  1. Hah, you don't even know how true this is for me. We're talking about the MinecraftBasicServer by ich777 on CA. And by the way, I appreciate your responses on this for sure!
  2. So from what I've discovered, I guess I would have to host my own repo (which I have no clue how to do) in order to rehost these containers and add separate tags. Is there currently a feature request to have each container honor the Icon URL field within the container itself (if provided), falling back to the image provided by the container image itself otherwise? It's a good QoL thing to be able to separate parallel installs.
  3. @Squid and others: I am unable to find anything related to changing a container's tag. Could you explain this process? Is this required when setting up the container or can it be done after the container is created?
  4. 6.8.3 I'll have to look this up. In case I can't find the info -- how do I tag things differently? Is there anyway to update the tag after the container is created?
  5. Tested it again by changing APP2's icon URL and it once again updated the icon for APP1. Is there no way to individually set a container's icon? Is there a plugin or something that makes this possible?
  6. I have several Docker containers installed from CA and I was hoping to apply my own icon/image to them to distinguish separate installs, etc. I've looked online (here, reddit, etc) and I just see outdated or unclear information. Mind you only the initial container was installed from CA; the subsequent containers were setup from the first one's template in the dropdown. When I change the icon URL for (what I believe to be) APP1, nothing happens. When I change the URL for APP2, it successfully updated, but APP1 is also updated but showing the wrong image (APP2). First off, I've ensured I'm not using cached browser images when testing the changes. Second, it's possible that the base/root container is actually APP2 but I don't think that's the case. So simply put: how do I effectively change a docker container's image when there are multiple of that container/template configured and running? Edit: I've also restarted the server; the image/icon for APP2 still appears for both containers unfortunately.
  7. Okay I can look into PIA I guess. Quick question though: how is the Docker container different than setting up a bittorrent client in a desktop environment and using NordVPN credentials? When I had that setup configured, I would get full speeds (as long as I was using a proxy close enough). Also, thanks much for your response!
  8. Okay, I've tried doing the research and watching videos and asking for help across different forums/communities. At this point I just don't have the bandwidth to learn the various intricacies and differences of the different clients and docker environments. I tried going the VM route as well and mounting shares within the VM but that didn't work either. At this point, I'm just looking to pay someone to help me get it set up. I've worked directly with SpaceInvaderOne in the past and it was helpful to be able to ask questions about the process and understand why he was doing things a certain way. If you think you'd be interested in helping please respond, PM or reach out to me at matt at seventhaxis dot com. I need to be able to configure a bittorrent client to download directly to a specific directory within one of my shares. I also need this client to connect through my NordVPN subscription. As much as I try, I cannot achieve both of these at the same time, either via Docker or a VM and I'm just tired of spinning my wheels.
  9. I'm looking for an updated guide or information on how to auto-mount the two shares I have listed within the VM configuration. I managed to mount them but want to ensure they are mounted again after startup. Any help is greatly appreciated. Currently running unRAID 6.6.7 and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
  10. I realize the title is vague af, but I purposefully wrote it that way because I must be doing something wrong, missing a crucial step, or maybe I just don't understand the process as well as I should. Here are my server's specifications: M/B: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. - Z9PA-D8 Series CPU: Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2670 0 @ 2.60GHz (x2) HVM: Enabled IOMMU: Enabled Cache: 512 kB, 2048 kB, 20480 kB Memory: 64 GB Multi-bit ECC (max. installable capacity 256 GB) Network: eth0: 1000 Mb/s, full duplex, mtu 1500 eth1: not connected Kernel: Linux 4.18.20-unRAID (v6.6.6) x86_64 OpenSSL: 1.1.1a Here is the process I've tried using ISOs for both Windows 10 and Windows 7 Pro x64: I've enabled VMs (obviously) under Settings > VM Manager and I'm using VertIO v0.1.160-1. I've tried starting the VM with multiple CPUs and a single thread pinned. The logs don't appear to throw any exceptions or warnings. After about 30 seconds, I click on the icon and try to connect via VNC using multiple browsers, but primarily Safari. It either tries to connect for a few moments or shows me the noVNC screen and indicates that it was unable to establish a VNC connection. At this point, regardless of how long I wait or what browser I use, I cannot connect via VNC. Again, logs indicate nothing in the way of errors or warnings. Any help is greatly appreciated. Let me know what is needed specifically to assist with troubleshooting.
  11. @Mdarkness1988 How would I go about setting and saving server configuration? Using `server.writecgf` and `server.readcfg` aren't maintaining the server settings between restarts. Also, how do I restart Oxide? Within the console I used the command `global.restart 5` and now Oxide is not loading at all. Restarting the docker also does not load Oxide. This is problematic since restarting or pulling the server down for any reason excludes Oxide plugins on restart.
  12. That seemed to fix it. I don't know why I changed it (or why it doesn't work) but it's working now. Thanks for your help @Mdarkness1988!
  13. @BBLV Thanks for the suggestion. I'll remember that one but I'm trying to stay away from all things Google. @binhex Any ideas what I should try or what could be wrong? Or is it working as expected?
