  1. Well the good news is I finally dug up the post I saw. Came with a image. https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=45670.msg436515#msg436515 Now all I need to find out is what usr/bin is or more to the point where it is.
  2. Very true. NerdPack has unrar which I have installed I just need someone who is using it or knows how to set it up as far as what the directory is and if it needs to be mapped.
  3. You are correct it doesn't download anything however when cp goes to rename the file it has the option to extract before renaming, you will find this in settings/rename. I know someone here is using the feature because I saw a screen shot of it but can't for the life of me find it. One question I need to ask however is if I get deluge to unrar the file will it move it first then unrar or will it unrar first then move it as I have deluge set to move the file once finished. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. You could be correct, I am using Deluge that needs me to install something called a egg. However this is not ideal and would rather let CP do it. Thanks for the info however... gives me a last resort at least.
  5. I have a docker that needs to be able to unrar files (Couchpotatoe). I assume this is something that is going to be needed regardless of what version of the docker I use which is why I havent posted it in the dockers support thread but feel free to move the topic if need be. So far I have worked out that unmenu has unrar and all I need to do is install it from the unmenu gui within unRAID. So I have done that. What I am unclear on is what is the path I use within couchpotatoe itself and does this path need to be added to the volume mapping. (From where to Where) Thanks in advance for your help. Linux noob.
  6. I guess easy answer would be if your using a private tracker you will see the ip address of the torrent your downloading.
  7. I am currently using 16GB but was planning on upgrading to 32GB, but that was only due to the fact that I was/am using a Windows VM to manage my downloads. But since I have started to explore dockers more and more and may move away from the need to run a VM all together I am just stick with 16GB. These dockers run on the smell of a oily rag so to speak.
  8. It already supports VPN. Just enable privoxy in any of binhex's VPN downloaders and enter the privoxy url in the proxy host spot in sickrage. Did not know this - can you explain a little more on how to link them all together - would like to use the same single vpn connection for all his dockers, as my vpn providor only allows 3 connections Thanks Myk There's really nothing more to explain, it's just that simple. Enable privoxy, set that privoxy url in whatever app's http proxy config spot. You can test that it's working by setting the privoxy url in your browser's proxy connection setting and then navigating to any of the numerous websites that will tell you your IP and location. HEHE ok now im on the same train as you. After a quick search discovered there is a actual privoxy docker. I can only assume your referring to that.
  9. Just finished installing it. WOW so many options. I understand what your saying re: VPN. Basically if your using delugevpn then that side of things regarding vpn connection is covered and would only really need to use a proxy if you live in a country that blocks access to some sites. But having said that would still like to know how to use the proxy on sickrage.
  10. Will have to give it a bash today, Im rather new to the whole docker thing so am sure to mess it up.
  11. This actually looks alot more polished than sickbeard. Are there plans to add VPN support for this?
  12. Have done this very thing myself about a month ago I can tell you it was a very pain free experience. The most important thing I can say is check and triple check your bios settings before you first boot to unraid as this can save you many hours of trying to work out why its not right. My VM didnt mind the transfer to a new mobo and cpu but yes disable auto start just to make sure your network settings and core assignments are correct. And dont worry about having to re-register your VM O/S as you will not need to.
  13. Its funny, I started looking at the network settings for unraid. I think it was setup bridge setting that was set to no, I set that to yes. I also did the once over with permissions for the cache drive as thats where the appdata folder is located (set to cache only). Did a reboot and what do you know... I can still connect even after a reboot. The only issue I have left is the error that keeps on coming up in the logs. Not sure what to make of it.
  14. I have been trying to get delugevpn docker working and unfortunately at this time with little to no success. Now my question isnt about delugevpn but more about the ifconfig when I telnet to the nas. The attached image is what I get when I run the ifconfig command. br0 I understand as being the network connect and its ip. What I would like to know is why is the ip for docker0 and virbr0 completely different.
