  1. Or I just dont have a clue. Got several errors on a disk that worked as a parity disk. I have only three disk in my system. One for data storage and one for parity. They are identical. And one cache disk (SSD) I unmounted the disk and tried the preclear plugin. Did not work since it did not have a proper unraid MBR signature (or something like that) After trying for some time I gave up and thought I just disconnect it and try to test it on another machine running windows since i dont have a clue about linux. It also states that is has no file system Unfortunately something must have happen because now I can not disconnect it without getting an error that disk 2 is missing!? This disk has never been a apart of the array so how it suddenly has decided to be disk 2 I do not understand. If I set it to no device, it comes up that disk is missing and I can not start the array Any suggestions?
  2. This one? MAINSTATION-preclear.disk-20181013-1743.zip Hi gfjardim, did you manage to take a look at it?
  3. Hi I have a disk that comes up with errors. Have tried to preclear it but every time it comes up with a message that my drive doesnt have a valid unraid mbr signature. Any ideas on what is wrong with it? I bought two brand new disks and have only used them for about 6 months, when one of them failed. Here is the log from my first try but nothing from my last tries.: Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3: SATA max UDMA/133 abar m2048@0xf0000000 port 0xf0000200 irq 26 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300) Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3.00: ATA-10: ST4000DM004-2CV104, ZFN0GAQG, 0001, max UDMA/133 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3.00: 7814037168 sectors, multi 0: LBA48 NCQ (depth 32), AA Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: ata3.00: configured for UDMA/133 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] 7814037168 512-byte logical blocks: (4.00 TB/3.64 TiB) Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] 4096-byte physical blocks Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] Write Protect is off Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] Mode Sense: 00 3a 00 00 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] Write cache: enabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sdc: sdc1 Oct 8 23:14:06 MainStation kernel: sd 3:0:0:0: [sdc] Attached SCSI disk Oct 8 23:14:16 MainStation emhttpd: ST4000DM004-2CV104_ZFN0GAQG (sdc) 512 7814037168
  4. hmm.....ok. I can check with google wifi and see if they can help out with the issue.
  5. Here is my config file: 'memcache.local' => '\\OC\\Memcache\\APCu', 'datadirectory' => '/data', 'instanceid' => 'ocdom0nknjo5', 'passwordsalt' => 'ybg+QnhDLXBpv3kKaOPC9FdigKuFtzJ', 'secret' => 'YSIrP185VwVGF1KdZZWFgtAq07KfE0pi7kRcQOwFLfvzuy7N4', 'trusted_domains' => array ( 0 => '192.168.0.100', 1 => 'xxxxxxx.ddns.net', ), 'overwrite.cli.url' => 'https://192.168.0.100', 'dbtype' => 'mysql', 'version' => '13.0.6.1', 'dbname' => 'nextcloud', 'dbhost' => '192.168.0.100:3306', 'dbport' => '', 'dbtableprefix' => 'oc_', 'dbuser' => 'MrVilla', 'dbpassword' => 'xxxxxxxx', 'installed' => true, 'maintenance' => false, 'loglevel' => 2, 'updater.secret' => '$2y$10$zWf8v4qeLKbY/HhbrlNNf.DmA6dW1IgMbx0.X04VgY3IdsWFo.54CW', 'theme' => '',
  6. It has been like this for months. Not sure when it actually started, but I guess it was after i moved to a new house. Only thing I can honestly say I have changed is the ISP and the router but everything else is working fine.
  7. Sounds good. Will check it out. One question. My nextcloud is working ok except one thing. I can not access the webui locally. Any ideas? It just times out.
  8. I was actually referring to the nextcloud-backup folder I create during the upgrade. I was not aware of the plugin that you have mentioned but will install it and see if I can figure it out.
  9. Yeah I know but still...:) One question. If everything was messed up. could I just delete the new nextcloud folder, rename the backup folder and restart nextcloud and be back at the beginning?
  10. Guess you ment this: you need to downgrade your install change the respository yo "linuxserver/nextcloud:140" and it will downgrade it. then you will need to manually upgrade next cloud to v13 and then remove the ":140" part and upgrade and you will be fine. Okay. I have done everything. I was first a bit unsure what was meant by changing the respository and how to get the 13 version in there. Could it be as easy as just to change 12 to 13, and it was;) So now I have also updated it to 13.0.6 through the web and it went like a charm. Sometimes things are as easy as it seems. Just was a bit afraid of ruining my whole setup.
  11. Hi. I am also getting the "This version of Nextcloud is not compatible with PHP 7.2.You are currently running 7.2.8." message How do i see what version of nextcloud I am running? The guide on page 1 says grab the latest nextcloud release. How do I find this?
