  1. Of course, and that is why it is weird that after it does unpack while downloading, it deletes all and starts again after the download has finished.
  2. Hello, Something I don't understand. Why is Sabnzbd unraring while downloading, which is good, and then when the downloading is done, it actually deletes all that it has unrared, rechecks the whole download, and finally urar, again? Is that a misconfiguration in the switches? or is it by design which would be pretty useless and wastes time.
  3. I don't know what kind of errors. And yes the Parity I ran yesterday ended without errors. novanas2-diagnostics-20190114-1604.zip
  4. Hello, I had these disk errors on one HDD, somehow I don't know why, but the Enhanced SMART report I ran on it says everything is fine. Still the Fix Common Problem report keeps reminding me about it. It gets old. How can I reset the error count on that HDD? And one more thing, in the past I am pretty sure, stopping and restarting the Array didn't start the Parity checking automatically. But now, if I do, the Parity checking starts immediately. And since I don't want it started when I stop it manually it says it has been aborted which is not recommended, right? Is there anything I can do to go back to the way it was, meaning the Parity checking would start only if called for, if scheduled, or if there was a crash?
  5. Hello, I have been using Jdownloader under Windows for a long time. I thought I'd change my habits and use it under Unraid. I got it configured and running, I guess. But no matter what I can't add anything to the linkgrabber. It just won't get links from my clipboard, even when using copy and paste. Any idea?
  6. This is exactly what I did the minute you put me on the right track about modifying the config of the docker. I am already past that as all my data has been recovered and the old disk is disconnected. Now I have to do it again for the last old disk. What tip can you give me so I don't fall back into the same problem? Of course I will check the connections first, but as you have seen my Parity disk was shown all green while being disconnected. What should I check to be sure?
  7. I saw my files under media, but I need to access the content of specific disks. The unassigned one and disk4. Any idea how to do that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. I got Krusader running within Unraid, familiar interface but I still didn't figure out how to show the content by specific disk. There is nothing under /mnt. And about the warning, I fear I didn't understand what you wrote. Did you mean that the sharing settings are not default? That somehow I changed some sharing rights that I shouln't have changed?
  9. I connected the replaced drive using an external USB dock. As you can see I mounted it and can access it from the network via Toal Commander. I could copy the content from Windows but I am afraid to lose something due to Windows or filename syntax or whatever, and also I wish to spare my PC the burden to copy all those files. What command could I use via Unraid Terminal to put all the burden and responsibility on Unraid?
  10. BTW, disk 1 is also bound to be discarded and replaced. Could I copy its content to disk 4, then after that connect the replaced disk (with the missing data) instead of disk 1 and also copy its content, or rebuild parity? Or even better, can I connect the replaced disk with missing data through a USB HDD docking station? Will Unraid read the XFS through USB?
  11. These logs reveal all my flaws Mea culpa.
  12. BTW, disk 1 is also bound to be discarded and replaced. Could I copy its content to disk 4, then after that connect the replaced disk (with the missing data) instead of disk 1 and also copy its content, or rebuild parity?
  13. Would it be possible to ensure my data is safe somehow, maybe after parity rebuild, then disconnect the parity disk (how?) and therefore use its connection for the replaced disk. Copy its data to another disk, disconnect it, reconnect the parity and rebuild. Possible? novanas2-diagnostics-20181231-1529.zip
  14. How can I do that? All my HDD ports are used. Are you sure there is no XFS plugin I could use to read the content? Strike that. I understand the only way is to load Linux on a VM. To much wasted time. Would it be possible to ensure my data is safe somehow, maybe after parity rebuild, then disconnect the parity disk (how?) and therefore use its connection for the replaced disk. Copy its data to another disk, disconnect it, reconnect the parity and rebuild. Possible?
  15. You were right of course. At the end of the Data Rebuild it finally refreshed the status of the Parity disk and it was missing. So I powered off, hooked and tightened everything inside (although I didn't find any obvious disconnection). After a restart it looks like everything is running smoothly and it is rebuilding the Parity disk. But in the meantime it looks like the content of the replaced disk is missing as the new disk has nothing written on it. I prefer to let it finish the Parity rebuild as is and end up with a functional and protected NAS. I still have the replaced disk and although it a few reallocated sectors it was still readable. Is there a way to read the content on a Windows PC and transfer the content to the NAS?
  16. I do not understand, so how does the Parity disk show up on the list with the greenlight? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  17. What am I seeing there then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Forgot to mention it. I checked all the connections, electrical and data. All is hooked fine. In the meantime the Data rebuild started its progress back and stands at 31% now, but the errors on the parity disk are still growing fast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. The problem happened again. The Array rebuild progress went up to 19% and then the Write counter on the new HDD stopped and the Errors counter on the Parity disc is climbing through the roof. What should I do? novanas2-diagnostics-20181230-2022.zip
  20. I manually powered down the whole NAS again. This time at startup it started with Array started !?! So I decided to proceed as follows: - I stopped the array - I assigned the new available HDD to the missing slot (the bad HDD I removed) - I started in maintenance mode This time it is checking Parity and rebuilding array without errors on the Parity drive, and the only counter that progresses is the Write counter on the new HDD, which is a good sign. The Array rebuild progress seems to be faster too. I am crossing my fingers.
  21. I would like to say that it is not the 1st time that I swap a faulty disk. So I know something is not right this time. I stopped the Parity/Array rebuild and tried to stop the array, but again the NAS dos not stop the array and just waits, Stopping services, with the CPU's at 100%. novanas2-diagnostics-20181230-1646.zip
  22. Thanks for asking about the old disks but this is beside the point. The disks were very old, too small and the errors were pointing to a future failure. Now the urgency is to restore the access to my NAS and the Errors count on the Parity disk is still growing all the time, while the Parity rebuild is still slowly progressing though. But as I said it was exactly like that before until it got stuck at 25%.
