  1. I realized today that my last installation of ombi doesn't have any user. I tried to run user importer but with no success. Did some of you experienced this?
  2. I get that error too. The application seems to run OK, but as long as it spits errors in log I think something might be wrong.
  3. Hi, I'm having an issue with the newsletter. The cron looks to be fine, and if I manually send it it works. Unfortunately it doesn't send it automatically. My cron expression is 0 17 * * 5, so if I press test it shows the correct dates when the email should be sent, but so far it didn't send any. Thank you.
  4. I've used firefox and chrome yesterday. It crashed while using the Samsung TV. However as I mentioned there are users experiencing this without even having plex installed.
  5. I'll stay on 6.4.1 until it comes out. How do I know when the patch will be implemented in unRAID? It will be included in the next rc? Thank You.
  6. As I promised in another thread I've tested Call Trace issue with some dockers (plex is the most present as far as I can see). The same behavior was present in 6.5.1 rc1 unfortunately. What is strange about it, is that I used plex remotely (so using transcoding) and successful streamed 3 concerts. As I got home I've tried another concert on my Samsung TV (this time with direct play), and unfortunately after one hour it stopped working. However I can reproduce this issue with plex, but other users as we discussed in the other threads get this error for other dockers. If you need me to test something I'm happy to help. tower-diagnostics-20180321-1919.zip
  7. In this case doesn't look to be plex Mar 20 09:46:37 Tower kernel: CPU: 6 PID: 29298 Comm: docker-proxy Not tainted 4.14.26-unRAID #1 This is the line where you can identify what docker stopped working. It is a bug present in 6.5.0 that may be kernel related. I'll have a look in the thread posted above.
  8. I guess when this happens in your log, your tvheadend docker does not work anymore. There are a few of us that have this problem with Plex after 6.5.0 upgrade. I rolled back to 6.4.1 as a temporary solution and I hope we'll have a fix soon. Good luck.
  9. Hi, I had the same issue. It happened after 6.5.0 upgrade. https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/70083-rc6-call-traces/
  10. Hi, You may want to use dockers instead of VM for every app you need. I suggest you watch gridrunner's videos (he has a Youtube channel dedicated to this things) and I'm sure you will have a batter understanding about how this things work. I was in the same situation as you almost 2 years ago when I started using unRAID, and now I use VMs just for tests and nothing more. Good luck.
  11. Hi, I've got a strange problem with external storage. After I enable the plugin, I'm unable to access the settings page ...../index.php/settings/user/externalstorages For less than a second it shows up and after that it disappears. Any help is appreciated.
  12. Hi and happy new year for everybody, I'm having some trouble with the network going down recently. My log is full of this kind of messages Jan 5 15:12:57 Tower kernel: vethc78e917: renamed from eth0 Jan 5 15:12:57 Tower kernel: docker0: port 8(veth7321aac) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:12:57 Tower kernel: docker0: port 8(veth7321aac) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:12:57 Tower kernel: device veth7321aac left promiscuous mode Jan 5 15:12:57 Tower kernel: docker0: port 8(veth7321aac) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:13:04 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(vethf8ae682) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:13:04 Tower kernel: vethac1ba09: renamed from eth0 Jan 5 15:13:04 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(vethf8ae682) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:13:04 Tower kernel: device vethf8ae682 left promiscuous mode Jan 5 15:13:04 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(vethf8ae682) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:15:54 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(veth1d1b064) entered blocking state Jan 5 15:15:54 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(veth1d1b064) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:15:54 Tower kernel: device veth1d1b064 entered promiscuous mode Jan 5 15:15:54 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(veth1d1b064) entered blocking state Jan 5 15:15:54 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(veth1d1b064) entered forwarding state Jan 5 15:15:54 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(veth1d1b064) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:15:54 Tower kernel: eth0: renamed from vethae9317a Jan 5 15:15:54 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(veth1d1b064) entered blocking state Jan 5 15:15:54 Tower kernel: docker0: port 3(veth1d1b064) entered forwarding state Jan 5 15:16:44 Tower kernel: docker0: port 5(veth5be321d) entered blocking state Jan 5 15:16:44 Tower kernel: docker0: port 5(veth5be321d) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:16:44 Tower kernel: device veth5be321d entered promiscuous mode Jan 5 15:16:44 Tower kernel: docker0: port 5(veth5be321d) entered blocking state Jan 5 15:16:44 Tower kernel: docker0: port 5(veth5be321d) entered forwarding state Jan 5 15:16:44 Tower kernel: docker0: port 5(veth5be321d) entered disabled state Jan 5 15:16:44 Tower kernel: eth0: renamed from veth6993235 Is it normal? I can't figure out what exactly put the network down. If I unplug the cable and plug it back it works again for some time. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. tower-diagnostics-20180105-1521.zip
  13. That was fast, thanks a lot. My eth0 is a cheap TP-Link NIC. I'll switch to the onboard Killer E2200 NIC and have a close look in the next days. I only used the TP-link because it supports WoL. For some reason the Killer E2200 WoL function doesn't work under linux. Thank you.
