  1. Yeah.. I understand that.. But it was just to see if a clean install would fix it. But got it working now.. Forgot to delete plex folder in appdata.. Now it's up and scanning the whole library again
  2. I was not shure if deluge would find the torrents again.. Thats why I did it that way. But I did re-create Plex from scratch after I deleted the docker.img.. It did not help. Then I deleted the docker.img again, and copyed back the backup I did make.
  3. I did a backup just to have it. I have some other dockers running to.. one of them is delugevpn, and it is currently downloading some big files So, i just copyed the image back, when I had testet a fresh install of Plex. The backup copy worked just fine for the other dockers, so they are up again. Only Plex and Krusader that has problems.
  4. Docker stopped working for me now Yesterday I got some messages about full docker image.. And today Plex and a few others did not work. Tried restarting all dockers, and they started working.. But not Plex Tried a reboot, and also stopping and starting docker service, and also expand image to 25GB. Nothing worked.. I then did a backup of docker image, and deleted it, an set up plex again.. Same issue.. It shows up as running, but in the log it is spammed with "starting plex" Krusader is also not working as it should.. I can start it and connect to web-ui.. but freezes when I try to start a session. Any tips? I'm not very good at dockers.. 5. Now I feel pretty dumb here Yesterday I found out that I would try the MSI_util program..And guess what.. the audio was fine on my test VM. Re-installed the VM on the SSD, had some boot problems.. but it's ok now. And audio is fine to Running unRAID 6.3.3 and Windows 10 CU. But.. I still have a little problem.. As mentioned earlier, the SSD is unassigned.. So when the VM is running, the console is spammed with the message "/dev/sdh: No such file or directory" Any fix for this?
  6. The removal of the SSD did not do anything..i then tried a fresh install of unRAID on another flashdrive.. the same problem occured. I then tried to drop unRAID an just boot off of the SSD.. The sound was just fine. I then plugged the old flashdrive back in, and now I see that I get a error on the console.. Anybody knows where to start with this one?? Fatal error: unusable configuration Driver failed to start (exit status=1). Also tried a boot with no plug-ins.. and the error was gone.. Also tried to boot the VM now (the one using SSD).. But it just hangs under loading.. Other VM running fra array fires up just fine. But sound is still messed up. *edit* Rolled back to unRAID 6.3.1.. and the audio worked fine for about 5 minutes on my test VM.. Then the problems was back..
  7. SDH should not be a problem.. SDH is the SSD that is not in the array.. I just use it as a disk for the VM, so it is actually unassigned. But I will try to remove it from the system just to be shure it is not making any problems. But.. when I did the complete re-install on the SSD, my bios f***ed up.. so the boot order was wrong.. and the computer started from the SSD instead of the flashdrive.. And if I don't remember wrong, the sound worked fine when it was not running as a VM. I also tried a linux mint VM I already had.. And there the sound was just laggy, sounded like all things was played twice.. And the SSD is like earlier mentioned, a SSD from a MacBook Pro, that is mounted on a PCIe x4 adapter.
  8. Both is passed through in the VM settings page. Have selected the Nvidia card as GPU, and NVIDIA GK208 HDMI/DP Audio Controller as Sound card. I also tried deleting the whole SSD, virtual machine and all VDISK's connected to it. And sat it all up again. Re-Installed Windows 10 Anniversary Update, and everything worked for one day.. Now I have the same problems in this install.. Even tried the registery fix for MSI mode. I think there might be someting wrong with something else.. On every "cold" boot of the VM, it just shuts down right before Windows should load the log-in screen.. On second attempt it starts just fine. But I looked on some logs, and a few of the unraid plugins are getting lots of errors.. 9. Hi. I need some help here. About a week ago I installed an PCIe SSD (built from an MacBook Pro Early 2015 SSD and a adapter from eBay), that I wanted to use as primary boot drive for the VM, but I messed things up really bad.. and had to do a clean install of Windows 10. Installed the Anniversary edition, and got it working. Yesterday I desided to upgrade to Creators Update.. Everything went smooth, but after the upgrade, I do not have any sound.. There is no missing drivers as I can see, but I'm not 100% sure. I have a Nvidia GT710 card that is passed throug to the VM, and is connected to TV via HDMI.. Windows 10 says that there is no audio output connected. Any suggestions?
