I just checked my unraid network setting and can confirm that DNS is pointing to my router.
Any settings changes in Unraid like switching Docker from macvlan to ipvlan?

I changed the connection info to point to the IP and not the hostname.. and it connected fine. But the hostname used to work just fine and I didn't change anything that I know of?
Has anything on your network changed in those couple weeks? Is the DNS server setting on your Unraid server correct (eg pointing to your router rather than ISP or other public DNS server)?

Any news for this update?? I'm running 1.5.4 version, and can't activate SFTP with RDP... Does a downgrade will resolve this problem until next release?
1.5.5RC1 just got released. I’ll update as soon as the final version gets released.

If you’re using an external instance of MariaDB or MySQL you will need to manually create the database and tables using the provided schema sql scripts. Automatic database creation and updating are currently only supported for the container that includes MariaDB.

Thanks @Taddeusz, no hurry it's really a minor inconvenience. In this scenario where would be the correct location to add the plugin? As I mentioned if I add it to the extensions folder in the volume on appdata it is removed on container startup with a message about updating the plugin. Should I instead place it in the '/opt/guacamole/quickconnect/' location so the startup process finds it there? In this case it would disappear on container updates. I'm more than happy to just put the jar files in a mounted volume myself, the problem is more that during startup the container seems to remove any manually added extensions.
I think to prevent it from being remove you should rename the file so that "quickconnect" is not there. You could put a dash in the middle like "quick-connect". Otherwise no matter how you have "OPT_QUICKCONNECT" set it will be removed when the container is started.
-
@Wild9 Sorry it's taken so long for me to get back. COVID hit my family in the middle of getting a new job. I will work to put the Quick Connect plugin back in. Since I build from the pre-built containers I can't control which plugins get included. But since it was originally in I will put it in.
That being said, if there are ever any plugins you want you are always free to go download them from guacamole.apache.org. For example, I'm never going to include the vault or history recording storage plugins but they may be downloaded and the JAR file copied into the proper folder. This can also be done with the Quick Connect plugin until I can get the changes made.

Do you have SFTP enabled for your connections? If so, it looks like this is going to be fixed in 1.5.5.

@sentient-russ Is guacd staying running with 1.5.4?
-
@sentient-russ Also, does it still work on 1.5.3?
-
@sentient-russ I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m not having any issues on my end. If you try upgrading again try also looking at the tomcat logs (catalina.out file).
-
I've pushed 1.5.4 to be latest.

Host access to custom networks has been enabled. Are there any other little options I should be looking for?
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkWhat's your network type set to? Mine is set to Bridge and I have no trouble connecting to VM's.

Guacamole works great when I use it to connect to other computers on my network, but when I attempt to connect to a VM on Unraid it wont connect. I've created a custom docker network, and enabled host access. That and leaving the network as bridge I have the same results. Any help is appreciated.
I think you need to have "Host access to custom networks" enabled in Docker settings.

@nik82 Go into the log folder and look at your tomcat.log file and then the log/tomcat folder and look at the catalina.out file.

I left out details. This was a manual move. It never moves any files with Mover Tuning installed. It just sits there and gets stuck with the mover running until I reboot which ends up forcing an array unmount and results in a forced parity check.
I uninstalled Mover Tuning and it's now moving files after a manual move started.
-
I get a bunch of this in my log and then mover gets stuck running:

You’ll need to hit ctrl+alt+shift and paste it in the clipboard area.

Hi guys,
So I just installed this and I have it working to Windows Server 2019 and SSH to unRAID. However I can not get this working to my (non-domain) Windows 11 PC. Has anyone got this working to Windows 11? I can RDP from a different windows machine, but guacamole just nevers does it.
EDIT - Just to say that i have Security mode set to NLA and Ignore Server Certificate checked.
Are you using a Microsoft account? Are you using Windows Hello to login even with just a pin? If so you have to login with your password at least once so that it’s cached. After that RDP should work fine and you can go back to using Windows Hello to login locally.
-
I noticed recently that my MKVCleaver container continuously "idles" at 1-2% CPU. Not much but my other similar containers all idle at less than 1% CPU.
-
I don't want to make OPT_MYSQL default to "Y" if it's just not set since people who aren't running Unraid might not have all the environment variables set like in the Unraid template.
-
I guess I should update the Repository Overview on Docker Hub because just that command will not successfully launch it.
-
@sectional-drawer2033 If you're using the container with MariaDB included you need to set OPT_MYSQL to "Y". Or choose which variables you need to set to "Y" depending on your own personal choices.

Hello, I have been trying to set the container up, but the default "guacadmin guacadmin" username and password returns "Invalid Login". I have tried removing the created config folders, pulling the image again, running with and without compose and with and without my reverse proxy, but nothing changes. Only relevant or worrying line I found in the logs (catalina.out) is:
18:49:13.063 [http-nio-8080-exec-1] WARN o.a.g.r.auth.AuthenticationService - Authentication attempt from 172.16.10.60 for user "guacadmin" failed.
To clarify, these are the steps to reproduce:
Run "docker run -d -v ./config:/config -p 8080:8080 jasonbean/guacamole"
Open http://ip:8080
Enter "guacadmin" as both username and password
Get "Invalid Login"
Am I missing some step? What other logs should I check?
I don't know if this is useful info, but entering "USERNAME PASSWORD" correctly brings up the remote desktop screen with the "The remote desktop server is currently unreachable" message. I am also using latest Debian stable with docker updated.
Thanks in advance
This container was built for Unraid but it will run in other environments. Since you're not running on Unraid you probably need to set PUID and PGID to match your user in your Debian installation.

Sorry, tried to get to it this past weekend but had other stuff that took precedence.
