    I have tried a few different power and data cords. So I decided to swap out the hard drive for a new SSD that is larger. I had planned to do this at some point in time, but I had been putting it off. The hard drive connection points wouldn't hold on to the power and data cords very well. I initially thought the problem was the cords, but the cords slid on and held on the SSD nicely. Guess I'll see if there is a further issue.