  10. Ok, to bad Already bought this hub, just to find out this. But.. Found a cheap USB card on ebay now.. Will try that
  11. Hi. Is it possible to passthroug a USB 3.0 hub to a VM? I know there is some guides to passthroug a whole USB controller.. but I think all my USB 3.0 ports run on the same BUS.. And unRAID stick is also on USB 3.0 I need this to work, since Libwirt Hotplug USB plug-in is not good enough for me.. f.ex.. I can't connect my phone (Galaxy S7) to my VM with it.. It disconnects when I unlock the phone.. And if I connect it again, it will not show the files on it. And it would also be great to have a few ports for hotplugging usb devices, and not have to access the web-gui to connect them to the VM.
  12. im not sure how you were getting away with this working previously, but this needs to be resolved, as its currently working as it should do, as in its creating files as user nobody, if you access stuff using a named account then you need to tweak the settings for this docker to use that account, steps below:- 1. ssh into unraid and issue the following command:- id <name of account you want to use> note the UID and GID values from the above command 2. stop the container and edit the container (make sure to switch on advanced view) and change the PUID to match the PID and GUID to match the GID values from the above command. 3. go to the /config folder on the unraid host and delete the file "perms.txt". 4. ssh into unraid and issue the following commands:- chown -R <UID>:<GID> <path to data folder for this container> chmod -R 775 <path to data folder for this container> 5. start the docker container and wait, it might take a min to start as it will reset the permissions on the /config folder. you should now be able to use your named account to add/edit/delete any file/folder. I do not know why it worked before.. but it did.. hehe.. Think it works now, atleast I was able to delete the last downloaded file right from windows
  13. unRaid informed me that it was a update to DelugeVPN today. I updated, and now I have problems.. It downloads just fine, but I'm not able to move or delete files that I download. My download folder share is set to "Secure" and my user has read/write access. But when I try to move or delete files, it says that I need permission from "user nobody", and I know that nobody is the user that the docker is using. But before I updated, it worked just fine.. And I can still move and delete files that where downloaded before I updated the docker. I also tried to restart and stop the docker, and still had the same problem. Then I tried midnigt commander, and was able to delete the file from there. I have not tried to reboot unRaid yet.
  14. I have Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard VM on unraid 6.2 Beta.. Running in UEFI (OVMF Bios) mode, but it is not 100% stable.. Sometimes it just crashes right after loading.. but after a reboot it's fine again. I tried it on 6.1.9 to.. but there I could not manage to install it in UEFI mode.. I came to where you need to load iostor driver, and it found the drive.. but failed to make partitions.. and suddenly there where partions there.. but could not manage to install to them, or delete them.. But in BIOS (SeaBios) mode, it worked just fine. Have not tried to use bios mode on 6.2.. So UEFI might be the problem.
  15. Have you read this guide? http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=41061.0 I have not used anything older than Unraid 6.1.8.. So.. I'm still very new to unraid
  16. I have figured out my problem with low speed now. We have ADSL, but the modem did not open the ports I wanted, before I changed to VDSL interface (sounds wierd, but it was my internet provider who told me to try this), and now I have full speed on this docker
  17. As an FYI, I run one of my main VMs here with two virtual disks attached to it (one in a btrfs cache pool and one in the array). I haven't noticed any issues and even just tried copying data from one to the other and back and haven't seen any problems. Now it could be that one of your storage devices on the array is having problems. Have you tried running a filesystem check? I did a readcheck, and it did not find any problems. And I don't think that any of my disks have problems.. before i started using unraid, I ran Windows Server 2012 R2, with both stablebit drivepool and scanner.. The disks was scanned every 30 days or so And I think stablebit scanner scanned the whole surface every time But as I mentioned.. It works fine now, that I only use one vdisk image.