  14. Hi, I've got a few times recently the Call Traces error. I've rebooted my machine a few days ago, and the error was gone. Now again Fix Common Problems plugin indicates that I have the error. Apparently I'm not able to identify what the problem is. Any help with this is appreciated. Thank you. tower-diagnostics-20170929-1835.zip
  15. Hi, I was to say exactly the ECC thing. As far as it's a Celeron CPU I'm pretty sure there is no ECC support. I will tell you my scenario. First I tried FreeNAS a few years ago. I liked it. What a nice piece of software. Deal breaker, I didn't have ECC support and some good hardware anyway. Now I choose unRAID for few important reasons. 1. don't necessary need server grade components (I have a 4790 with 12 GB RAM and it's overkill already) 2. unlike other file systems, I still get data redundancy but I can get a HDD out and read its data on other computers This second one was the thing that made me to choose unRAID. I'm sure that I can still recover some data even if my machine completely dies. You pull the HDDs out, plug them to a linux computer and there is your data. Even ZFS or conventional RAIDs do not have this advantage (except RAID1 if you are willing to trade half of storage capacity). Good luck.
  16. Thank you for your reply. As far as I can tell from your results, it looks like I was getting better results with normal USB anyway. As you can see, mine already showing the power consumption and also the remaining time on battery. I'm looking forward to find a way to stop a particular docker container if the UPS runs on battery. That's why I asked if you get new settings if you use modbus instead. Thank you again.
  17. Hi, What are the real benefits to use modbus instead of the normal USB in unRAID scenario? I tried to find some useful info about this but with no real success. I have an APC Back-UPS RS 900G and I'm looking for any kind of improvements. In my UPS section i get this data: root@Tower:~# apcaccess status APC : 001,036,0880 DATE : 2016-09-19 20:28:07 +0300 HOSTNAME : Tower VERSION : 3.14.13 (02 February 2015) slackware UPSNAME : Tower CABLE : USB Cable DRIVER : USB UPS Driver UPSMODE : Stand Alone STARTTIME: 2016-09-18 04:40:04 +0300 MODEL : Back-UPS RS 900G STATUS : ONLINE LINEV : 228.0 Volts LOADPCT : 8.0 Percent BCHARGE : 100.0 Percent TIMELEFT : 128.2 Minutes MBATTCHG : 30 Percent MINTIMEL : 10 Minutes MAXTIME : 0 Seconds SENSE : Medium LOTRANS : 176.0 Volts HITRANS : 294.0 Volts ALARMDEL : 30 Seconds BATTV : 27.3 Volts LASTXFER : Unacceptable line voltage changes NUMXFERS : 0 TONBATT : 0 Seconds CUMONBATT: 0 Seconds XOFFBATT : N/A SELFTEST : NO STATFLAG : 0x05000008 SERIALNO : 3B1608X20796 BATTDATE : 2016-02-28 NOMINV : 230 Volts NOMBATTV : 24.0 Volts NOMPOWER : 540 Watts FIRMWARE : 879.L4 .I USB FW:L4 END APC : 2016-09-19 20:28:09 +0300 Do I get more settings or more info if i use modbus instead? 18. So I've solved it finally My problem was related to the flash drive apparently. After a lot of failed attempts I've tried a different USB drive with a clean unRAID 6.2 and it worked. Formatted the original drive and tried a clean 6.2 and DIDN'T work. So I've tried the new drive withe the old 6.1.9 installation. I updated it and it worked perfectly. The original drive I don't think is damaged in some way. I put it in a Windows PC and using DISKPART i cleaned the partition table and reinitialized it. After that I copied the content from the new updated working drive so I didn't have to mess arround with replacing the key. Conclusion, I have the old drive with the new OS working just fine. Thank you guys for the support and this awesome community.
