Hello, i have Unraid 1 HDD configuration, how to easiest way to change MB or 1 HDD to other? I did it manually and i have to create all VMs, its there better options? Something like clone or replace MB or storage device?

Hello, i was able to install Win98 SE as unraid VM, i even GPU passthrough of Geforce 7950 PCI-E and USB (except Safe mode, where i have to use VNC connection) are working, but i need Audio and Network. In my device manager, after some trick with change PnP bios device to PCI bus, i have few uknow devices. I wonder if there are: 1) NetKVM driver for Windows 98 any other option for networking? I have tried PCI Intel NIC, but i wasnt able to passthrought it (it wasnt PCI devices list - for passthrought.) 2) Audio driver, i have tried to add PCI Soundcard - SB Live and SB Audigy 2 - but they werent in PCI devices list - for passthrought. Solution could be maybe USB LAN and USB Soundcard, but it need additional HW. Otherwise Win98 are blazing fast.

256 MB RAM is safe for installation, after that it could be adjusted to 512, + there some unofficial patches for more.

What about network is there some NetKVM driver, or you need PCI Lan card? Because i would also need PCI audio and PCI GPU and i have only 2 PCI slots, so make net working without additional card would be nice. Step by step boot, which setting need to be enabled and disable for boot? My guest is that problem would ve vnc video driver. Did you tested it with PCI GPU passthrough? I was enable to boot into safe mode with IGP used, but there is not Win98x driver for IntelHD 200, i far as i know.

What part of my feature request you dont understand? Im using unraid for VMs, like for example Linux, i need to boot from cd, so i have to edit XML, much better user experience would be yust add some combobox, where use could select device for boot and dont mess with XML. I read somewhere that such settings already was in Unraid, but dont worked.

Hello, i want to use Unraid for Windows 98 retro gaming. Problem is that there are not new mainboard with 3 PCI slot, they have only 2 PCI, so i cant use PCI Video/Nework/Audio card passthrough. Video and Audio is must have on new boards - integrated Audi and LAN - are not compatible with Windows98, but if there would be NetKVM driver for use of existing physical Lan card, if would be nice. I checked WinIO cd and driver there are only for Windows XP+ newer.

Where some VM booting device priority GUi setting? edit XML, by hand is pretty annoying.

Hello, i was stuck when i used Windows 7 64bit VM, VM worked great, but i after that because of standart power settings, hibernation was applied and i was stuck, on hibernation preboot screen, when i should to choice, if i want to resume or delete hibernation state - problem is that on this screen isnt - any timeout and USB keyboards werent worked here.. In case of physical machine, i would use PS2 keyboard or Linux boot cd, to delete hibernation state. I found solution, but it wasnt user friendly, have also Linux VM, so i remove 1-windows vdisk and replaced it by Linux one, and added original as second disk, after that i wanted to mount windows vdisk and delete hibernation file in windows partition root. I dont know why but, vdisk was bootable, only after gparted install, and wasnt described as standart sdX device, but as vdX device.. i dont think that in VM, should system know that machine is not physical one. Problem is that any preboot - F8 menu interaction also is not working. I would really appreciate fix this bug and add some bootdevice combobox setting into VM definition page. I would also appreciate possiblity view in read only mode machine definiton page, only xml view when is machine running its annoying. As new user i would also appreciate some Vmtools for shutdown whole unraid from guest machine, chained with quest shutdown. Mainboard: board 1151:GA-H61M-S2PV (rev. 2.2) / only USB2 ports http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4505#ov Update: Im again stuck, i had bad shutdown and default boot option is now Repair console and its looped, because keyboard its not working. Fortum verification quest are evil, are too american, i have to google them.
