Also it would appear that most people are using nginx these days. So if we were to do a letsencrypt container it almost certainly would be nginx based.
If that is the case might i suggest rewriting this and/or deprecating the reverse proxy Apache container, https://www.linuxserver.io/2015/11/10/overview-reverse-proxy-with-docker/
It is just about the first thing you run in to when you start looking at reverse proxying on Unraid.

A reminder, OpenVPN-AS supports Google Authenticator for an extra bit of security. You can find the option as a simple toggle box under "client settings".
After that you login to your connect page, download a new profile and use the QR code beneath it to set up Google Authenticator.

Note to self, i am an idiot. Thank you! It works now.

Hi.
I'm trying to reverse proxy this docker but i'm not having any luck.
I'm using these instructions,
http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=39413.msg421483#msg421483
All i get is a blank page. The weird thing is if i view page source the code looks exactly the same as when i just go to Plex Requests internally.
-
With the same reverse proxy method?

Thanks Aptalca for this awesome PlexRequests docker.
For anyone wanting to reverse-proxy PlexRequests with Apache
First of all edit your xml like so:
Then add this to your conf file in Apache (I'm using the linuxserver.io version.)
<Location /requests> ProxyPass http://UNRAIDIP:3000/requests ProxyPassReverse http://UNRAIDIP:3000/requests </Location>
I believe, judging by the github repo that this will work with the master branch as well, but I haven't tested it myself.
Hope that helps anyone looking to do the same.
I'm toying around with this but all i'm getting is a blank page, if i look at the page source however it matches the normal Plex Request page source. Any ideas?

Hello all, my Lian Li PC-D600WB case finally came in and I have completed my build, named Shogun. It is posted on both PC part picker and here.
Cheers.

Sort of curious, why that case and not the Lian Li PC-D8000?

Lanyards.

SuperMicro X9SRI Server MotherBoard W/ Heatsink (singe socket)
125$
20 in 24 hour, impressive. Still $125 for a used single core with not much frills doesnt seem like a deal.
Socket 2011's are relatively rare, even rarer at this price.

Small question, how do you add multiple files at the same time in the Handbrake container?

OK, well I've jumped on board and ordered one of the Natex E5-2670 server packages (Intel S2600CP2J Motherboard w/ Dual E5-2670 SR0KX , 128Gb. PC3L 10600R). Too good to pass up.
Trying to figure out the best cooling solution. I know a bunch of the S2600CP folks have gone with the Noctua NH-U12DXi4. I am wondering if anyone has tried the Noctua NH-D15. Amazon.ca has them for close to the same price but the D15 is a significant upgrade in cooling capacity. I am concerned about arranging two of the D15's so that they clear all obstacles and each other.
I will be attempting to fit all of this into my existing case which is the Thermaltake core V71. It can handle EATX motherboards and should have enough clearance for the height of the coolers.
Its been three or four years since I last upgraded so I am looking forward to a huge leap in performance.
Keep in mind that a D15 weighs quite a bit, and you are planning to double that weight. That and i very much doubt its going to fit. Personally i am using two Scythe Katana 4's, half the price of the i4 and keeps things cool enough.

This should be the cheapest source for EU DDR3 ECC RAM other than occasional deals.

Try reinstalling the plugin, it was acting weird for me a couple of weeks ago and a reinstall fixed it.

- Dual socket 1366 motherboard
- IPMI
- Dual gigabit ethernet
- 14 SATA ports of which 8 are from a LSI 1068E controller
https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=12767.msg121129#msg121129
- 6 RAM slots (max 96GB RAM)
SOLD OUT
Replacement but less SATA ports,
Note that the shipping will likely be cheaper if you contact them.
Combine it with 2 X5650's at about 50-75 euro's a piece and you have a very nice system with 12 cores/24 threads.

For any Europeans with a dual Xeon setup, here's some RAM.

Looks like US only FYI

6 total, each only used for 3 days. Probably no warranty.

Not really an Unraid thing but useful for homelabbers. These usually go for 20$/30$ more.

Needs a quick clarification regarding non-cache SSD's.
Can i just add a SSD to the normal pool, not add it to any of my existing shares and use it as fast storage to store VM's or am i completely bound to the max speed of my parity drive?
-
Not mine by the way, i've had my eye on it for a while but it doesn't look like i'll be able to afford it any time soon.

I assume regular SAS>SATA forward breakout cables.
-
Get the Asrock, more RAM slots so you have room to upgrade your RAM and it has full size PCI-e ports.
Edit: and quad gigabit, just in case Unraid ever gets quad gigabit teaming.
[Support] Linuxserver.io - Apache
in Docker Containers
Posted
I understand that however it creates pointless extra work for people wanting to run a reverse proxy and use Lets Encrypt. You either have to switch over to nginx or macgyver a solution to get Lets Enrypt working with the reverse proxy apache docker.
That said, the reason i wanted to try Lets Encrypt was because the StartSSL guide you wrote for the reverse proxy Apache container is giving me some problems, StartSSL doesn't pick up the right email adres to validate my domain with, all it gives me as options is [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected], not my own email which is in the whois records.
