Without going near any of the other stuff, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this one:

Why the concern over install size? Most people are installing unRAID on 16-32GB sticks these days. Does it matter much if the install size is 400 vs 100MB?

I can absolutely understand efficiency standpoint; it's a lot of space for something very niche, I'm just not sure what the downside is. The only one I can really think of is longer backup times of the flash drive, but that seems very minor. Is there something I'm missing here?

Hosting fees is also a factor.

  2. @testdasi A disgnostics report is attached and i have put the XML code in the post as described. This is still a issue on RC9 and since i´m running pre-release software i did not find it natural to post in the normal forums.

I have also tried to download the VirtIO drivers again and replace my Windows image to no avail.

@cybrnook mover has been engaged and all files should be on the cache now to my knowledge. Thanks for the input :)

I wish I had found this post sooner. There should be a list of known ongoing problems linked to the Unraid dashboard.

I know Unraid runs very barebones as a company, but this seems like an urgent issue. Indeed, Unraid is not that expensive, but I have come to rely on it more and more. I think it should be priced higher and even have an ongoing monthly fee to fund a higher level of development work.

Therefore, also mark me down as someone willing to pay for a higher level of support and development and premium features. Unraid was born out of a group of people who wanted something better and now is going more mainstream to less technically savvy people. This issue has been extremely troublesome to me, and I have spent so much time on it that I will donate $100 to whoever proves they find the fix.

A extra support tier and a issue list are features i´m interested in also.
