  1. Thank you for the quick response. Currently backing up the data.
  2. Cant i use the btrfs scrub? Maybe thats another function.
  3. Please help me find the cause of my problems. unraid-6.6.7 Some docker containers shuts down and doesnt start. My VM doesnt start. Getting this email notificitation: fstrim: /var/lib/docker: FITRIM ioctl failed: Input/output error Getting this Fix Common Problems notification: Unable to write to cache - Drive mounted read-only or completely full. Unable to write to Docker Image - Docker Image either full or corrupted. /var/log is getting full (currently 78 % used) - Either your server has an extremely long uptime, or your syslog could be potentially being spammed with error messages. A reboot of your server will at least temporarily solve this problem, but ideally you should seek assistance in the forums and post your.... Yep, im here. I can fix it shortly by doing a reboot. Error will reappear after a couple of hours/days. mira-diagnostics-20190307-0952.zip Thanks in advance!
  4. Ok so it seems like i keep getting orphaned images. Noticed another thread where some guy got the same problem but there are no solution. https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/65756-orphan-images/ I cannot find any issues with my container settings. If anyone know how to fix it or how to troubleshoot id be grateful.
  5. Ok so i found out that i had ALOT of orphaned images. I read this and then i removed them all with this help.. https://forums.docker.com/t/how-do-i-remove-orphaned-images/1172 Why do you think i had so many orphaned images?
  6. Ok. Been having this problem for a long time but never actually looked into problem. I just solved it by increasing the image size. But with a docker image being almost 60gb its time to fix the problem. Im Windows guy, having little knowledge in linux commands so i need expert help. I have the cadvisor container but i cant find anything useful in it. Somewhere i read that have the mapping /mnt/user is a bad thing...? Can you see what my problem is? I attached an image of the configuration. Please let me know if you need anything else.
  7. Thank you for helping with my project. The truth is that I've always been a gaming-pc guy and I know pretty much what i need and want. I'm a bit scared going into server hardware as it is uncharted territory for me. Regular gaming parts can always be used as an ordinary pc but if this project fails I will be sitting here with server hardware... Still. Maybe server hardware is the way to go for my project? Would be nice to hear from someone who already run a similar gaming setup. Sure. If there is interest I can create a build log! But first i need to gather intel, acquire funds, and the most difficult part, persuade my wife.
  8. I've been inspired by LinusTechTips videos about unRAID with multiple gaming PCs. With 1 wife and 3 kids i see this a cost effective and dynamic solution to multiple household needs. Instead of buying a computer for each person i can buy one, pretty powerful, to be used in more ways. *Storage (NAS) *Smart house (lights, car heater etc.) *Media management. (movies, home movies, photos, PLEX streaming etc.) *VMs. Kids can have their own powerful gaming VM and wife can have her own video edition VM. Etc. The biggest problem is that you all need to be in the vicinity of the computer. Most likely the same room. I've been looking at a Asus Maximus VIII Hero or Asus Maximus VIII Extreme both with 8 SATA slots. Is gaming gear the way to go for this project? This will be pretty expensive rig so before i thow my money at it I want to ask you guys if anyone here built an similar rig or planning on doing so. I know it is possible but is it practical for every day use? Please comment about anything on the subject or post your hardware specs of planned or, built rigs. Regards Daniel
