  1. Thank you for the quick reply! I will read it right away.
  2. I´ve had my server offline for a while now and botted it up today to copy some files to it. After that I started a parity-check and after some hours when I was going to check the status I couldnt access it... Not through webbrowser nor through local network/filebrowser. I decided to re-install unraid from a fresh usb-stick with the latest unraid software and copied the config-files on to it. It started up and was running well, but after a while I have the same problem. I cant connect to the server... All help with this would be much appreciated! Best regards
  3. Ok, so I did a search with Fix Common Problems-plugin and got this message: "Call Traces found on your server" "Your server has issued one or more call traces. This could be caused by a Kernel Issue, Bad Memory, etc." I´ve attached a diagnostics-file... All help would be much appreciated! Best regards tower-diagnostics-20170307-0018.zip
  4. Thank you so much for the quick replies! That did the trick! This forum is the best!
  5. Ok, so Im trying to setup Plex on my unraid server. First of all I install the app on my server from Community Applications: Author: limetech Official Limetech Repository These are my shares: After installation I go to Dashboard, Click on PlexMediaServer and Edit, then I choose Host Path were my movies are stored. Hit apply and get this message: After that I go to Plex Web-UI, choose add library and when Im browsing in libraries and going to add a folder I cant find any folder on my NAS that I share. I have been following this guide: But apparently I must been doing something wrong. All help appreciated!
  6. No I get the same message... So the steps are: *Copy config-folder to computer *Format as FAT32 and name it UNRAID *Download unraid from website and copy files to usb-drive *Run "make_bootable.bat" *Then replace the config-folder And does this work even if im downloading an updated version of the OS from what I have on the usb-drive? Sorry for these "newbie" questions... EDIT: Thank you so much for the help! I´ve done as you said (followed the steps I wrote), copied the registration-key and server seems to be up running again! Can´t thank you enough for helping me bring my server back to life!
  7. Thanks for all the replies/help! I ran a scan and got this message: "C:\WINDOWS\system32>chkdsk J: /f The type of the file system is FAT32. Volume Serial Number is F432-1BAF Windows is verifying files and folders... File and folder verification is complete. Windows has scanned the file system and found no problems. 8. Thank you for the quick replies! Ok, so I connected my monitor to the server and I get this message: "Failed to load ldlinux.c32 Boot failed: please change disks and press a key to continue" Here is how it looks like:
  9. Ok I´ll try to explain the issue as good as I can... I have not been using my server for a while and it has been turned off during this time. Yesterday I was going to transfer some files to the server , I booted it up but it doesnt start the way it suppose to. I´ve checked the usb-stick and the indicator for reading seems to flash. The array normally starts automatically, but this time I couldnt hear it reading from the harddrive on start so I tried to navigate to the server in my webbrowser to see if everything has started up. Well, I couldnt connect to it. When I try to connect I just get "Could not connect..." I can in router-interface that it gets an ip. Im running the latest ver. of unraid on my server (specs in sign). So, the server it self seems to boot up. All disks are spinning up, I´ve checked all cables. The thing is that it doesnt start or load unraid-software (?) Any tips/trix to solve this issue? Any info I can try to add to help with troubleshooting? Best regards
  10. So, I´ve setup a SMB-share on my server, I type in SMB://(server ip) on my Nvidia Shield but I just get connection time out. I can access the shares/folders via my PC if I use \\Tower... The setup on my server looks like this: Best regards EDIT: Suddenly (without making any changes) it works. The server pops up when I search for it @ my nvidia shield. Problem solved, just wish I knew how
  11. Yeah, you did it right. The filesystem type of Auto is what's messing it up. Sep 29 00:50:14 Tower root: mount: /dev/md1: more filesystems detected. This should not happen, Sep 29 00:50:14 Tower root: use -t <type> to explicitly specify the filesystem type or Sep 29 00:50:14 Tower root: use wipefs( to clean up the device. Stop the array, and explicitly select a filesystem for disk 1 (click on disk 1) (I recommend XFS), and then format it again if it still says unmountable. The thing with docker should get fixed at the same time (since you only have the single data disk, there's no place to store the docker.img) That did the trick! Thank you so much for the help! Must say this forum rocks! Very helpful ppl and fast replies! Priceless help for a newbie like me.
  12. Never done this, but when I go to that page I can download it and then I get a zip-file. Dont know if its the right way but I´ll add it in my post tower-diagnostics-20160929-0050.zip
  13. I´ve just setup my unraid server and choosed one parity (6tb) + one more disk (6tb). I started they array and the formatting of the disk started. Now after formatting I get the message: "Unmountable disk present: Disk 1 • WDC_WD60EFRX-68L0BN1_WD-WX81D65AS2DN (sdc)" The parity-disk seems to start ok. And one more issue... When I try to enable docker I get the message: "Path does not exist" I´ve tried searching the web for a solution but without success. All help with these issues are much appreciated! Best regards
