    I have no idea. They seem to work few hours they unraid will start kicking out issues with them.

    Ok so it has to be something Seagate is doing. I picked up 8 of these new. All 8 have failed with same issues. No way would 8 fail. I have used them in the past with no issues but now can't get one to work. Remove them from UnRAID put back in case and run Seagate tools and all test fine.

    So I have a different question now. I am rebuilding parity since had to switch out a drive. It was moving along at 110-150 MB/sec. While it was going I used the Unbalanced plugin to move few media files from cache to the array. I know this would slow down the parity while this is going on. I moved about 40gb of files. After done and checking on the parity it is now running at 8 MB/sec and saying 5 days now. Is there something I can do to speed it back up or did I screw up?

    Not sure if can or not but not seeing how I can share cache drive. I need to move few media files but don’t want to kick off mover right now. Can this be done?

    Question for all. I have used these 8tb external Seagate drives in the past that I have shucked from case. No issues. So black friend I purchased 3 from Newegg and 1 from Amazon. All of them now have Reallocated sector count! In the past didn't get this. So I put them all back in cases and tested them with SeaTools and ran the Fix All - Long and they all pass. Is Seagate doing something to these drives now?

    So I just started running into this issue with 6.6.5. My docker image hit 85%. I deleted them with commands from first post. Just wondering if there is a fix in current version on UnRAID. And if so how do I implement it?

    Thanks this helped. I think High-Water is my best option. Now trying to to figure out how best use Split level. I have a media share. Within that share I have folders for Movies, TV Shows, Music and Photos. Within the Movies and TV Shows I have folder for each movie and each tv series. So would Split level 2 be best? Also since I had setup as automatic split and have been using array for sometime now can I change it now? How do I fix all the media already stored on array?

    It seems to always want to write media to these 2 disk. In the past who had only like 6 drives it would write to one till around 70% then move to next till the same. Now i keep needimg to move files from drive getting filled past 70%

    I have a 16 drive system with 2 parity drives. Also 1.5tb of SSD storage for my appdata/dockers etc. Here is how my Media share is setup in picture. I am fixing that also all the time when media is written to the array it is mostly disk 1 or 4. I am having to move media all the time to free up space on these drives. Do I have it setup somehow wrong?

    I wanted to know with current version of this docker how would I setup my transcoding for RAM? I have the old mapping Container Path = /transcode and Host Path = /tmp Now I see this Key 1 TRANS_DIR = /config/transcode Do I need to change anything? Also how can I verify if is really using RAM? Sorry but I am still learning.

    Thanks. That seems to have fixed that issue. Now I have a share lost+found. Is it safe to delete that now?

    I removed disk now from array since it’s got a lot of errors. One going to replace today. Even after I have it removed from array and emulated with parity it still have this issue.

    I had a few drives fail. I am going to replace them soon but still waiting for FedEx. So now my Media share that have Movies and TV Shows is EMPTY with viewing from SMB on my Windows 10 PC. From what I can tell I can still PLAY media from Plex but can't access it. My guess is XFS filesystem is bad or something but no idea as to how to fix this. I would think I need to fix before I can replace the one failed drive and 2 my 2 new drives for extra storage. milyard-tower-diagnostics-20181127-1217.zip

    Even when I cancel the sync I can't add drives. I had to replace 3 and 9 but trying to just do one at a time right now.

    So I had a drive fail. I stopped the array. Removed drive and replaced it. When I assign the new drive to array and go to start array there is this error: Stopped. Invalid expansion.You may not add new disk(s) and also remove existing disk(s). What should I do?

    Must have been a hiccup or something. Just check again and all but 2 are ok.
