  1. Hi,

I just got my first new PiKVM v4 Plus so I can remote manage my Unraid server.
But I have an issue, I don't get any video signal from my server:
    image.thumb.png.103054e9976b1b363fd9d5d6d3557234.png

Everything works if I switch the HDMI cable from the server to a laptop. Then I get a video signal.
I get the CLI (a video output) if I plug in a monitor to the HDMI port on the server.

    I found this thread:

But that didn't work. Or I didn't do it correctly.

    Does anyone have any idea?

  3. Hi,

I've just installed Prometheus and when I start it I get this message in the log:
    ts=2024-08-15T18:41:06.753Z caller=main.go:537 level=error msg="Error loading config (--config.file=/etc/prometheus/prometheus.yml)" file=/etc/prometheus/prometheus.yml err="open /etc/prometheus/prometheus.yml: no such file or directory"

And I have nothing in the etc folder. Shouldn't this "/prometheus/prometheus.yml" be created during the installation of Prometheus?

    Thanks!

Hi there - I'm getting the permissions issues too.

At first I got: Permission denied: E Exception in main! boost::filesystem::create_directory: "/mnt/monero/monero/.bitmonero/lmdb"

So I just made the folder manually.

    Any ideas?

My solution to this error message was to give ready/write permission to everyone (drwxrwxrwx)

Log is maintained in ram, so it will be discarded on reboot. You still need to see if there is excessive logging from any plugin that might lead to same situation again over time. Do you still see those error messages flooding your syslog?

    Ah, I see.

Nothing like that in syslog since the reboot. Thanks!

  6. Hi,

I'm unable to access my unraid server from the web browser. I got this error message from Chrome DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN yesterday but after a refresh (F5) it worked. But now it doesn't work

This is the first time in years this has happened and I haven't made any changes on the server or in the network.

I've cleared the DNS cash on my windows PC (ipconfig /flushdns) but that didn't work.

I've tried in inkognito mode but that didn't work.

I can access the server with SSH.

    Unraid version: Version 6.11.5

Any one have any idea on how to troubleshoot this? 😅🙏

    Thanks!

  7. Hi,

I noticed yesterday night that my GPU didn't show in the server and at the end I removed a bit of text in "Syslinux configuration".

I don't remember exactly what it was but it was something I saw from a SpaceInvader video before we could do the "PCI Devices and IOMMU  Groups" that's is currently exist under Tools > System Devices. It was something the app "Fix Common Problems" also complained about.

My Syslinux configuration looks like this now:

    default menu.c32
    menu title Lime Technology, Inc.
    prompt 0
    timeout 50
    label unRAID OS
      menu default
      kernel /bzimage
      initrd=/bzroot
    label unRAID OS GUI Mode
      kernel /bzimage
      append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui
label unRAID OS Safe Mode (no plugins, no GUI)
      kernel /bzimage
      append initrd=/bzroot unraidsafemode
label unRAID OS GUI Safe Mode (no plugins)
      kernel /bzimage
      append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui unraidsafemode
    label Memtest86+
      kernel /memtest

And I removed a part from "kernel" or "initrd" under "label unRAID OS".

And now I get this error:

    20211113_174928.thumb.jpg.aa6fde890d6644646f44230a683af4d9.jpg

Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block.

I can run the server in GUI mode white out any problem.

Any idé on how to fix this? 😅

    Thank you!

  8. Hi,

I'm in need of some help with poste.io container.

I can receive emails from e.g @gmail.com but I can't send any emails. They are stuck in the queue.

I've tried to read the logs but couldn't find anything and my DNS records (MX, DKIM, SFP) looks Ok. Also I've googled for around 8h now and I can't find anything.

    Anyone have any idé?

    Thanks!

  9. Hi,

Please notify me or move my post if I have put it in the wrong forum :)

I've just upgraded my Unraid server to Version 6.9.0-rc2 2020-12-18 (vs -rc1) and after that I created a Ubuntu VM but for some reason it goes to Paused state for some reason.

I've googled and searched this forum but nothing help.

My disks and cache has lots of space:

    image.png.652f42ae4c353daac95abb55f628c005.png

And so has my CPU, RAM, Log etc:

    image.png.3c471e57de60c9c46489e1d3b34f9f59.png

(The 2 CPU in RED is the Ubuntu VM)

And the Log for the VM does not give my any hints:

  10. Hi,

    Anyone else getting this error?

I've googled around a bit but couldn't find an answer. I've also check the files in the container but couldn't find anything about "sslforfree"

    The error message is:

    image.thumb.png.f8dc279879e0576a0b9ff6f163d476d3.png

nginx: [emerg] cannot load certificate "/config/sslforfree/cert.pem": BIO_new_file() failed (SSL: error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or directory:fopen('/config/sslforfree/cert.pem','r') error:2006D080:BIO routines:BIO_new_file:no such file)

My old letsencrypt container dosn't give this error message every 0.5 second.

