Cache Drive failure. Appdata restored. PLEX errors.
I'm using the PLEX docker from CA (plexinc/pms-docker). I did a few high-level searches in the PLEX forum for the error message, but nothing definitive came up. I also posted a similar message in the PLEX forums. I was hoping (and praying) that the CA Appdata backup/restore world save my bacon. Looks like I may have to start over from scratch , though I'm not ready to give up quite yet... Thanks for your assistance. Happy Holidays!

Cache Drive failure. Appdata restored. PLEX errors.
I’ve been running PLEX on my unraid server for several years and have grown to depend on it as my “go to” place for my personal content. A week after completing my first backup using “CA Backup / Restore Appdata”, my single cache drive failed. I replaced the drive with a spare SSD (smaller, slower, as it was what I had on hand) and installed it in the system. I Configured it as my cache drive, formatted it and restarted the array… My appdata share still existed. I re-created a new “docker.img” file, and then proceeded to restore my appdata. After about 19.5 hours, the restore was complete… (whew!) I re-installed my PLEX docker. The configuration looked good (as it reflected my mappings prior to the cache drive failure) and the docker was installed… I was able to start the PLEX docker, but was not able to connect via the WebUI. After a period of time, the docker was marked “Unhealthy”. I reviewed the PLEX logs, I see the following message, repeats many times over… Starting Plex Media Server. Error: Unable to set up server: sqlite3_statement_backend::prepare: malformed database schema (5) - orphan index for SQL: PRAGMA cache_size=2000 (N4soci10soci_errorE) Stopping Plex Media Server. kill: usage: kill [-s sigspec | -n signum | -sigspec] pid | jobspec ... or kill -l [sigspec] Starting Plex Media Server. Error: Unable to set up server: sqlite3_statement_backend::prepare: malformed database schema (5) - orphan index for SQL: PRAGMA cache_size=2000 (N4soci10soci_errorE) Any suggestions would be appreciated… I’d really like to recover/restore Plex to its previous glory without having to re-create my playlists and other features… Thanks in Advance,
glennl
