  1. Looks like a reboot killed it, its been back up for about 5 minutes now. I'll keep an eye on it.. Thanks for your help. I think I should have put a password on root. I honestly didn't expect to love unraid so much and didn't plan this very well
  2. I have some ports open for Plex. I did DMZ it (i know) for like 5 minutes the other day to fix something real quick though - could this have been how it got in. When I delete the file, it comes back any idea how I can stop that from happening?
  3. Hey guys, does anyone know what this process belongs to? It had been smashing my server for a day.. I killed the process but it came back.. any idea's? Location of file: running 6.6.7 Addy I think I found out why its using so much.. How the fuck does a miner get on my unraid..
  4. Thanks Squid. Is prefer the preferred method of doing this, even if you have a cache pool? When I started the docker for plex is saw itself as a new install, so I changed path to /mnt/cache/Appdata/Plex/ - why did this happen should I copy my backup back to user/appdata and repoint plex to user/appdata
  5. Hey guys, I've recently added 2 cache drive to my tower I have set my appdata to prefer cache, if I do this do I need to change my docker configurations from /mnt/user/Appdata/Plex/ to /mnt/cache/Appdata/Plex/ once the mover has completed, or do I want to keep pointing it at appdata on the array, it makes sense to me to point it towards the cache, but doesn't the server move data off the cache eventually? So instead, do I need to have my appdata set to only?
  6. hey mate, plex does automatic task backups This should help https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/ In regards to this error, due to the lack of support I had to roll back, the forums are being spammed with change to diskx, from my reading most of us have tried this and failed.. has anyone actually had success with this workaround? (changing to diskx) Seems adding a cache is the only working workaround, which is very annoying - because for me to do this I need to buy a expander card and SSD's I have done this but I don't think I'm going to upgrade when I have them installed until I see more movement on a software side of things
  7. directly to the motherboard here I have a LSI card on the way though which I'm going to setup my cache on
  8. @testdasi What CPU? How much RAM? Array config? I7-2700, 12gb, 15TB XFS – no cache drive installed, 4TB free Roughly how large is your collection? I think file count, even a rough estimate, is more important here. movies = 2.47TB / 3076 files tv = 2.3TB / 1739 files photos = 33gb / 29000 files Have you set your appdata to /mnt/cache (or for those without cache, /mnt/disk1)? If you haven't, we'll ignore you. ive tried mnt/disk1/appdata mnt/disk1/plexdata mnt/usr/appdata I have no cache Do you have a link between Sonarr and Plex? If yes, have you disable it? If you haven't, we'll ignore you. dont think so, but they will corrupt at the same time.. sometimes.. The only link I could think of is that they scan the same folders, they are also set to mnt/disk1/appdata Do you have automatic library update on change / partial change? If yes, have you set it to hourly? If you haven't we'll ignore you. Was set to update when changes are found then I tried 2 hour intervals which seemed to bring corruption faster This is more controversial. Can you rebuild your db from scratch? please no
  9. Rip i set it to scan the library's every 2 days and it only lasted 24 hours lol log being spammed with Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.128 [0x14eb10b44700] ERROR - SQLITE3:(nil), 11, statement aborts at 9: [select statistics_bandwidth.id as 'statistics_bandwidth_id', statistics_bandwidth.account_id as 'statistics_bandwidth_account_id', statistics_bandwidth.device_id as 'statistics_bandwidt Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.128 [0x14eb10b44700] ERROR - Thread: Uncaught exception running async task which was spawned by thread 0x14eb314d1700: sqlite3_statement_backend::loadOne: database disk image is malformed Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.129 [0x14eb10742700] ERROR - SQLITE3:(nil), 11, database corruption at line 79051 of [bf8c1b2b7a] Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.129 [0x14eb10742700] ERROR - SQLITE3:(nil), 11, statement aborts at 9: [select statistics_bandwidth.id as 'statistics_bandwidth_id', statistics_bandwidth.account_id as 'statistics_bandwidth_account_id', statistics_bandwidth.device_id as 'statistics_bandwidt Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.129 [0x14eb10742700] ERROR - Thread: Uncaught exception running async task which was spawned by thread 0x14eb312d0700: sqlite3_statement_backend::loadOne: database disk image is malformed Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.130 [0x14ea9d71c700] ERROR - SQLITE3:(nil), 11, database corruption at line 79051 of [bf8c1b2b7a] Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.130 [0x14ea9d71c700] ERROR - SQLITE3:(nil), 11, statement aborts at 9: [select statistics_bandwidth.id as 'statistics_bandwidth_id', statistics_bandwidth.account_id as 'statistics_bandwidth_account_id', statistics_bandwidth.device_id as 'statistics_bandwidt Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.130 [0x14ea9d71c700] ERROR - Thread: Uncaught exception running async task which was spawned by thread 0x14eb312d0700: sqlite3_statement_backend::loadOne: database disk image is malformed Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.131 [0x14eb137f5700] ERROR - SQLITE3:(nil), 11, database corruption at line 79051 of [bf8c1b2b7a] Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.131 [0x14eb137f5700] ERROR - SQLITE3:(nil), 11, statement aborts at 9: [select statistics_bandwidth.id as 'statistics_bandwidth_id', statistics_bandwidth.account_id as 'statistics_bandwidth_account_id', statistics_bandwidth.device_id as 'statistics_bandwidt Jun 23, 2019 21:42:08.131 [0x14eb137f5700] ERROR - Thread: Uncaught exception running async task which was spawned by thread 0x14eb314d1700: sqlite3_statement_backend::loadOne: database disk image is malformed I should maybe get my SAS card and SSD's this week so hope moving to cache fixes the issue instead of restoring a backup, I'll look at repairing it tomorrow https://support.plex.tv/articles/201100678-repair-a-corrupt-database/
  10. How can you tell, I'm using the script that is meant to remedy that?
  11. Hey guys, I have some issues that I don't think I should have anymore now that plex is transcoding my Video via Hardware I have confirmed that it is playing via HW but I am still getting stutter quite often, maybe everyone 2-3 minutes. (note this is the case using the plex script to enable nvec and also without) Here is the info that plex shows Note the stream bounces between "throttled" and "speed:4.0/2.9/etc/etc" These are my transcoder settings Surely the 1050 ti is good enough to take this on? its barely using any utilisation and only around 600-700, lower on some other shows I brought the card purely for this purpose but seems to have not made things much better, except stop my cpu from hurting Log doesn't show much, except maybe this Jun 22, 2019 19:04:38.633 [0x14eb11348700] Debug — Session 27wbzjk39srddfdrn8k62878 (2) is throttling Jun 22, 2019 19:04:38.634 [0x14eb13bfd700] Debug — [Transcoder] Throttle - Going into sloth mode. Maybe it could be because its transcoding the Audio? (really?) Also, chromecast is wired on a gig network wait, I might have found my own bottleneck.. server is reporting issue still present on gigabit I confirmed my chromecast is getting near gigabit speeds Please help!
  12. Hey guys, I've updated my deluge and for some reason its queuing all my torrents bar 15.. is there a new setting I'm unable to find? Also, all my addon's disappeared - downgraded for now - thanks for the work binhex but a bit too bleeding edge for me aaaand I lost all my torrents downgrading.. how can I get them back lol figured this out for anyone wondering \\unraid\appdata\binhex-delugevpn\archive extract one of these (go to a time you had torrents) and put the files in the state folder up one
  13. @Abzstrak you stated you added a cache drive and changed the system to cache only, have you had any issues since?
  14. do you have an actual cache drive? I brought a ssd the other day and am going to put it in my tower, wondering if that will help