And I've reintalled swag as well (delete container > delete swag folder under appdata > install swag)

  11. Hey everyone!

Correct me if I'm wrong here my it seems that the plugins for Deluge 2.x doesn't work even if I try and "trick" Deluge by changes the name of the .egg file.

    Quote

Download the plugin egg that matches the Deluge Python version from above, e.g.

    Plugin-1.0-py2.6.egg is a Python 2.6 egg.

    Plugin-1.0-py2.7.egg is a Python 2.7 egg.

For plugins that don't have a specific Deluge Python version available

It is possible to rename an egg to match the Python version (e.g. Plugin-1.0-py2.6.egg to Plugin-1.0-py2.7.egg) and should still work.

and you can determine the Python version with this command on the container: python --version

    image.thumb.png.2336c905c71b488eb66cc6423fbb8ae4.png

I got my plugins to work when I downgraded my Deluge version to "1.3.15_18_ge050905b2-1-04" and I did that by adding ":1.3.15_18_ge050905b2-1-04" the repository.

    From: binhex/arch-delugevpn

    To:     binhex/arch-delugevpn:1.3.15_18_ge050905b2-1-04

I got that version from here: https://hub.docker.com/r/binhex/arch-delugevpn/tags by copying the name of on of the tags.

  12. Hello everyone!

Anyone know why I'm missing "Autoadd .torrent files from.."

    image.png.742d00fb8c7a4989eeb932b692050a79.png

And why I can't install the "Copy Completed" egg?

When I try I get one of the following after I clicked Browse... , marked the egg and clicked Ok.

    image.png.bb22207b99890e89f5e571cb784555a3.pngimage.png.832284e639ec3417274c3b8a9de627b3.png

    Then it says:

    image.png.3e96882b11ed169d61856f3858f0d3b0.png

and I can't find the plugin.

    Thank you!

hmm ok i would suspect low memory on your system, check your resources, also try restarting the container again.

Strange but it works now. I just tested to start the container and it works..

Maybe it was one-time issue here since I have 64GB RAM and deluge + letsencrypt is the first two containers that will start up before anyother container. The next one comes after 3 seconds.

    Thank you for help!

how bizarre!, so it looks like for some reason your system is incapable of returning system information about kernel and os name, i can only assume that the usb key is corrupt perhaps!. its def not broken for 6.7.1 as im running that, what happens if you ssh to the unraid system and issue the command:-

    uname -a

    what does it return?

    It returns this:

    Linux Muff 4.19.55-Unraid #1 SMP Sat Jun 22 22:45:48 BST 2019 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Also, all my other container works.

  15. Hi guys!

So my son (14 months) shut down my unRaid and while it was going to be offline awhile I upgrader the unRaid version from 6.7.0 to 6.7.1 and now my binhex-delugevpn container won't start.

    It says:

    Created by...
    ___. .__ .__
    \_ |__ |__| ____ | |__ ____ ___ ___
    | __ \| |/ \| | \_/ __ \\ \/ /
    | \_\ \ | | \ Y \ ___/ > <
    |___ /__|___| /___| /\___ >__/\_ \
    \/ \/ \/ \/ \/
    https://hub.docker.com/u/binhex/

    /root/init.sh: line 25: 9 Done echo "[info] System information $(uname -a)"
    10 Bus error | ts '%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%.S'

    And my config is:
    image.png.3bc2afa20918a5ef7ef69c7a1378525d.png

Since I use AirVPN I tried the following:

    - Removing VPN_USERVPN_PASS and VPN_OPTIONS from the config

    - Generate a new OVPN file

    But it didn't help.

    Any advice? :)

Not sure what to make of this error in the logs?

[ERROR] Container IP not found with embedded DNS server... Abort !

Does the container have its own IP and an embedded DNS server?

which kamhighway reported? I am also having a similar issue on a new unraid install.

If I disable networking the docker will run but obviously thats no use

but using either Host or bridge networking I get this error

    Hi,

Similar problem here, but I have more information to track this down (I use my letsencrypt certificates from the linuxserver image as you described in the GitHub wiki):

    My error message:

[INFO] Let's encrypt live directory found
    [INFO] Using /etc/letsencrypt/live/mail.MYDOMAIN.net folder
[INFO] Found DKIM key pair for domain MYDOMAIN.net - skip creation
[INFO] MariaDB hostname not found in /etc/hosts
[ERROR] Container IP not found with embedded DNS server... Abort !

    Hi,

I just had the same problem but I solved it like this by adding my routers IP in /etc/resolv.conf and put it on the top:

    # Generated DNSv4 entries:
    nameserver 192.168.1.1
    nameserver 8.8.8.8
    nameserver 9.9.9.9
