I and my Threadripper 1950X are Thankfully! just installed the GTX1050ti and enable this plugin (and update Plex docker) and it is running completely fine without any customizing. Just test some 4K transcode and is running fine, video and audio are now handled to the GTX1050ti. gonna test tomorrow some more. he is using the gtx1080 to the VM, not the P2000

will upgrade soon, will report back if it works or find the right option string

why is it needed to remove it? i use this for my Steam Library (acl allow execute always = True) do i really remove it before upgrading??

WELL, latest update broke it, cant login anymore... can't wait until UBNT release the udm pro so i can get rid of docker and use ubnt stuff only, so i can blame them ... almost everytime it breaks something... edit; switched back to 3.10.5 unmanaged the camera (and reset it to default) remove docker files, and started with a fresh one. now 3.10.10 works... (no backup used, started from scratch)

i know Krusader, but i just not want to use a 3rd party thing for a pretty basic gui OS thing, and sometimes a docker container kills the /mnt/user share so Unraid is than pretty much unusable... (looking at you Radarr...fixed by change the appdata mount to direct disk route)

It would be really awesome to see a File Browser in the Unraid GUI boot (yep i use it, and love it!), cut/copy files through terminal/ssh is going to irritate me and working though the VM or an another device is way to slow, just want to do file control stuff direct on Unraid it self.

i cant help you with the problem, i just going to show that it can work fine. 4K Plex / Unraid, Direct play. no buffering or what so ever, just fine. yes, transcode 4K, is a pain in the ass (just don't do that) i don't have a GPU free for Plex (the 2 a have are occupied bij Unraid gui and the desktop VM) so no hardware acceleration. Just test play 2 4k movies on the same time, Unraid/Plex show that it just fine (78Mbps / 81Mbps) even with subtitles enabled. 1 stream to TV and the other on de desktop (with PlexMediaPlayer) i do have a smartTV but don't use the smart functions, instead i hooked a Vero4K (kodi/OSMC box) on it. (the TV phones to much to home and the user agreement sucks) and like a already say, transcoding 4k sucks, so its only working fine local.

i really would have een file manager in the Unraid Gui, its making the Gui boot much completer with it... i'm not really care to have a file manger in the webgui...

Upgraded my Threadrippper server without any problems, i do have an Marvel sas/sata controller what still works fine.

This is mine server/desktop. its water cooled so it is a bit less noisier, especially the Asus strix vega64 is with the stock cooler a bit too noisiest.... i am using it as een server best it also host my daily VM and a second VM for Win10 Gaming, but with the know reset bug from the vega i currently use the daily VM (bold share the same cores en Vega64) slowly upgrading the hdd's, its 71% full, but i think that i first swap the sas/sata card out from a Non-marvel controller card. here too! after 3 days, unifi-video wont use more then 4% RAM, and it stable.

If the array is not encrypted you can acces then through a Linux liveUSB, i'm not sure how to acces a encrypted disk...

I am going to test the JVM_MX here to, its now using 27% of RAM (total ram is 64Gb!) with is to much for me, my desktop is running in this server too... hope the JVM_MX wil work here. it just has 1 camera...

Its a build with running my network controller (unifi) its is my multimedia server, VPN, and my desktops is running on it (VM) currently i am typing this on my daily VM. so it need some stability (i don't have an fully backup of it, just the most important stuff is backup up, i trust the parity system) oh, and it fully watercooled the biggest problem what i currently got is the reset bug from the vega gpu. the Threadripper rocks!

currently am not upgrading to the 6.7.0 RC because my build is a all-in-one system, but can someone tell me the well know reset bug of the Vega56/64 graphic cards is fixed with this 4.19 kernel? The build is a Threadripper 1950 system, wits controlling the network, multiple Docker containers and my desktop VM's, so i feels a little bit curious for upgrading the system :S

I use this docker app and here its running on 2.6.1 , i use CA Auto Update Applications to do fully automatic updates. didn't pay for any licence, the free version is enough for me.

will upgrade when i got some time free, or maybe i will wait for the 4.19 kernel, because i have heart that in that version the "Vega reset bug" is fixed? (someone who can confirm that? :S )

hmm, then i only watch the Tdie temperature and ignore the other one, the MB bios gifs me a lot of information about the chipset, system 1 & 2 vram, PCIe1 & PCIe2. not sure if it is just a Unraid "problem" or a threadrippper/Gigabyte "problem". it would be really handy to read those temperatures real time.

type the command in, it work! Tdie means: cpu, Tctrl means Motherboard? Tdie is now 36c and Tctrl is currently 65c (Celsius) typed it manual in, that works fine. jep, (need it for the speedtest plugin) this is the solution! now i can read the 2 temps. Tdie en Tctrl, it comes double but selected the 2 upper ones. i passthrough the GPU to the VM i run daily and this one is running at 25c. its feels just a bit better to know the temperature of the hardware specialy with Watercooling setup

will check it when i finished the watercool installation on de build.. the system sensor plugin even wont detect any sensors, it saying click on detect. i have run in terminal the command 'sensors-detect' 'sensors' and even that wont gif positive results...
