  1. As I mentioned in the message I sent you, this seems more like a problem with your setup than an actual bug and probably belongs in General Support. Maybe I will copy it there later and close this.

Put your flash drive in your PC and let it checkdisk. While there make a backup. The config folder is all you need to get your configuration going again with a new install if necessary.

Make sure your flash drive is named UNRAID, all caps.

If booting UEFI, there is a folder on flash that must be named EFI

If booting legacy, that same folder must be named EFI-

    Boot from a USB2 port.

The mover itself however does start, but of course not the .old one....

Are you using a plugin for mover? If so, you should post on the support thread for the plugin. You can go directly to the correct support thread for any of your plugins by clicking on its Support Link on the Plugins page of your Unraid webUI.

  3. @workermaster

Some other things I noticed in those last diagnostics, maybe unrelated to crash but need attention.

    Corrupt docker.img:

Aug 30 12:41:24 Tower kernel: BTRFS warning (device loop2): csum failed root 657 ino 4238 off 466944 csum 0x9024aef9 expected csum 0xf9f3399a mirror 1
    Aug 30 12:41:24 Tower kernel: BTRFS error (device loop2): bdev /dev/loop2 errs: wr 0, rd 0, flush 0, corrupt 25, gen 0

Why do you have 50G docker.img anyway? 20G is usually more than enough. Have you had problems filling it? Making it larger won't help.

Possibly corrupt cache also, since your user shares are broken. These are almost certainly the reason for

My dockers have suddenly stopped working. I can stop them but not start them again. If I do then i get "Server error".

The same goes for my virtual machines. I have uploaded the logfiles here. I do not know if this is related to the crashing problems above.

Or maybe corruption on some other disk, since many of them are very full, and you don't have Minimum Free set for any of your shares or for cache.

Hi Guys - I'm missing some space on an external SSD mounted with Unassigned devices.

I have a 1TB SSD on which 1 have 2 raw image files totalling 540GB.

I am on the RC1 and it reporting a utilisation of 842GB and filling up.

The only thing I can think of is that I have a VM Backup plugin which takes periodic backup of the 2 imp files to the array and is somehow responsible for the increased size.

    Appreciate any help !

You don't mention how (or provide any evidence that) this is related to this release.

Probably related to copying sparse vdisk. For example:

    https://forums.unraid.net/topic/80099-moving-vm-from-array-to-unassigned-ssd/

You should post a new thread in General Support.

  5. From the release thread:

    Quote

The new ipvlan mode is introduced to battle the crashes some people experience when using macvlan mode. If that is your case, change to ipvlan mode and test. Changing of mode does not require to reconfigure anything on Docker level, internally everything is being taken care off.

  6. In that other thread, I suggested trying a USB2 port. You replied that you had tried other ports, but you didn't specifically say you tried a USB2 port. Did you try a USB2 port? Sometimes recent motherboards won't expose the USB2 ports but they probably exist on a header on the motherboard.

I also explained the folder naming for UEFI vs Legacy. Did you make sure that matched?

How did you create the flash drive? Have you tried the Manual method:
