  1. Hi I have been getting this Plex error.

[05.02.2024 03:15:07][][plex] tar creation failed! Tar said: tar: /mnt/user/appdata/plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Metadata/TV Shows/0/f9b0450807cb79fd02ccc1c93207c3d006c5ad6.bundle/Contents/com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb/posters/: Cannot savedir: Structure needs cleaning; tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors

I am wondering if this is a Plex issue?

  2. Hi all,

I am looking in to this as I am not fully happy with Duplicati.

My question - is it possible to have only some sources sent to a particular repo?

The scenario I am looking at doing would be:

Backup Photos and other important smaller files to a local server AND cloud (e.g. Borgbase perhaps).

Backup larger files e.g. Movies/Music etc to local server only.

Is this possible all from the one confi.yaml file or would I need to have multiple instances of Borgmatic running?

    Cheers

  3. Hi all,

Firstly thanks for all the great work with this plugin.

I am setting up spare SSD for my Plex appdata as an unassigned disk rather than through the cache drive appdata.

What is the lightning bolt symbol next to the drive name? I don't think I have seen this until recently....?

Just want to ensure it is setup correctly before transferring all the Plex data.

Just to be clear, there is a rectangular backplate for the CPU socket, but, the Noctua plate covers it without issue because of the cutout for the three screws and the slight raised area on the Noctua plate.

That might even work with the backplate in your picture.

Ah ok then. Maybe that is a standard thing for Intel 1151 sockets. The image I attached is actually the mini-itx version of what you have.

Are you talking about some kind of plastic cover/heatsink over components on the MB by the I/O plate?

No, this board has none of that.  In fact I have the NH-U9S installed on my system with lots of room all around it.  I was even able to install a very large 135mm top flow cooler with no clearance issues at all.

    Hi Hoopster,

I am referring to a metal backplate on the underside of the mobo. Some motherboards come with them to support the CPU bracket thing on the top side.

I was worried it would interfere with the noctua mounting system.

as a note: this solved my issues as well

Not that I am having issues now, but I recall I had lots of trouble with my initial adoption last year...

Can I simply change from bridge to br0 in my docker settings? Anything I should change in the UniFi controller settings first?

I just don't want to somehow bring my whole network down...

    Hi all,

I can't get Radarr to rename my movie folders to the format I have specified in the settings. Not sure if it is a settings thing or maybe a permission problem with the docker?

I've attached pics of my Radarr settings and how the folders actually get renamed.

The video files themselves rename correctly.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

    Anyone?

Do most people set permissions using this setting in Radarr?

For the rest of my LE enabled dockers I've set them up with my duckdns.org and then created a CNAME for my server.com address and all worked well e.g. server.com/plex --> server.duckdns.org/plex.

But, I can't get nextcloud.server.com --> nextcloud.server.duckdns.org to work using the same CNAME method.  I'm using the nextcloud.server.duckdns.org address so not all is lost, but I'd prefer to use nextcloud.server.com.

    Anyone cracked this?

Hey, I just purchased a .tech domain name.

As I have a dynamic IP address, should I set a CNAME for mydomain.duckdns.org so I can use nextcloud.myserver.tech in the config?

  10. Hi all, I am after some advice on understanding the preclear results.

I just completed 1 cycle on my new WD Red 8TB and I was expecting to get some more info in the preclear report. e.g. about any re-allocated sectors etc.

Perhaps I did not set the preclear cycle up correctly? I just used the plugin by gfjardim

EDIT: I just realized S.M.A.R.T was disabled by defualt in the bios (this is a brand new field). Maybe this is why no further info was given in the report? Or was I meant to run "Verify all the disk" or "Verify MBR Only" under the operation drop-down menu in the preclear plugin?

    My result:

  11. Thank you Gary, that's exactly what I needed. I wanted graphics so I went with the Xeon E3-1245V5, which is middle of the road I guess. The parts so far are here, and I'm hoping I've got everything right >>>

    New Unraid NAS

I ordered the memory from Kingston and they say it will be available 7/1, (which I'll believe when I see it). You had linked to these before >>>

Hi, do you know if using the Xeon with onboard graphics allows you to pass it through in a VM for something like openelec?
