I am using binhex-plexpass docker. I have a E3-1275v6 CPU. In plex server settings I have Use hardware acceleration when available turned on. Is there anything else I need to do with unRAID or plex to get it working? I am not seeing the hw tag in the info when looking at server transcode info.

I guess needed more info. I have a 500gb SSD Cache drive. Also bunch media dockers ie: binhex-delugevpn. binhex-jackett, binhex-nzbget, binhex-plexpass, binhex-radarr, binhex-sonarr and few other odds and ends. I use server for plex and streaming all the media in the house and on the road.

I am new to using unRAID and this plugin. I just built my array. It's all 6tb drives. I have (2) parity and (14) data. What would be a good setting for Disks allowed to be spun down for a system like this?

I show it set for MAC address for NIC that should be 10.0.1.100

So I am having a little of an interesting issue that I can't seem to figure out. My server has 2 built in NIC. I have them setup one is set to 10.0.1.100 and the other DHCP which gets 10.0.1.10. I also have a Cheliso 10gb NIC installed at 10.0.1.101. So here is the issue: If I power on the system from cold state I get a boot screen with white text and then after few seconds the text turns red and system boots up fine. If I reboot the system via console or reset switch the server shutdowns and boots. I get a white text and it doesn't change. When reach the login screen the system will always have a 169.x.x.x IP and doesn't work. If reboot or reset same thing. If I kill power then turn back on it will boot fine. Anyone have ideas or even how to fix this? So I am getting this warning today for disk6. I click on the disk6 settings and don't see anything. How can I verify this and clear the error if drive is ok?

This docker keeps hanging up and I can't stop or reboot server. Is there a way to kill docker when it's hung up? I am new to dockers and unraid,

Hello all, I am new to using binhex-plexpass with unRAID. Today I see that version 1.12.0.4829 is out. Do I need to update Plex Media Server somehow or just wait for Docker to get updated? First update since I started to use unRAID so sorry for the question.

So haven't found the answer for this but I have (2) 120gb SSDs in system not using. I was wondering can you with UD stripe them and mount so it's 240gb?

I am new to using unRAID. I have been learning and installing a few dockers. I am finding that two dockers have issues stopping (Ombi and Plexpy). When trying to run CA Backup they don't stop. Also if try in GUI to stop them they also don't. They seem to be running fine just can't stop them. Might I be doing something wrong or is there a way to kill them?

Been reading around but can’t find fix for me. My Windows 10 desktop on ver 1709. I can’t access shares by name or IP. I can ping the server. Server is at 10.0.1.100. If change IP to 10.0.1.110 seems to work. I need it at 100. Anyone have any help can provide me?

Also the motherboard has (2) 1gb NICs and I have a Dual port 10gb GBe I have been using. I have been using a FreeNAS server 10gb to switch. Rest of my network is only 1gb. Should I use this unRAID the same? 10gb to switch and use other 10gb for dockers? Never setup this way before so not sure if supported etc.

Here is what have: Motherboard: Supermicro X11SAT-F-O CPU: Xeon E3-1755v6 Memory: DDR4 (2) 16gb ECC UDIMM @ 2400mhz NMVe: Samsung 860 EVO 500gb SSDs: (2) Samsung 860 EVO 500gb 2.5" Drives: (12) 3tb hard drives and (4) 2tb Hard drives (will slowing replacement them as space is needed) Server is mainly for Plex and all the media dockers for getting the media. All the Media will also be stored here. I might run a VM or 2 at some point but would be mostly to try something out not keep it there all the time. Might thoughts are use (2) 3tb drives for parity and the rest to the spinners for the array. Not sure how should use the NVMe and SSDs. I was thinking the SSDs should be a striped cache and the NMVe for dockers etc? Then use CA to backup the appdata? Please let me know how you think would be best to setup would be? Going to start working on this today.

Well all parts are here. Can’t put server in case since still copying files off the FreeNAS. Guessing will be done tomorrow. However see above post. How do you guys suggest I setup unraid with all these drives?

All parts should be here tomorrow sometime. Supemicro X11SAT-F-O, E3-1275v6, 32gb DDR4 ECC 2400, Samsung 860 EVO 500gb NVMe, (2) Samsung 860 EVO 500gb SSDs. I have (12) 3tb drives 3tb drives and (4) 2tb drives I can use in system. So need to figure out best way I should setup. I guess use 2 of the 3tb for parity drives and all the rest in the array. Just not sure how should use the rest of these new SSDs. Also pulling from old server I have (2) PNY 120gb SSDs I could use or just try to sell them.