  19. OMG Thank You The "previous" trick worked. I'm Back to 6.1.9 but at least it works. What's the safest way to update actually? Late edit: OK. I've tried a few times to update again, and it just goes wrong in the same way every time. I even uninstalled all plugins. Also set the array to not start automatically. I've checked every cnfig file on the flash drive. Everything seems to be all right but after update it just fails to start properly. I don't know what to do with it. I will just stay on 6.1.9 for now. I think I had a similar issue with the 2nd beta of 6.2. That was my first try of unRAID, and it didn't work. Unfortunately I experience the same with the 6.2 stable. I'm a bit frustrated by it, but what can I do?
  20. I already did that. I've read the thread. Unfortunately with no success for me. Thank you for the quick reply. BTW, is there any way to force start the WebUI by SSH into the server?
  21. Hi, I just updated this morning, and after reboot I could only SSh in. No drives mounted, obviously no docker. Unfortunately I'm unable to find what the problem is and I really need to access my data. I tried to reboot from the SSH terminal and after that the server even didn't properly boot (I could not ping it's IP address). There is something I can do? Even if I get the USB drive in a computer to modify somethin. Unfortunately I;m so linux beginner that I cannot figure it out via SSH. I can even login as root with no password. Before update I had a password set up. Than You.
  22. I understand that it has to be slow when you copy a big chunk of small files. That works the same on any file system AFAIK. When I copy from a Mac to an AFP share starts slow even with a single large file. It does not bother me because it catches fast and works well. Last time I tried a SMB with Yosemite and it was slow. VERY SLOW. I will give it a try when I get home to see the difference between SMB and AFP with El Capitan. Late edit: So i gave it a try with two ISO files in total of 6.6 GB. I know is very far for a good test but I don't have the time or the knowledge to do a proper test. Actually is no difference between AFP and SMB in this scenario. copy to afp 01:37 copy to smb 01:35 copy from afp 01:01 copy from smb 01:04 I'm sure it happened to me a few days ago, to start with slow speeds when I was copying to AFP share. But to be honest I didn't try with SMB the same transfer. Anyway if it happens again and I can reproduce the scenario I'll keep you posted.
  23. Hi, I can confirm this scenario as well. And YES I'm using an AFP share and a gigabit connection. For some reason for any transfer it just starts slow at the beginning and gets at the normal speed after some time. I know it's well known that Macs are slow with SMB Shares but I am not familiar with AFP. I'm very new to unRAID (i have the server for one month) and also new using AFP. I'm not sure if this is a normal behavior but it also bothered me since the first transfer. Good luck.
  24. Hi guys, I'm a kind of new with unraid and linux in general. What I'm trying to do is to set up more directories for rutorrent to send the downloads in. More precisely I want to have folder from multiple user shares. For instance I have /download set up to go in /mnt/user/Media and I would like to have another download set up to /mnt/user/Data. These are different user shares and as far as I can tell it does not work for some reson. Is it possible?
