash -o -e 5 If thats the case I may need to try and find a sas2flash.efi as The last time I did this some years ago I had issues with the DOS version. Does that sound about right?
  18. I’m going to have to do a little bit of research on how to do that I can’t even remember how I flashed it it’s been many many years since I did it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I should be able to ctrl c and disable it there shouldnt I?
  20. Yes that is the one. Very happy with it. Easy to use. keeps the WD Red Pros nice and cool.
  21. New iOS version looks great. Any way of being able to set dark mode on the app?
  22. And a side note, the system info tab will not show your video card.
  23. Have you checked in tools/system devices to see if it shows up there?
  24. Hi, Im looking at getting a UPS (Better to be safe than sorry) but have no idea what size I should be looking at. I just want something that in case of a blackout will give the system time to power down safely. I have a 1000W PSU at the moment but am looking at upgrading to 1200W at some point. But am not sure what the total load is at peak. Does anyone have any recommendations?
  25. I start by giving you the back story. A while ago I bought 2 LSI cards both exactly the same cards. Flashed the cards but only ended up using 1 card as I didn't have the need for the second card..... until now. So I stuck the card into a spare x8 slot and booted up and got the attached screen. It holts on this and doesnt go past it. I end up having to press the restart button at which point it gets to that point again and shows the same message but allows me to proceed. Anyone have any ideas?
