  1. It was something "Stupid". The data of course was persistent and that was using the original wrong password (not complex enough) - deleted the data started it up again and "Bingo" I could log in. Now to get the Service Agent running..
  2. 1. I've not had any success with any passwords I've removed the container and started afresh - the password was setup when I set the container up as you can see from the the initial setup command (1st image) - 2. The MS website quote 3 from 4 UC, LC, Numbers or special chars. I'm probably doing something wrong - but have tried most suggestions I've found.
  3. I've been trying to get this running for a couple of days. I've created the container and it appears to running. When I run docker pas -a I get this:- but when I try to log in with SA and the password with this:- Anyone see any blindingly obvious mistakes? SQL Error log reports:-
  4. I had the same problem, flashed with the 20.00.07.00 firmware and the errors have stopped. Came across this thread after, unfortunately, changing cables and PSU.
  5. Noticed that the parity drive has disabled, The SMART info has ;- "exiting. To continue, add one or more '-T permissive' options." In terminal, smartctl -T permissive -s on /dev/sdd smartctl 7.0 2018-12-30 r4883 [x86_64-linux-4.19.56-Unraid] (local build) Copyright (C) 2002-18, Bruce Allen, Christian Franke, www.smartmontools.org Short INQUIRY response, skip product id === START OF ENABLE/DISABLE COMMANDS SECTION === unable to fetch IEC (SMART) mode page [scsi response fails sanity test] A mandatory SMART command failed: exiting. Is it likely that the disk has gone and "run up the curtain and joined the choir eternal"?
  6. I've bought a backup! Not Microserver as they are still making silly money (>£300), but a Dell T1600 (<£60). I've moved all the disks around so that the originals are back in the Microserver and the "new" ones are in the T1600. I have a feeling that it was a Windows 10 VM that seems to be misbehaving but still have proof.
  7. Good suggestions, I forget about the Diagnostics - shouldn't really, - I 'll make a note on the servers to remind me. Checked all the connections - could have been that as you have to remove the motherboard tray and disconnect everything to change the CPU. The temperatures have been fine not a lot higher than stock at 38-50C - The server controls its fan quite well. Memtest the RAM and was fine. I did the other things as well. W
  8. It's more of an enquiry as I seem to have fixed the problem but would like to know if anyone else has seen anything. Yesterday, the web gui went very slow and I noticed that two of the drive (of 3 data) had dropped out of the array and appeared in the unassigned devices (they did seem to have any errors - but as the GUI was running so slow it was hard to check. I panicked a bit here, restarted the server and it came up exactly the same way, Turned it off and removed all 4 drives and made sure that they were all correctly seated, on restart only two drives were visible. Really panicked now as I didn't know ( and still don't) whether it was a drive problem, a SATA interface problem, or an unraid problem. I stripped a spare PC down added the four drives + cache drives + USB and it came up first time - array was fine (VMs didn't work because of change pf hardware), closed it down, moved all the drives back to server - same result as before two drives missing. I now assuming it's the HP Server that's gone wonky. I download a trial version of unraid (that's a lot easier than it used to be ) and populated the HP with some of my older retired drives and what do you know, it works fine. I know have a little less than 30 days to do some testing to see if the HP server does it again. Has anyone any ideas what could have caused the problem, the HP Server has been running well for the past 4 years, athough I have just upgraded the RAM (16GiB) and processor (e31260L)?
  9. Sophos are dropping support for the Endpoint protection at the end of 2019. Unfortunately, if you use the "Home" version there is no direct replacement. You can register for the "Home" cloud antivirius which is limited to 5 pcs (for free) and does the same thing but it's not monitored by the UTM.
  10. How are you trying to access the WEB GUI? - as you have changed the the IP to static (was it the same IP address you had before?) the computers you are using might be looking in the wrong place. Have you tried accessing the WEB Gui with the new static IP?
  11. Reviewing your post history I don't see where you got that impression, but sorry. I think this forum is one of the best features of unRAID. Never said it wasn't helpful. But when you've been messing about with something that's not behaving as it should- it a bit a disheartening when you get unhelpful posts.
  12. Is it surprising ? Perhaps you could explain why instead of giving an unhelpful reply. I have two other Linux devices (Nas and the foxstat box that can do the same thing) and they don't slow down when a SMB connected device is turned off. So to me it is surprising. As a newbie to Unraid I find the whole forum a bit unfriendly in its attitude.
  13. When I have the plugin installed and two SMB mounts the web gui for the "Main" screen takes ages (minutes) to stop loading - you can't change tabs until it finished loading and the buttons on the Main screen also are prevented from working. Only seems to be a problem if the device linked by SMB are switched off (a NAS, a FOXSAT-HDR - I don't want these devices switched on all the time they wake themselves up and switch off at certain times.). Problem "goes away" when I uninstall the plugin. I don't now if this is a problem with how I was using the plugin or a problem with the plugin. Other than this it seem to work quite well - but the lag on the Main screen was too frustrating.
  14. Stopped the Plex docker and the diagnostics download as well.
