  1. Why are you selling it at such a low price? Everywhere I see these there still $2,000 used. Is this one of the models that can add the expansion unit?
  2. You can get them for $40 on eBay. Foundry EIF24G-A EdgeIron 24-GA Switch not a bad switch. User manual http://www.dich.com.tw/network/L2/Foundry/2402C_4802C_24G/EdgeIron_User_Guide.pdf. If I wasn't upgrading to 10G I would definitely get another one of these, things a tank.
  3. Your server transcodes cable tv? What hardware are you using?
  4. Which version of Plex are you running? Linux server, Plex inc, Limetech, Binhex, phase?
  5. I started this thread a year ago. I have just been extremely busy and haven't been on the forums much lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I agree, some raid arrays can utilize or saturate a 1Gbps connection but if your setup can't then it's not worth it. My desktop and server both have SSD's so figure 550-600MB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. 3D acceleration is probably more hardware dependent. You want 6 to 8 users so that means 6 to 8 GPU's but I would assign 2 cores per user if possible. My last X99 (Unraid) build was ruining 3 users without a problem. Asrock extreme 4 motherboard, E5-2670 v3, 3xGTX 980, 64GB DDR4 2133 1200w PSU. Windows Server 2016 has multipoint but I have never seen it implemented. I own a copy so maybe I will test it out.
  8. That ram kit should work fine. Is your Ryzen 1700 build going to be for unraid? I built my 1700 build a month ago but it's running windows. I have a separate unraid server that I want to swap with Ryzen.
  9. superderpbro, I am having this exact same problem. I was running the pre-clear plugin and once my disc hit 86% complete I lost the Web GUI and now I can't even SSH or Telnet in. Another member here danioj suggested that I post in this thread instead of the General Support thread. The disk that I am pre-clearing is just an unassigned disk.
  10. Thanks. I believe the plugin updated very recently. After I Updated to 6.3.2 I updated everything else and I think the pre-clear plugin was one of them.
  11. A few days ago I updated from 6.3.1 to 6.3.2. Today I added a new hard drive and was in the process of pre-clearing another drive using the preclear plugin and now my system is unresponsive. I cannot log in via the web browser or Putty. A few hours ago it was fine and the pre-clearing process was at 88% complete. I don't want to restart the system manually if I don't have to but since I can't login there is no way to check the system logs. Is there anything I can do?
  12. Thanks for your input it got me thinking. I believe after the upgrade my docker.img got corrupted so I deleted it and my Docker tab appeared. Since my used templates are save I just need to redo them.
  13. Well, I went to the advanced view and this is where it is: /mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img I don't have any unassigned devices. I have no idea what's going on.
  14. After upgrading today from 6.2 r2 to the 6.2 stable version I know longer have a docker tab. Under system settings, I can go into the docker settings and it says status: stopped. When I try to restart it nothing happens. I have read through the guides and it stated that if you have your docker in an unassigned device this can happen but I don't have any unassigned devices.

  17. You shouldn't need to change settings or anything I literally plugged them in and they just worked on multiple machines Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Are you running the latest version of unRAID? If not you may need to upgrade. Also, I am running the latest 6.1.9 plus version. Let me know which version your running
  19. picked up my cards LOT of 2 for $36 + $20postage to the u.k i think that was a bargin, used 5m cable was about $28 in the uk. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182076137891?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT mine came with low profile , i might throwm them up on ebay ^^ its dremel time with an spare pci bracket.... my question is there's small white 3pin header at the top of the card, is that for a fan ? The 3 pin header is for I2C-compatible Interface A three-pin header on the adapter cards is provided as the I2C-compatible interface. See Figure 13, “Mechanical Drawing of the Dual-port MCX312A-XCBT Adapter Card,” on page 37 for the loca- tion on the board.
  20. They will not work in the current Freenas build but the work in nas4free which is basically the same. Which version of unRaid are you running Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. So your trying this on freenas or unraid? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. what system are you running? I have never had to do anything to get my mellanox cards to work in unRAID. I had to jump through hoops to get them to work in FeeNAS. So you flashed the firmware which means they are showing up in the bios etc. But they are not showing up as network cards in freenas??
  23. I take it you're running your server headless? I had this issue 2 weeks ago and I am trying to remember how I solved it. I think mine was an ip address or dns issue and I logged through my Mac but I couldn't get in with any other computer it was strange. Once I was in I just changed the network settings. If you can use putty or terminal on mac etc you could use ifconfig to view then change your network settings.
