  1. I understand that however it creates pointless extra work for people wanting to run a reverse proxy and use Lets Encrypt. You either have to switch over to nginx or macgyver a solution to get Lets Enrypt working with the reverse proxy apache docker.

    That said, the reason i wanted to try Lets Encrypt was because the StartSSL guide you wrote for the reverse proxy Apache container is giving me some problems, StartSSL doesn't pick up the right email adres to validate my domain with, all it gives me as options is [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected], not my own email which is in the whois records.

  2.

    Also it would appear that most people are using nginx these days.  So if we were to do a letsencrypt container it almost certainly would be nginx based.

    If that is the case might i suggest rewriting this and/or deprecating the reverse proxy Apache container, https://www.linuxserver.io/2015/11/10/overview-reverse-proxy-with-docker/

    It is just about the first thing you run in to when you start looking at reverse proxying on Unraid.

  3. Thanks Aptalca for this awesome PlexRequests docker.

    For anyone wanting to reverse-proxy PlexRequests with Apache

    First of all edit your xml like so:

    XcpTAeN.jpg

    Qjp120h.jpg

    Then add this to your conf file in Apache (I'm using the linuxserver.io version.)

    	<Location /requests>
    	ProxyPass http://UNRAIDIP:3000/requests
    	ProxyPassReverse http://UNRAIDIP:3000/requests
    </Location>

    I believe, judging by the github repo that this will work with the master branch as well, but I haven't tested it myself.

    Hope that helps anyone looking to do the same.  ;)

    I'm toying around with this but all i'm getting is a blank page, if i look at the page source however it matches the normal Plex Request page source. Any ideas?

  4. OK, well I've jumped on board and ordered one of the Natex E5-2670 server packages (Intel S2600CP2J Motherboard w/ Dual E5-2670 SR0KX , 128Gb. PC3L 10600R). Too good to pass up.

    Trying to figure out the best cooling solution. I know a bunch of the S2600CP folks have gone with the Noctua NH-U12DXi4. I am wondering if anyone has tried the Noctua NH-D15. Amazon.ca has them for close to the same price but the D15 is a significant upgrade in cooling capacity. I am concerned about arranging two of the D15's so that they clear all obstacles and each other.

    I will be attempting to fit all of this into my existing case which is the Thermaltake core V71. It can handle EATX motherboards and should have enough clearance for the height of the coolers.

    Its been three or four years since I last upgraded so I am looking forward to a huge leap in performance.

    Keep in mind that a D15 weighs quite a bit, and you are planning to double that weight. That and i very much doubt its going to fit. Personally i am using two Scythe Katana 4's, half the price of the i4 and keeps things cool enough.

    Note that the shipping will likely be cheaper if you contact them.

    Combine it with 2 X5650's at about 50-75 euro's a piece and you have a very nice system with 12 cores/24 threads.
