  1. Hey! Can anyone give me an idea why my logs within the container are showing this?
  2. Does anyone know how to forward the port 21 on shinobi container so my reolink cameras can ftp trigger event recordings? Apparently shinobi comes pre-loaded with port 21 open but its not actually open via the container? (if that makes sense) reolink says failure to connect and filezilla seems to constantly get connection refused errors. the instructions for enabling FTP are here and they are clear as day but i believe the port is closed container/docker side?
  3. I was just thinking this, some sort of message - "you missed out the recipient" Instead of being blank or failed (Fail usually gives bad credentials within sys log) would be good if that was projected into the GUI Thanks again Frank 👍
  4. ahhhhhhh........ so sorry for wasting your time, i feel like a right crayon! Thanks
  5. Hi, Having problems with my Unraid system, it seems that the SMTP Notifications are completely ruined on my Unraid OS ? Been using Unraid for over 5 years and this is the first time SMTP is giving me problems. I have created a new Gmail account, allowed full access using allow less secure apps... even tried the App password for gmail to try and auth. Nothing..... Checking the log files within OS i get after hitting test i receive: Jan 21 22:01:37 NYX ool www[23533]: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/scripts/notify 'smtp-init' Jan 21 22:01:46 NYX ool www[24606]: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/scripts/notify 'smtp-init' Jan 21 22:01:55 NYX ool www[23533]: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/scripts/notify 'smtp-init' Jan 21 22:02:11 NYX ool www[23533]: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/scripts/notify 'smtp-init' Here is my Screen shot of the SMTP Form: Checked email system including spam, tried incorporating other recipients and testing different other servers (example - Live/outlook) Nothing! - The plan was to install Bitwarden following spaceinvaders tutorial but because the smtp on Unraid is acting up, i am also having issues with Bitwarden sending out invites using the smtp - i assumed it was some sort of dynamix plugin so i deleted these, however still the same. Seems to be some sort of internal smtp settings that are causing these problems for Unraid and bitwarden but how do i diagnose this? Cant seem to find the reset button for the OS I have looked through every SMTP related thread on the forum and cant find anything relating apart from this thread.... 6. Never-mind - errors are coming back - New HDD going in now! UPDATE - New drive in. rebuilding array - party data build is at full 145MB/s - 5Hrs40mins
  7. John, Zip attached - Ordered a new drive yesterday, its sat on the table downstairs but i had 1 more idea before i install - i hear a lot about cable problems and seeing the errors hit me quickly, i took the array off-line disconnected and re-connected the SATA cables. I have booted the system and its not coming up with any errors, i can't complete a Smart test though as it seems to still be in error mode even though the logs show its working fine - Read rates are high again and i'm not hanging anymore? I have checked the Raw values over the last 30 mins - transferring and sending data across different disks, its still the same. Is there a more complex way of testing the disk now its working again, or resetting the smart test error? Thanks nyx-diagnostics-20191109-1402.zip
  8. @itimpi Thanks, pretty much what you explained above started to happen. Logs for the Disk was spewing out errors - The speed of the parity was clearly affected by these read errors so i'm assuming this may not be set as the correcting check. Hope not 🤞 Creating RMA with WD considering 8 months old. Will add a second parity - Paranoia kicking in! Image of disk errors after 0.1% of parity check 😨, been saying 4 errors last 24 hours. Was hoping it may be a data cable if continuous error reads all of a sudden I've stopped the Array until the new HDD arrives tomorrow.
  9. Thanks John, Pretty much came to the conclusion it was screaming. only 8 months Old WD Red as well. Rest of disks attached.... I think Disc 1 is getting some side pains as well?? Not sure Parity Check is also running incredibly slow 1.5MB/s - 33 days to complete.... smart.zip
  10. Hi Chaps, been running some 4 x 3tb reds for 4-5 years now on Unraid - Tried to find out the incredibly slow read rates recently (kept hanging on VM) Found out SMART test says your screwed in 24hrs - save data! Any knowledgeable guys hanging around they could take a glance over my disk report attached and confirm im in for s **t storm? quick trip to amazon i think..... Thanks WDC_WD30EFRX-68N32N0_WD-WCC7K3ZJ05RV-20191106-2316.txt
  11. Sorted... me just being stupid. Chbmb config is working just fine, i had 2 x Htpasswd activated... One through Letsencrypt config and the other through Heimdall config as well....🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  12. Hey All, I have Htpasswd enabled on lets encrypt to Auth anyone visiting from outside my network however, everytime im home on my own LAN... i dont want to keep typing in the password. Is there a way to white list LAN IP by setting allow/deny in the Config file? Anyone have their config to hand they could share if thay have this working? I tried Chbmb config but this still requests auth when logging in from 192.168.0.10 Thanks
  13. Can confirm this works a treat! Cheers! Anyone know how i can set local scan/container scan of file system used by nextcloud to update any files i have manually added into smb/explorer? video file added into share - nextcloud web gui shows what i have added
  14. NEVERMIND...... sorted it 😉 I was placing <username> (Whatever you want it to be) which is right but i kept adding the < > - fixed it by removing them so it looks like this..... docker exec -it heimdall htpasswd -c /config/nginx/.htpasswd username At least its here for anyone else or if i need it in the future when the server blows up!
  15. hi chbmb Yes, just tried it, still the same.... seems to be that unexpected token 'newline'