  15. I have to say im having all kinds of problems at the moment with this docker. When I install the delugevpn docker and start it up everything is working great. But as soon as I reboot my nas I can no longer access the webui for deluge. Has anyone got any experience in this issue or has anyone had this issue before? Your help would be very much appreciated.
  16. Has anyone seen this error before in the logs?
  17. Not sure if you meant first time using docker in general, or this container, but given the tone of the question, I think this is a good place for you to start. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=40937.msg387520#msg387520 By default it doesn't store anything there, you tell the app inside the docker to save to the path you set in the container volume side, and it appears in unraid in the path specified on the host side. If you don't tell the app specifically where to put things and let it use its defaults, you very well may end up downloading stuff inside the docker image itself, and causing yourself headaches. Best to read the docker FAQ's I linked and ask questions if you aren't getting it. BTW, this is a common question, not silly at all, and a little tough to wrap your head around if you've never dealt with something like this before. Better to ask before you make a mess of things. Once you get it, it's simple. Before the lightbulb moment, it's tough. Yea lightbulb moment! Clear as day now.
  18. Morning or Afternoon all, First time using the docker here. This may seem like a silly question but im going to ask it in any case. When setting up DelugeVPN it ask for 2 things. 1 is config host path, this is a no brainer. The second thing it ask's for is the data host path. Its this second setting I am questioning. What data does it store in this location? Because from what I understand or should I say from reading between the lines so to speak the docker needs a pathway from unraid to the docker itself (Being Deluge).
  19. I have a Dell Perc H310 I dont need anymore. Its been flashed to IT already. While I would like to sell to someone with Australia I am open to shipping to another country. $100 AUD + Postage.
  20. Something to check, are they all sata or all sas? I believe that controller freaks out with mixed scenario. Also sorry to troll but for the m1015 do your drives spin down? If so what firmware so you have and any special bios controller settings? I can't get mine to spin down at p20.00.70 All SATA. And yes they do spin down with the M1015. I believe Im using p19.
  21. I can rule out it being a windows 10 Issue as I have a Windows 10 VM on my tower and works fine. I did have connectivity issues which I solved by giving my VM a static ip in my router.
  22. Ok Ill try and explain this as best as I can. I have a IBM ServeRAID M1015 card which has been crossflashed and running sweet. I picked up a Dell H310 and flashed that to IT mode. Flashing was successful.... well I think it was in anycase.(First Pic) Now here is the odd part. Put the H310 into the second PCI Express slot and plug one of the drives into it..... boot..... no drive. No customary flashing green light on the card. Shut down..... pull the IBM card out of the system..... plug the H310 into the exact same slot the IBM card was in.... plug a drive in.... boot.... no drive... no flashing light. I know the PCI Express slot that it is plugged into works as the IBM is fine in that slot. So off I go to my daily driver pc..... plug the H310 in and from what I can see.... I have green flashing light and when in Windows it shows up in device manager. (Second Pic) Am I missing something here?
  23. The biggest disadvantage it has over MCM is firstly to get the best out of NZB's and newsgroups is the retention which if you want a usenet that has high retention you need to pay for it. But the single biggest plus MCM has is the integration of trakt.tv that allows me to add Movies and TV Shows straight from the trakt.tv website. MCM sees that a movie or tv show has been added and automatically downloads it.
  24. Personal experience on this is I have used sickbeard and couche potatoe and while it does a OK job however and this is the unfortunate part that there is a much better program that does a far better job called Media Center Master but is a windows based only as the dev doesnt know linux and while he would be happy for someone to port it over to linux it would involve a NDA being signed. So if your not completely happy with your setup you "could" try a Windows VM and run a program like this. Unfortunately its what I have had to do to be completely happy.
  25. Is there some kind of database around that shows what speed people are getting from different drives. I know it would be a pain staking task, but would help when deciding what drive to buy based on peoples optimal results.
