Evening all so i'm about 2 minutes away from being on the 10 o'clock news if this carries on lol. when trying to view a folder with lots of files in it can take around 10 minutes to display the files. when trying to copy files to the folder it can take around 20 minutes before it will start copying. the array is healthy any suggestions? thanks

1 Click the windows 7 icon 2 Select how many cpu cores you want to use. 3 Select how much ram you want to use. 4 Leave the vdisk as auto unless you understand it. 5 Select VNC as the graphics card to get the os setup. 6 Click create at the bottom. Once the vm has created you will see it running under the vm tab. Click the icon and choose VNC Remote. When trying to install windows you will find it can't find the harddrive /vdisk. this is because windows needs a few drivers. You should see "Load Driver" on the left. Install the following 1 by 1: 1 Install the NetKVM driver 2 Install the vioserial driver 3 Install the viostor driver Finally complete the install of windows.

Which Unraid version are you using? This matters since Unraid 5 and 6 use different architecture types for the download. Ugh, seems they've updated their website yet again so that it no long is possible to grab the version number from it. It's a generated value when a browser loads the page rather then hard coded in. I will need to spend time researching a good place to grab the version number before I can update the plugin.

Evening all, i'm very new to unraid and i have a few questions. i have attached a photo of my current drive setup. 1. I've just added a new drive and although data is being written to it why hasn't the drive been auto balanced? i'm using usershares and high water allocation method. 2. if the drives haven't been balanced is my data still safe if a drive failed?
