  1. Haha indeed I am basically moving my iTunes library 1 artist at a time to Plex, it goes fine but then just stops. Going to leave it scanning for a day and see what happens if anything. PS its a 1.3TB music library hence doing it 1 artist at a time TIA L33
  2. OK the problem has started again the library is u and running and the media has been scanned and plays ok, The mover has completed moving the media to the array. I have just added another folder but it has not picked it up So i added another and the same its only scanning the media thats already in the library Nothing New. I know these two albums work as i had them in the previous library. i have stopped the container and Scanned library files, Optimised the database and cleaned the bundles. Stopped and Started the docker and then dropped another album into the music folder but it doesn't put the Artis nor Album in the library. Says added item. from docker log if self.shouldRollover(record): File "/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Resources/Python/lib/python2.7/logging/handlers.py", line 156, in shouldRollover msg = "%s\n" % self.format(record) File "/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Resources/Python/lib/python2.7/logging/__init__.py", line 734, in format return fmt.format(record) File "/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Resources/Plug-ins-4610c6e8d/Framework.bundle/Contents/Resources/Versions/2/Python/Framework/core.py", line 77, in format record.__dict__[key] = uni(record.__dict__[key]) UnicodeDecodeError: 'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0xa9 in position 18: invalid start byte Logged from file audiohelpers.py, line 248 2019-05-03 04:13:26,008 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for '...And Then There Were Three...' 2019-05-03 04:13:28,060 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for 'A Trick Of The Tail' 2019-05-03 04:13:28,161 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for 'Abacab' 2019-05-03 04:13:28,221 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for 'Calling All Stations' 2019-05-03 04:13:28,290 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for 'Duke' 2019-05-03 04:13:28,313 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for 'Foxtrot' 2019-05-03 04:13:28,364 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for 'From Genesis To Revelation' 2019-05-03 04:13:28,373 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for 'Genesis' 2019-05-03 04:13:28,384 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for 'Genesis Live' 2019-05-03 04:13:28,398 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: GUI: Requesting metadata for 'Seconds Out' 2019-05-03 04:13:36,289 DEBG 'plexmediaserver' stderr output: __code__:487: FutureWarning: The behavior of this method will change in future versions. 3. OK I have restored my CA backup all is ok, I have now Added Music and pointed it to the folder Music in Plex and it is now scanning. This is the exact process I did but I added the artists one at a time instead of all at once. I have taken logs as soon as Plex loaded and ill take them again if it does the same again. I shall keep you Posted
  4. Is it possible that this is an issue with RC7? i have a CA backup that i am currently restoring it was created Sunday before i added the Music library. Once restored and all up and running i am going to Create a New library in plex Music, and point it to /mnt/user/Share/Array Share/Plex/ in there i have all my plex folders Ill pop a screen dump below TIA L33

  9. Hi really need some help I have the latest docker plex-pass I added a new library Music, No problems slowly started adding media and it works amazingly but as I add more it doesn't pick up the new files. I have deleted said Music library but it's still there So I moved the entire folder out of the Plex folder deleted again But still there. Iv shut the array down rebooted the Server Still there Optimised database, Cleared bundles but now it won't empty trash... I have attached logs. why won't the deleted library Go? this is the 3rd time iv tried adding a music library all the Music is OK as its from iTunes and all is correct iv checked. Is this an Unraid issue, Plex issue or Docker Regards Lee Plex Media Server Logs_2019-04-30_10-58-20.zip

  13. No but I have to share stuff that I work on via UnRaid to my family all over the world and it then get passed on, I also use it for Plex and Downloading stuff. But why should I be fearful of upgrading the OS why does it Break UnRaid? 3 days down I have to catch up on all that now. Ill attach the Log I have just taken and am going to Restart the server. its a 3 hour drive 240 wish miles to this server so with Fuel etc Yes it costs me money. I have ipmi and VPN to access it but when UnRaid breaks the VPN doesn't work. Sorry in the delay I'm traveling from Spain back to The UK. Im going to stop everything now and stop the array and shut the server down then obviosly re start it and see what it does? but I can't get a log if it freezes when I click Start Array as I have to Physically turn the server off syslog.txt tower-diagnostics-20170417-1810.zip

  15. So I gave it a couple of weeks before I updated to 6.3.3 I then checked the forums etc to see if any issues known problems etc and everyone said all is Good, So I have updated and Now I can not get into it. I boot it up into the GUI screen and once I click start I get a spinning wheel on the browser and nothing it hangs. BIOS fully unto date, Nothing has been altered inside the server etc. 2 days now and I still can't get it to Run. Why is there no option to soft shutdown in the OS-GUI? why every time when I update does it Break? I have turned it off via the IPMI countless times iv unplugged it tried safe mode Nothing and I'm getting Tired of it TBH. Please GOD anyone tell me why UnRaid keeps Breaking on UpDate? Thanks File below is all I have, Second is once I click start I just get the circle spinning while it says Mounting disks Lee
  16. Ok so I am still having this Issue but it only happens when I try boot into UnRaid with the GUI, if I let it self select UnRaid its all ok but if I have to select the GUI if fails and I get the above on the Screen Thanks Lee

  19. Hi I have checked and thanks attached is the log I have just taken but thats after its all rebooted, How do I get a log if I shut it down? Sorry it actually does it on every shutdown and boot. I have to ipmi in and soft reboot to get it to actually load UnRaid Thanks lee tower-diagnostics-20170313-2049.zip
  20. Hi I have installed a APC UPS and set the parameters etc, I have had this issue prior to the install of the UPS. So if I shut down my UnRaid server stopping everything correctly and then hitting stop and then power off I get this when I power it back on, See screen shot. I have to use the ipmi and soft reset it again to get it to load correctly and sometimes 1-2 times. Any ideas Many thanks Lee
  21. Hi I have started another thread on what I think is possibly the same issue any help much appreciated
  22. Yes unfortunately I never too a log before rebooting as its not a major issue, Yes all works fine bar when I delete stuff I have encoded it doesn't free up space. so I encode Blurays on a Dell R710 then copy the m4v onto my UnRaid from the Dell into a folder Plex, Tv Shows, Movies etc. I then have another folder called Sync that I put the same media it and its synced to another server over the net to Australia once Sync has completed I delete the stuff from Sync folder as I have it in the Plex folder on this UnRaid and I have the copy on my other server In Australia. So today sync had finished the upload after 2 days so I deleted the folders in the sync folder but the 433GB I deleted is Not showing as Free space. I would say at least 3TB of the used space on the 8TB has been deleted it should have approx 2TB on Hope I have explained this ok Cheers Lee
  23. Many Thanks Lee tower-diagnostics-20170306-1953.zip
