  1. Anyone a idea or a working configuration (NFS - MacOS) to share?
  2. Hello, I have setup a few NFS shares and tried a lot of configurations but i have this annoying problem. Every time I open(no modification) or quick view(with space) a file on the nfs share, the "date modified" date from this file gets updated! Without saving anything! This is super annoying. With SMB this problem does not exit.. Does anybody else have this problem? I use AutoMounter to mount the shares (But also tried Finder and manual mount..). Tried also all share configs even Public.. And now I configured it like in this thread. Thank you for your help. Hans
  3. Hello, I have a problem mounting my DVD drive in a win10 VM. I get always this error when trying to start the VM: lsscsi: [9:0:0:0]cd/dvd HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH16NS55 1.03 /dev/sr0 Added in VM-XML: <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='scsi' managed='no' rawio='yes'> <source> <adapter name='scsi_host9'/> <address bus='0' target='0' unit='0'/> </source> <readonly/> <address type='drive' controller='0' bus='0' target='0' unit='0'/> </hostdev> When I try to use it in Docker, everything works fine! (Docker container with the drive mounted turned of while starting VM...) Would be very cool if someone could help me Thanks!
  4. This is no UNRAID error. Normaly projects are stored only local. But its possible to use it directly from the server if the drives and connection are fast enough. There are some guides to show how its done. I have tried it by my self, but the performance for me was bad. For now i'm using unraid for the video files (In the final cut settings you can choose "leave video files on original destination" or something like this...) For cache and rendering I use a local SSD in my machine... Then I only have to import/link the files, which are on unraid, to my project...
  5. I have a Idea because i saw something similar. No solution, but maybe one step forward. 1. Install the stats plugin (if you don't have it yet). 2. Then reboot and directly open the stats page, switch to system stats and change the time to 10 minutes or so. 3. After that, start the copy like before. Maybe its fast as long the data goes into the cached RAM. And as soon you RAM is full (only the cached RAM is full) the transnsfer speed drops. Watch for the speed drop and make a screenshot from the stats. Only a idea...
  6. Hi, is there a way that the plugin will show network stats of all interfaces parallel? That would be awesome!
  7. I have one more question. I have a very important file (VM Image). When I try to move it, always this error show up: And in the log: Is it possible to rescue the file? I thought I have redundancy!? Not at a filesystem corruption?
  8. Ok thank you so much for you fast answers!! So after saving hopefully every file :), format the cache drives und create a "new pool"?
  9. After I turned if Docker and VMs, the Array stated now completely. But I still can't access some files in the cache I wanted to move a vdisk image into the array, than those 3 last log messages came up: tower-diagnostics-20190920-1140.zip
  10. Yes thank you thats it! But now I have another problem. I changed a share from "cache only" to "cache yes" and run the mover to get free space. but now the log is spamming messages like this: So ich changed it back... The cache pool is in in read only mode now?! Even after a reboot Also the array don't want to start correctly. WebGUI show "Array starting . Starting services..." Docker and VMs aren't online. I can only access shares that aren't cached/cache related. tower-diagnostics-20190920-1103.zip
  11. oh sorry, attached tower-diagnostics-20190919-1929.zip
  12. Hi, I have a big problem. My VMs pauses under heavy load or data transfers. I read in another thread that this is possible when the cache drive is full. But my cache drives have 60gb left. I have 2x240GB (Pool of two devices). I checked the folder via terminal: root@Tower:/mnt# du -sh cache/ 151G cache/ And this shows always up in the log when the VMs are pausing: Sep 19 20:56:46 Tower kernel: loop: Write error at byte offset 456073216, length 4096. Sep 19 20:56:46 Tower kernel: print_req_error: I/O error, dev loop2, sector 890752 Sep 19 20:56:46 Tower kernel: BTRFS error (device loop2): bdev /dev/loop2 errs: wr 31, rd 0, flush 0, corrupt 0, gen 0 Sep 19 20:56:46 Tower kernel: loop: Write error at byte offset 457043968, length 4096. 13. After the update I couldn't connect to the webUI, even in GUI mode I had no connection to localhost! But after this reinstall it worked
  14. 1. You have to login into your UNRAID system over SSH. 2. Now execute docker ps 3. Search the line for your Homebridge instance CONTAINER ID IMAGE COMMAND CREATED STATUS PORTS NAMES 111111111111 name/homebridge-docker "/root/run.sh" 11 weeks ago Up 3 weeks homebridge Look after the name, normally its just "homebridge" 4. Now you know the name, you can skip these pars the next time. Now you can execute: docker exec -i -t YOUR-NAME /bin/bash in my example: docker exec -i -t homebridge /bin/bash Now your are in you Docker Container. You can now execute the install commands from your guide. That only works if your docker container is running! If you have some trouble to start your container, just save the config.json file and clear it. Now you can start, after your installation paste your saved config in the file again... Hope could help
  15. Is it really randomly, or only after you update the docker container or something like that?
