  1. I decided I wanted to make some changes to my share permissions. Move a folder from Export Read-only to Export Read/Write. When every time I try to make the change the system reverts my changes and nothing ever happens. I look into my syslog and see the following: May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: put_config: fopen /boot/config/shares/Audible.cfg: Read-only file system May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (52): cp /etc/exports- /etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (53): echo '/mnt/disk1 -async,no_subtree_check,anongid=0,anonuid=0,all_squash *(rw)' >>/etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (54): echo '/mnt/disk2 -async,no_subtree_check,anongid=0,anonuid=0,all_squash *(rw)' >>/etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (55): echo '/mnt/disk3 -async,no_subtree_check,anongid=0,anonuid=0,all_squash *(rw)' >>/etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (56): echo '/mnt/disk4 -async,no_subtree_check,anongid=0,anonuid=0,all_squash *(rw)' >>/etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (57): echo '/mnt/disk5 -async,no_subtree_check,anongid=0,anonuid=0,all_squash *(rw)' >>/etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (58): echo '/mnt/disk6 -async,no_subtree_check,anongid=0,anonuid=0,all_squash *(rw)' >>/etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (59): echo '/mnt/disk7 -async,no_subtree_check,anongid=0,anonuid=0,all_squash *(rw)' >>/etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (60): echo '/mnt/user/Music -async,no_subtree_check,anongid=0,anonuid=0,all_squash,fsid=102 *(rw)' >>/etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (61): echo '/mnt/user/Videos -async,no_subtree_check,anongid=0,anonuid=0,all_squash,fsid=104 *(rw)' >>/etc/exports May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (62): killall -HUP smbd May 8 23:36:27 Tower emhttp: shcmd (63): /etc/rc.d/rc.nfsd restart >/dev/null May 8 23:36:27 Tower mountd[4054]: Caught signal 15, un-registering and exiting. May 8 23:36:28 Tower kernel: nfsd: last server has exited, flushing export cache To me it looks like the flash drive is unwritable. I do not have a lock on the flash. I can shut down the machine pull the flash and make changes on it np. If I boot into unraid the files can't be written or changed. Is that normal..? If it is normal then what is broken with my unraid server.
