  1. I understand what I'm reading here but need some clarity... My NZBget has moviescat and tvcat categories. Movies and TV end up in those folders once completed. Do I still need the /downloads mapping in NZBget? Does this mean the sonarr /downloads mapping should be /mnt/user/media/tv/? Let me know about that while I look into the bulging image. Thanks for the help! This is a great community.
  2. Hello all. I rudely created a new thread for me this morning because I have the same problem. Below is the contents of that post, I am removing my post. My docker image is "leaking" and reaching capacity again, I'm not sure why this happens. I installed sonarr a few weeks ago, then filebot-gui container last week, then started getting warnings about the image. I have since removed the filebot-gui container, but it did not help. Can anyone shed some light on this? I had this problem at least twice before but managed to be OK for a few months until now. I feel like it's related to coppit's filebot-gui, or my improper use of it. 3. This is the key right there ^^^ Those are two different mount points (NCmisc, and media), so any OS (not just unRaid) has to do a read, write, delete process to move the file, and ~50MB/s writing to a user share is about right (depending upon useCache settings, etc) (Note that I don't actually use FileBot, but from what your saying, the above is correct) You can on 6.2RC3+ So, given that mount point issue, why is it so fast in winSCP?

I'm going to make an input folder on /mnt/user/media/ Thanks!
  5. Quick question... I'm using coppit's filebot container. In an attempt to unify my naming convention, I'm using winSCP from my W10 machine to move pieces of my TV library into the filebot /input/ dir, then the filebot.sh is set to --action move. When moving within winSCP, it's very quick, as if it's just editing the index and not actually re-writing the data to the array. However, when filebot does the move, it takes FOREVER and you can watch in windows explorer the filesize increase by less than 50MB/s, as if it's actually re-writing data on the array. Is there a way I'm missing where I can actually make this faster? I read you cannot do hardlinks on /mnt/user/ setups. FYI, my /input is /mnt/user/NCmisc/txdownloads/complete/ /output is /mnt/user/media/ Thanks!
  6. I let memtest run for only 40 minutes this morning after my last post before I had to go somewhere. I changed the settings and slots as I mentioned and preclear has been running steady for 4 hours so far. My PSU is single rail rated for 62A on 12V. See new sig for specs. I stress this: This only happens when I'm preclearing or heavily using drives that are physically connected to a PCI-E SATA controller. I've never made it over 60 minutes into a preclear for a drive connected to that card until now, so here's to hoping it's better now
  7. Disabled XMP, and any on-board mobo stuff I could think of. I moved the card to a different slot, disabled the card BIOS (forgot last time). Now trying to pre-clear the Red 3TB again... This is rough.
  8. Nope. Still did the same thing. Anyone have any tips on BIOS settings to look at or anything?
  9. UPDATE: So I pulled the IOCREST/SYBA card and bought a used Adaptec 1430SA on ebay, flashed latest BIOS to allow drives >2TB. I filled out the RMA form for the Syba card. Waiting to hear back from them. Right now I'm 35 minutes into pre-clearing 3 drives simultaneously. I will post a reply if I have more problems or if anyone asks a question.
  10. UPDATE: Thanks everyone. CA plugin was able to reinstall everything other then my plexrequests container, which I have installed through the CLI, but I got that manually. I decreased it to 15GB, but now only 6GB is used .
  11. Lol wow guys. Thanks for the help. I'll let you know what happens. I had a... Leaking? Container or something at some point that would gradually max out my image no matter what I did. So at come point I made it 40GB and now I only need like 15GB max. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  12. I did look at that last time, but I seem to remember something not working. I'll try it during server maintenance this weekend. Thanks!
  13. I need to shrink my docker image down smaller as it is way larger than it needs to be. I usually take a screenshot of my docker container mappings and re-download every container and manually map all the drives through the gui using the webGUI. Is there a better way to do this? It just takes a while since I have quite a few containers. It would be a nice plugin to have; Saves your docker container settingsg, deletes the image, reinstalls all the containers with the old settings but with a new image size you can specify. Thanks!
  14. Yeah that card is almost def the problem. It eventually crashed quickly with cache drive connected to it only. Hopefully it's not the mobo or anything. I think I'm just going to get an Adapted 1430SA. For $20 I can't go wrong.
  15. Guess I could try a better heatsink. It does get pretty damned hot. Soon I'm going to need something with more than 4 ports, though. Have any suggestions?
  16. Sorry it's been so long, but I just didn't have time to work on this again until this morning. It was still crashing, tailing the syslog would not produce and usable logs, as the system became completely unresponsive before anything got into the log. So, this morning I moved the drive in question to a motherboard SATA port, instead of the SATA controller card port, and pre-read has been running for over EIGHT hours with no problems. What gives? This is the IOCrest card I have: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AZ9T3OU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have another drive I'm going to try to preclear that is connected to that SATA card, but I'm pretty sure it's going to have problems. Does anyone know what the problem is here? Never had issues with drives on that card otherwise. Please let me know what you all think.
  17. Well i'm 52 minutes into preclear right now. last time it crashed at 53. At 60 mins I'm going to leave to do some stuff around town. I have not changed anything since the last attempt, so I expect it to crash again but hopefully i can see what's wrong, though I doubt it! Next think I will try is putting that drive on a mobo SATA port and not the PCIE SATA controller, but that might have to wait until another day.
  18. FCP says that it only dumps to flash every 10 minutes. I'm assuming tail is live. What updates /var/log/syslogs and how frequently?
  19. tail -f /var/log/syslog worked and live updates when I log in through another putty session. Not sure what this one is supposed to do, but it just shows a blank cursor when I do it: tail -f /var/log/syslog >> /boot/syslog.txt That's exactly what's supposed to happen. Its continually copying changes of the syslog to syslog.txt on the flash drive. Exiting the command (ctrl-c) is going to abort it (and you probably don't want to do that) Got it. So why not just tail /var/log/syslog? are we writing it to /boot/syslog.txt just to have a file saved? You're right, becuase I was on the wrong screen when it crashed this time and I couldn't get back to the tail screens... Trying again with that >> tail running.
  20. I replaced the SATA cable and also moved the drive in question to a different port on my SATA controller. preclear is running now, so I'll update when it either makes it over an hour or crashes again!

  22. Running screen in a putty session from my regular desktop. Just crashed again at 49:55 into the pre-read. Power butting did not invoke proper shutdown so I had to do a dirty shutdown. I'm going to change the SATA cable and see if that changes anything.
  23. I just started with the regular preclear script with this: preclear_disk.sh -A -b 500 -w 32768 -r 32768 /dev/sdh I'll let you know what happens.
  24. Oh, I didn't know the powerdown plugin worked with the power button. I just have little faith in getting anything to work I the frozen state since the local console is locked up, too. The cursor still blinks, though! :-| Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  25. And yeah, I don't have a log showing the crash. You know of a way to get that even though it's unresponsive even through local console? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
