  1. Here's a screenshot of the container template.where do I go to run the command you wanted to see? Do I need to use a computer for it (I rarely use anything other than my tablet)? Thanks.
  2. I'm having similar issues as above and as I've had in the past. MakeMKV was working well for a long time, but didn't like one of the latests discs that I put in, so I restarted and when I opened the GUI again, I get an error stating I'm not using the latest version and need to enter a registration key if I want to continue (I have a paid registration key that I've typed in more times than I care to do). I've modified the settings.config file a number of times, but my edits don't effect the program. Modifying settings or entering the key within the GUI edit the config file, but I can't get it to work the other way which is very strange. I just opened my settings.config file and my registration code is still present, so I'm not sure why it isn't working. Here's the path to my file: /mnt/cache/Docker/apps/MakeMKV/config And here's my settings.config file contents: # # MakeMKV settings file, written by MakeMKV v1.9.10 linux(x64-release) # app_DestinationDir = "/unRaid/Movies/Adult" app_DestinationType = "3" app_Key = "M-Bjb9mgHIiL......x5ygIn" app_dtshddec = "" I've had a similar issue in the past, but found that if I never restart the GUI, the key doesn't disappear.
  3. Definitely in the proper syntax. If I close the file and open it again, it's still there. If I make a change to the default director, the directory updates in the config file and the key stays. After doing a little more reading, it sounds like even the purchased license key has to be updated every couple months. Is that correct? No need to update a purchased key. It works for me. What you can do is to delete the container fully and delete the config folder and start from scratch. Finally got around to deleting the docker and the config file after MakeMKV finally locked me out. All set now. Thanks!

  5. I decided to purchase MakeMKV, but editing the config file doesn't seem to be working for the key code (or the demo key code). anyone else having that problem? It's worked in the past for me, just not anymore.
  6. Working perfectly, and is much faster than transferring files. Thanks!
  7. Restarted the system tonight and the device showed up as you expected. Finished installing the docker and it looks like we're up and running. I added 2 new drives, so I have to wait for them to clear, but once that's done I'll try to rip a disk. Everything looks good so far though, including the default folder location. Thanks again for all your work on this!
  8. I bit the bullet and bought the plus license this morning. Hopefully I'm happy with the system once it's set up. I'll add my additional 4 drives and reboot tonight. Hopefully the Bluray drive shows up at that point. Thank you for the help.
  9. I'm a complete novice at this, so I didn't expect things to work on my first try. I just tried to install the docker and it failed trying to find the optical drive. This could be because I'm still using the trial version and had to plug in the bluray drive while hot since it counts as a fourth device. I'm also not sure what to input for the host ports. Is anything needed here if I don't plan to remote in? If you think the issue is the hot addition of the drive, can I start the system without the cache drive just to see if things will work?
  10. I'm new to Unraid and just got my trial version up and running over the weekend. I'm building a media server and would like to consolidate two systems into 1 by getting rid of my windows pc that I use to make MKV files. This docker looks perfect, but I need to know how to setup my optical drive. I don't want to run a VM if I can help it and I'm not very familiar with Linux. I read that Unraid doesn't have drivers for optical drives prepackaged. What do I need to get this up and running? Thanks for all the awesome work! Once I get the bugs worked out with my network (switching from wifi to gigabit lan) I'll be buying the full license.