  18. I think there is a problem when you run more than 1 vdisk for a VM, and you have the vdisk's on different disks.. I sat up a Windows 2012 R2 VM with OS vdisk on cache, and data vdisk on array.. Worked fine, untill I copied something to the data vdisk.. had to use the reset button to get it up and running again.. Since I could not stop array, and reboot command did not work.. said it was going down for a reboot, but nothing happened. Tried it multiple times.. and every time it copied about 1-2GB to the data vdisk, before it stopped.. and did not want to shut down.. I did not try this setup in 6.1.9.. only on 6.2 beta 18 and 19.. After that I deleted the VM.. and set it up again.. this time with only one vdisk (just made one extra partition when I installed Windows 2012 R2) and I also let unRaid deside where to put the vdisk image. Working fine for me now It has crashed suddenly.. but atleast I did not have to use the reset button again.
  19. Sounds exactly like THIS. No solution or reason why, but it seems there are issues while running VMs with disks on the array. More like a "bug" with vdisks placed on the array, that crashes VMs when the start writing something on it. If you place your OS vdisk on the array, you probably wont get far after the login, if you even make it that far. Cache-Only VMs do not show these issues. Workaraund would be to copy everything to the cache or run it outside of the array or a rollback. I think so.. Just finished re-installing the VM, and now I just made one vdisk image, and just had it at "auto" on where to store it. Worked fine copying OS images to it now.. Copied 32GB without problems But experienced something wierd on the first logon from a RDP connection instead of VNC.. It just crashed with a bluescreen (saw that in the VNC window).. but after it rebooted, it worked fine.
  20. Sorry bigjme. Your issue is difficult to solve because we can't recreate it. We are planning another release shortly that may help with some of this. I am more then happy to run anything on this server at all if it gives you a better idea of the issue, even if i have to give you remote access to the server i honestly don't mind Any idea when this release could be out? This issue has been with me since 6.1.3 last year so i'm slightly anxious to get it resolved As i say, it is easter weekend so thank you for your response so quickly jonp Edit: So just an an update, the crashes seem to be coming more regularly now. It has been less than 3 hours and i have just had another occur To give you some insight as to what the vm was doing on the last crash I am running windows 10 with all power savings turned off - (all power saving is turned off in my bios too) I was running Blue Iris recording one IP camera to a network share - so it is constantly using cpu, memory, network, and the network shares I was playing a movie via amazon prime but had left it paused full screen on my display. The recorder was running from my last post so 3 hours. The video was paused for around 10 minutes on my screen. I came back to my system with no access, the video still paused on the screen but unable to do anything. No ssh, telnet, or anything like that. The log i had left running on another screen has not picked up anything at all in the last 30 minutes of running so there is literally nothing to go on as to what causes this issue. The unraid USB is still powered but with no usage light flashes. I have had trouble getting my 750ti to be picked up by any OVMF vms (unrecognized ROM someone found in my logs) so i am more then happy to remove that GPU to see if it is causing any low level system issues (is is not being used currently) The only other thing i can think of is that there may be a fault with my unraid usb? Just throwing a load of ideas out there for limetech to look over (may rule some things out perhaps?) How old is the HW you are running on? Maybe it's a power problem? A few years back, I had problems with my server.. It was an Windows Server.. It worked fine.. but suddenly I would have very slow network transfer speed.. Took a look at the motherboard.. found som bad caps.. replaced them, and all worked fine for some months again. Then It would not boot.. tried re-installing the OS, but did not manage to get that far.. I don't remember if it bluescreened when loading files, or if I got so far that I could select disk for installation. Took a look at the motherboard again.. and guess what.. yeah.. some more bad caps.. Replaced them and it booted just fine again. A friend also had a desktop that would not boot.. found out that the graphics card did not work.. but the built-in one worked just fine.. Got in to windows to find out that the soundcard also did not work... but the built-in one did. Took a look at his motherboard.. Found one bad cap, replaced it.. and both the graphics and audio card worked fine again. So.. the conclusion is that a bad cap, might cause a lot of different problems
