I've disabled ipv6. 192.168.22.90 and unraid.local work but unraid.bean.local still does not work. I'd like to not use "unraid.local" since AFAIK mDNS does not work over VPN with different subnets. I'm using pfSense and have a host override for unraid since it's a static IP. nslookup resolves it correctly on my Mac.

I changed the AutoMounter host from unraid.bean.local to 192.168.22.90 and that worked. Why would it not work using the fq host name?

You have to click the unlock button at the top.

The checksums are stored as part of the extended attributes for the file they relate to.
I meant, where does My Servers store the flash backup files before they get uploaded?
-
@ljm42 Could the File Integrity plug-in cause problems with the My Servers flash backup? Where does it store the files locally so I could exclude it from integrity checking?
-
Came back from our weekend camping trip and it's started again.
-
I'm not sure it will be useful now. I've since rebooted and re-enabled flash backups and everything seems to be going ok.

@GrimD My Unraid flash drive is MBR formatted and UEFI boots just fine.
-
@GrimD You shouldn't need to have a GPT partitioned device for it to boot without CSM as long as the "efi" directory exists.

It's not the system that can't see it, it's whatever script limetech coded that can't "see" it.
Is your flash drive plugged into a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port? I know people have had issues with Unraid booting when their flash drive is in a USB 3.0 port. Putting it in a USB 2.0 port is ideal.
-
Does it make a difference if your Unraid flash drive is in a USB 2.0 port?
-
It appears your flash drive is plugged into a USB 3.0 port. It is advisable to have it plugged into a 2.0 port.

Changed Status to Closed

I'm closing this. Apparently this is a known bug between the Guacamole server and libssh2.

@tantris My board is ASUS, YMMV. 🤷♂️

@ljm42 What video card is set to be primary in your BIOS? If the boot screen shows on the video card you intend to pass through it’s not going to work no matter how vfio is set. On my motherboard I must have a monitor connected to the integrated video for it to work as primary. Otherwise it automatically boots to my vm’s video card and fails to pass through even though the integrated is set as primary.

I was unable to find such an option in my BIOS. I'm running an Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS.
I found something about enabling CSM that switches the primary GPU (no idea why).
I'll give that a try and keep you posted.
It might be located under the PCI Express settings.
-
@DaNoob Which video card do you have set in the BIOS to be your primary? You probably need to make sure the 1650 is set to be the primary video card if not already set.

Changed Status to Solved

@JorgeB Finally got a chance to test this out. I can say that this fixed it. We have an electrician out working and it shut down due to the UPS switching to battery. It booted back up without starting a parity check.

@JorgeB I'll give that a try. Not sure when I'll be rebooting next. Not usually for months.

How are you trying to pass it through? If it’s a PCIe NVME drive you can pass it through like any other PCIe device and not as a drive.
Constant database corruptions with containers like Plex and more specifically Sonarr
in Stable Releases

I was having this same issue with Plex and Arr apps. My solution was to point each of their config folders directly toward my /mnt/cache/appdata mount rather than going through /mnt/user/appdata. Since I did that I’ve not had a single problem with SQLite database corruption. For whatever reason when going through the /mnt/user filesystem there’s something that causes SQLite corruption.
