  1. Swapped from a HP H220 HBA / LSI 9205-8i to Intel RS2WC080 HBA and has been working fine since then Monitoring power usage via an Aqara Zigbee smart plug and Home Assistant
  2. Was pulling my hair out over this issue, trying everything to isolate what was spinning up array. Ended up replacing my HBA and it’s been working fine ever since. more info here, hopefully helps someone
  3. New HBA card arrived and installed, looks like drives are staying spun down, Glad to finally have this issue sorted!
  4. Believe the “some_random_number.tmp” files are from “CA Fix common problems” Frustrating thing is same HBA was working fine for spin-down on v6.8… My drives stay spun down for a while but will wake up around every hour, can see clearly via power monitoring Have run all sorts of tests prior to Odering a new HBA, disabled SMB / NFS, new flash drive with clean OS install, disabled VM & docker etc…
  5. Interesting, my current HBA card is an HP H220, maybe it is an issue with HP cards? I have a new HBA (Intel RS2WC080 - 9240-8i) in the post now will update when it arrives and have swapped it out
  6. I'm having the same issue, on v6.8 spin down was working fine but ever since upgrading I've had an issue, Drive wake up seams to be every hour, Noticed quite a few similar bug reports on the forums, most seam to report solving the issue by identifying something accessing the array, however not 100% convinced there isn't a bug. I'm currently debugging on a clean install of 6.10.3 & this is still an issue
  7. In order to take advantage of linuxserver.io reverse proxy DNS container names i understand you need to create a 'user defined docker network' using docker network create <NETWORK_NAME> https://blog.linuxserver.io/2017/10/17/using-docker-networks-for-better-inter-container-communication/' However i also want my docker containers to each have their own IP Address and VLAN, I am having issues getting both to work. Is this possible or can the user defined docker network only be used in bridge mode? Thanks
  8. There is this app I want to deploy https://hub.docker.com/r/bergerx/babybuddy What needs to be done to make it compatible with unRAID? 0 experience with Docker outside of the unRAID UI but am keen to learn, and on the surface this looks like it should be achievable?? The Dockerfile looks to contain two "images"? a db and front end, Would i need to fork the source code, and create a separate docker image for each db and front end? if so how would i go about doing this? Thanks
  9. I have Emby setup behind nginx and working both on internal and external network on both Android and ios I'm having trouble adding the server to android devices (android app) outside of local network. web broswer traffic works fine internal and external When you add the server are you putting port 443 as the port? and the host as https://my.subdomain/emby my proxy and default conf below Thanks! Proxy.conf client_max_body_size 10m; client_body_buffer_size 128k; #Timeout if the real server is dead proxy_next_upstream error timeout invalid_header http_500 http_502 http_503; # Advanced Proxy Config send_timeout 5m; proxy_read_timeout 240; proxy_send_timeout 240; proxy_connect_timeout 240; # Basic Proxy Config proxy_set_header Host $host:$server_port; proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Proto https; proxy_redirect http:// $scheme://; proxy_http_version 1.1; proxy_set_header Connection ""; proxy_cache_bypass $cookie_session; proxy_no_cache $cookie_session; proxy_buffers 32 4k; location /emby { include /config/nginx/proxy.conf; proxy_pass http://192.168.#.#:8096/emby;
  10. Quick question about reverse proxying Is it necessary? or can you just enter the port the app is running on? For instance if i imported the cert files to CP and port forwarded 5050 would this work? https://mysubdomain.duckdns.org:5050
  11. I'm fairly new to UnRaid but loving it so far. Now that my machine is up and running I'm thinking about security. OpenVPN server for accessing sonarr, couch potato etc for myself HTTPS encryption on Emby and Webserver as they are public facing. I believe I can setup OpenVPN on my DD-WRT router but I need a certificate. Likewise for the Emby Docker I also need a certificate to use HTTPS. This is where I get stuck. Letsencrypt is the obvious choice for auto renewing but now I see they are directing people to cetbot? Where do I go from here? Is there a docker image that will generate the ssl certificate that I can then tell the other Dockers to use? Or do I need to run a VM and run the certbot script there to generate a certificate? Any advice / help welcome Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