  21. I have som issues with the beta and a VM. In 6.1.9 I had a Windows 2012 R2 VM (running in Bios mode, since I could not manage to make partitions in UEFI mode), it was running in one disk image, placed on Disk 1. This image was split in 3 partitions.. one reserved, one for OS and one for data. It was working fine. But in 6.2, I deleted this VM, and made a new one.. With UEFI support.. And this time it worked fine But I made it like this: One image for the OS part, and one image for the data part. OS disk image is placed in cahe.. and data disk image is placed on Disk 1. Both works, but when I try to copy data to the data drive, it copies about 2-3 GB, then the speed drops down to 0.. And after a few minutes I get "error 0x8007003B: An unexpected network error has occurred" and my data drive is not accessible.. When I tried to access the data drive in the VM now, the VM hang. Could not shut it down.. and "Force Stop" did not work either.. Just got this error: "Execution error Failed to terminate process 16228 with SIGKILL: Device or resource busy" But when I refreshed the unRaid UI, the VM was stopped. And when I try to reboot unRaid, I cannot stop the array. It gives this messages in the UI: "Spinning up all drives...Sync filesystems..." and nothing more will happend.. I will have to use the reset or power button. I halve also tried to connect with "putty" and run the reboot command.. It gives me the "the system is going down for reboot NOW!" message.. but nothing happends. Is this a bug in 6.2 beta, or is it becuase I have one VM, running on two different Disk images, placed on differnt disks? I will try to re-install it, just using one Disk image, placed on Cache drive.
  22. Same in beta 18 here, not tried beta 19 yet. This was not an issue in 6.1.9.
  23. I see now that I had the wrong port configured.. it was at standard.. and I think I need to use 443 as port (atleast that is the one mention in the ovpn file). no this isnt right, you need to figure out what your incoming port is for your vpn connection, this might be dynamic or might be static, you will need to find out from your vpn provider what they offer, some vpn providers do not allow incoming ports, in which case you either need to switch vpn provider or use usenet instead, airvpn and pia both DO support incoming ports. I tried to switch to a Windows computer (not a VM this time), and installed OpenVPN and Vuze.. Found the same torrent again (the one I was downloading for a long time now..), set it to download to the same folder.. Took some hours to check all the files.. and the download started. After a short time, download speed was 2.2Mbit again.. And ETA for download was about 3-4 days. In deluge VPN it was atleast a month. But today the speed has fallen to about 3-400kbit.. but it looks a bit more stable than in Deluge VPN. And the wierdest part is that I did not open any ports for Vuze now, so it looks like my router manages that part fine itself. Think I just gonna finish the download this way, and then try to find out what is wrong in Deluge VPN. Think I need to contact vpntunnel and ask what ports they give me.
  24. I just tried Ubuntu 15.10 desktop 64-bit from ubuntu.com.. That should be a fast torrent I guess. It's downloding at 300-500kbit right now.. and that is the only torrent running at the moment. I'm running unRaid Beta right now.. and I also had to setup the deluge-vpn docker again, because after the update I could not manage to get it working.. had to delete it, and set it up again. And my VPN provider is not PIA, it is vpntunnel (vpntunnel.se and .com works also) I see now that I had the wrong port configured.. it was at standard.. and I think I need to use 443 as port (atleast that is the one mention in the ovpn file). The speed went up a little, but still very unstable.. the speed can be 300kbit, one second later (when it does a refresh), it ca be 600kbit.. and the next second it might be down to 400.. so it just jumps up and down all the time. My DSL line is 30/10 and the provider gives this information: Speed from 21-34 Mbit/s (download) and 3,4-12 Mbit/s (upload). What do you want screenshots of, that can help me figure out this speed problem?
  25. Hi. Just started using unraid about a week ago.. And finally had delugevpn up and running a few days ago. But have some speed problems.. It's jumping from 100kbit til a little over 1mbit in download speed. And it's just jumping all the time, the speed is not stable. Any tips?? Earlier I ran a VM with Windows 10, OpenVPN (connected to vpntunnel.se), and Vuze as client. There I had a stable speed on about 2,2Mbit. And I still download the same torrent (just shut down the VM, and added the magnet link to Deluge, and it found and checked the files, and continued to download the torrent).
