Hello, I'm not real sure where to put this, so I will start here. I have unraid newest version running with Deluge, using OpenVPN. For a site, I'm needing my browser IP to match exactly to what my deluge IP is using, and I'm not sure the best way to go about that. I generally only use the VPN through unraid, and dont use one on my person computer, but due to the rules of this site. Whatever IP I use to access the site has to be the same IP that the torrent downloads through. Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks

That's not the issue, it says the drives won't even start, and when I was swapping it yesterday into different bays, I could feel the drive spinning.

Yes, they are. The other port that hooks to the other 4 drive bays doesn't work either. I'll Google that, and see what I find. Thanks

There are 14 disks installed and 1 SSD. 3 of the HD are going to 1 card, but it's only detecting 2 of them. 8 disks are going to the other card. And the other 4 are going to the sata ports directly on the board.

The card that I'm running is SUPERMICRO AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 PCI-Express 2.0 x8 SATA / SAS 8-Port Controller Card. As to is it showing in the bios, I'm not sure. There is no monitor attached to the server anymore, or one near. So I can't see the boot up process. Here is diagnostic. tower-diagnostics-20190306-0633.zip

Yeah, the system is up and running right now. I have one of the new 10 TB drives doing a preclear on the drive before adding to the array. But more drives won't even show up in the unassigned devices section.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I have an unraid server running 13 drives. I have bought 2 more drives to add to the system. But it is only detecting one of them, and I'm not sure why. Do older motherboards actually have a limit of 14 sata drives? I was hoping to not upgrade the whole system until I was ready to go 4k, as it works fine as it is currently. Here is the setup. My case supports 20 drives, I've got 16 of them wired up right now. One row only has 2 drives in it, and I have one cable running for that whole row, so I know they should all be good to run. Any thoughts? Here are a few pics. Not really sure what you'd need to see.

Hey Everyone, I have been running an unraid server for quite a while without problems. One of my oldest drives is starting to fail. So I ordered in a new drive, and installed it in the system, but unraid doesnt show it available to pre-clear, or even put in the old drives place so I can rebuild on it. Under devices, it does show the drive listed, but I cant find it in my devices or do anything with it. Any thoughts? I've added my diagnostics. Thank you for your assistance! -Chase syslog.txt

ok, i'll contact subsonic on the sonos part. I've submitted a ticket on the booksonic android app, because the app kept crashing, wont even let me pull it up at all. Hopefully that can get taken care of, and I'll be able to start using this on the go.

awesome, thanks. Any thoughts on the SONOS portion? I've followed the instructions on the subsonic page, I just cant get it to connect. I may need to reach out to subsonic direct for assistance on that.

its possible it's working fine, I just cant tell because I am trying to play it on SONOS, and I cant get the server to recognize my login info, and the subsonic app crashes on my phone, so I have a ticket in for that, to have that looked at.

under settings, network it says Status: No router found.

I have booksonic up and running, as in I can listen to media on my computer, but am trying to get it working to play through SONOS, and I did the remote installation. But when I go to put in my user id/pw, it says "The Booksonic remote server did not recognize your login info" So I started to try to figure that out, and notice that its not connecting to my router at all. I have a Netgear R7000, and have port forwarding going to 4040, but it still says "no router found" and under LOG it says any thoughts? oh wow.....I had my backup happening at 4 am....and I am usually up at my computer at 7 am....I just looked at system log again to get you the rest, and I see backup was still going at 8:30...and that is why the dockers were turned off still, the backup hadnt finished by the time I woke up. Sorry for wasting your time, i'll move the backup back a few more hours in the night so its done by the time I wake up in the AM. Thanks!!

Hello Squid, For some reason after this runs every night, its not starting back up any of my dockers. They all remain off, and I'm not sure why. I checked the setting in the backup plugin, and none are clicked to not turn back on. Any ideas? I don't care that it does stop them, just wish they would start back up again. Hey all, I tried to look for this but wasn't having any luck with searching, so I need some assistance. I screwed up my share, I put it on split level 2 instead of 4, so Emby is all over the place with movie folders and movies on different disks. My question is, can I do something, that so the share basically reconfigures all the files on the share to the new split level? That way I do not have to create a new share and move all the files from one share to another? If that is not possible, is it possible to use MC to move files from 1 share to another? I've seen a lot of post about using it to move files from 1 disk to another, but not 1 share. I've never used the telnet, so I'm not wanting to screw this up. Any help would be appreciated. originally everything was over the network. Like I go to my computer, and down to Network, and it shows "Tower" I was clicking on that, and accessing my shared drives, now its giving me "access is denied'. I looked at that, but didn't do it because it said "This is a one-time action to be taken after upgrading from a pre-5.0 unRAID server release to version 5.0." This is a new system and I started out with the 6 not an upgrade from a 5. Would it still be ok to run that? Thanks -Chase

Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to unraid. I've been running it for a few weeks now, and just transferred 9.6 TB to the server. However, now I'm continuing to move over movies, and I've lost my access to "Tower" I get an error that says "access is denied" I know the password is correct, as I put the wrong one in and I get an error message saying my password is incorrect. I found the check file systems page, where I put my server in maintenance mode, and ran a check on each drive. I didn't get any corruption messages on the drive.
