  1. I have a gen8 microserver as well and get these messages, i did some investigation and its not an Unraid issue, plenty of posts out on the internet around similar messages (buffer size changes from memory). Its basically a bios/firmware issue and which requires an update from HP. Beyond that i didnt look any further as it diesnt affect the server (other than filling the logs)
  2. Hi all, Running a quick check on my server and noticed in 'Fix Common Problems' that there were two errors for 'Out Of Memory' and 'Call Traces'. Diagnostics are attached if someone could take a look through them please? For the 'Out Of Memory' I'm guessing I just need to get some more RAM, but no idea what the call traces are. 3. Thanks for the reply RobJ. As you said the drive looked good i thought id give the server a reboot this morning (didn't when i had the issue incase there was a problem with it and further diags were needed) and the disk reports fine now and the side issue with not being able to run a manual self test has now gone as well. Cheers again RobJ
  4. Hi all, Upgraded from 6.1.2 to 6.1.4 today through the plugin page. Server was all healthy before hand. After the reboot my cache drive shows as having a smart error on the dashboard, but on the cache drive under identity the drive shows smart overall-health being healthy. smart log download should be attached. what is also odd is that under the self test tab it shows that the drive is spun down (although it is up), no mater what i do i cannot spin it up and so i cannot run a manual self test. Is the drive really faulty or something else afoot? tower-smart-20151201-2147.zip
  5. Hi All, I have been using unraid for a couple of years now and never had any major issues and what i have had have been resolved through a search of the forums (proves what a great community this is and why i have only now had to register). I have been using v6 (currently on the latest version) for a couple of months now and converted all my disks to xfs and also been running a couple of dockers successfully in that time (mariadb/owncloud/transmission). I was trying to get gfjardim's CUPS docker working but couldn't. Shut the docker down and then tried to remove it at which point the whole system became unresponsive (webui/telnet/ssh/console/smb shares) i left the server like that for an hour in case it came back to life but no such luck so had to hard power down the server. Powered the server back up but the webui will not start. I can telnet/ssh in to the server and have got diagnostics (attached), I have also booted the server into the safe mode and have the same issue. the one thing in the syslog which appears to be an issue is this section which keeps repeating itself: tower-diagnostics-20151018-1742.zip
