Apparently, I used an old walkthrough to get my 5.1 version installed. Could you direct me to the right procedure? Which specific version of 6.0.38 should I download? My Twonky server sits on my flash drive. Is it just a matter of replacing the old files with new ones under the Twonkyvision folder? Or should I run a plugin? Thank you

Hello, I am running Unraid v.5b14 and Twonky Server v.5.1 which is a very old version. This version is suggested in somewhere in this forum and it works. Nevertheless I would like to know if a newer version is supported. I am asking because I already tried a newer version a few months ago and the experience was painful. I had to do some serious clean up in Unraid in order for Twonky to start working again. Thank you

Hello, Squeezebox server works flawlessly on Readynas. I am really tired of the problem it has on Unraid. Losing the settings all the time, not rescanning the music folder when it should, not accessing the newly ripped music in the folder because permissions have to be changed. This is really no fun at all. I am moving my music back to my Readynas. Anybody knows how to remove the Squeezebox Server 7.6.0 plugin on Unraid? Thanks

Hi, I am using the 7.6.0 version through the plugin install (plg). Somehow my Squeezeserver does not retaing the settings after a reboot. I have to go through the whole process every time I need to reboot the machine. Any idea? Thanks

Hello, I have an application that rips CDs in Windows and write them to a mapped shared drive that is on my Unraid v.5. The thing is all the ripped files are set with root/root permissions. And Squeezebox Server somehow cannot scan them. How can I either: - get Squeezebox Server to scan files with root permissions? - get the application on my Windows to write the files to Unraid with the nobody/users permission? Thank you

So please, in a few words what are the minimal conditions to build a share across multiple disks and see the content? Example" Nas is the name of the Unraid nas /disk1/MEDIA/VIDEOS /disk2/MEDIA/VIDEOS I want to be able to type \\Nas\MEDIA and see the content such as VIDEOS/....... When I drill down into \\Nas\MEDIA I can see the VIDEOS folder. But if I drill down again into the VIDEOS folder then it is empty although if I go to /disk2/MEDIA/VIDEOS/ it is full of subfolders themselves full of data. I haven't got a clue. Thanks

Turning on user Shares should present on the network a \\Nas\MEDIA folder with the Videos folder in there. I don't understand. If you mean that the MEDIA share has to show up in the Shares tab and be active then it is. When I drill down into it I can see the VIDEOS folder. Hello, I installed Squeezebox as described in this thread and it works ok. But now I see that there is newer way to install it that supports upgrades (or does it?) via Unraid Plugins ( _http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=UnRAID_Plugins). So, how do I do that? First uninstall the previous one? If so then what is the procedure? Or maybe does the new method overwrite the old version? Can someone clarify what to do here? Thank you

Hello, Thank you for the updated package. I went through some pain to upgrade from the previous version and now it works. I basically deleted many files and folders and somehow forced a new install and reconfiguration. Isn't there a step by step upgrade path that would preserve the previous configuration and customizations? And BTW this question is also important for other packages too of course, so how do we upgrade packages cleanly? Thank you

Anybody here with a WDTV Live? I can't see the shares. I can see disk1 and flash. And that's it, I cannot delve any further into disk1. My Dune HD Base haven't got any problem seeing my shares, and my WDTV Live sees all my shares on my second ReadynasPRO. What are the prerequisites for a WDTV Live? Thank you

Hello again, I got past my previous problem. I just renamed all the /mnt/cache entries to /mnt/disk1. I got the 0.6.1 running, sort of. I get the wizard, on port 8082. But when done with the wizard, nothing comes up at port 9090 (https). What can it be? And again is there a newer script for the 0.6.5 version? Thanks

Hello, I have just installed my Unraid using the latest v.5 beta. I have checked my ethernet speed on the Unraid server and it is 1Gb FullDuplex. I also have a Netgear ReadyNAS Pro running at 1Gb FullDuplex. Both are connected to a 1Gb switch. If I write big files to my Readynas the speed is great and in relation with the ethernet speed. But if i try to copy files from my Readynas to the Unraid the speed is more like 100Mb. What have gone wrong? Or is it a limitation of Unraid? Thank you

I have my server started and all my disks have been pre cleared and formatted. I am not doing the parity disk for the moment. Here are my questions: - how do I make all my disks show up as one volume in my network? I know unRaid does not work as a regular NAS with striping but I read somewhere that building a share does the trick of showing one volume for all my drives. How? - I have all my data on external drives formatted as NTFS and i can connect them to my unRaid using an eSata port. When connected unRaid gives them a name, like /dev/sdg for exemple. How then do i access their data and copy it to the unRaid volume/disks? Thank you