  12. Hi. Have tried searching but so far no luck. I have Nextcloud app on my Samsung S7 and it is working fine but I can not get it do autoupload. Any suggestions? I do not get any errors. I have enabled autoupload but nothing happends. There is nothing in the activity or in the upload section. In my mobile it shows that it will upload to a folder that first didnt exist. I made the folder but it still doesnt help. I have enabled that it shall create subfolders.
  13. Tried to install letsencrypt in order to get rid of the pesky warnings but the nextcloud did not want to start wen done. Since I was afraid to mess to much with it I just removed letsencrypt and set the config file in nextcloud back to original form. Everything is working again now. But I would like to ask a few questions before I try again. I hate half guessing while doing something like this. At the moment I'm running Nextcloud on 443. My config file looks like this: <?php $CONFIG = array ( 'memcache.local' => '\\OC\\Memcache\\APCu', 'datadirectory' => '/data', 'instanceid' => 'ocdom0nknjo5', 'passwordsalt' => 'ssdsdsdsd', 'secret' => 'sdsddssd', 'trusted_domains' => array ( 0 => '192.168.0.100', 1 => 'mydomain', ), 'overwrite.cli.url' => 'https://192.168.0.100', 'dbtype' => 'mysql', 'version' => '12.0.4.3', 'dbname' => 'nextcloud', 'dbhost' => '192.168.0.100:3306', 'dbport' => '', 'dbtableprefix' => 'oc_', 'dbuser' => 'MrVilla', 'dbpassword' => 'mypassword', 'installed' => true, ); I install letsencrypt on 442 I make a nextcloud file in letsencrypt to this: server { listen 442 ssl; server_name mydomain; root /config/www; index index.html index.htm index.php; ###SSL Certificates ssl_certificate /config/keys/letsencrypt/fullchain.pem; ssl_certificate_key /config/keys/letsencrypt/privkey.pem; ###Diffie–Hellman key exchange ### ssl_dhparam /config/nginx/dhparams.pem; ###SSL Ciphers ssl_ciphers 'ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:DHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256:DHE-DSS-AES128-GCM-SHA256:kEDH+AESGCM:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA256:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-SHA256:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-SHA:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA384:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-SHA384:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-SHA:DHE-RSA-AES128-SHA256:DHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:DHE-DSS-AES128-SHA256:DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA256:DHE-DSS-AES256-SHA:DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:AES128-GCM-SHA256:AES256-GCM-SHA384:AES128-SHA256:AES256-SHA256:AES128-SHA:AES256-SHA:AES:CAMELLIA:DES-CBC3-SHA:!aNULL:!eNULL:!EXPORT:!DES:!RC4:!MD5:!PSK:!aECDH:!EDH-DSS-DES-CBC3-SHA:!EDH-RSA-DES-CBC3-SHA:!KRB5-DES-CBC3-SHA'; ###Extra Settings### ssl_prefer_server_ciphers on; ssl_session_cache shared:SSL:10m; ### Add HTTP Strict Transport Security ### add_header Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=63072000; includeSubdomains"; add_header Front-End-Https on; client_max_body_size 0; location / { proxy_pass https://192.168.0.100:442/; (I have here changed the IP to my server IP. 192.168.0.1 is my routers IP. proxy_max_temp_file_size 2048m; include /config/nginx/proxy.conf; } } I change nextcloud config to this: <?php $CONFIG = array ( 'memcache.local' => '\\OC\\Memcache\\APCu', 'datadirectory' => '/data', 'instanceid' => 'ocdom0nknjo5', 'passwordsalt' => 'ssdsdsdsd', 'secret' => 'sdsddssd', 'trusted_domains' => array ( 0 => '192.168.0.100:442', (still using mye servers IP) 1 => 'mydomain', ), 'overwrite.cli.url' => 'https://mydomain' , 'overwritehost' => 'mydomain' , 'overwriteprotocol' => 'https' , 'dbtype' => 'mysql', 'version' => '12.0.4.3', 'dbname' => 'nextcloud', 'dbhost' => '192.168.0.100:3306', 'dbport' => '', 'dbtableprefix' => 'oc_', 'dbuser' => 'MrVilla', 'dbpassword' => 'mypassword', 'installed' => true, ); Am i getting something right here? EDIT: Messed up on the ports. Corrected now. Unraid SSL is moved to 444
  14. I read through the release notes and saw the https implementation. Just didnt notice the port it was using Have changed the https port now and it is ok. Thanks for your help!
  15. After update to 6.4 my Nextcloud docker will not start up. Got an error saying server error:( Any ideas?
  16. I understand. I have now followed the first procedure with rebuilding from the parity for the disk that were left, but now I can not access the server.... WIll try again later to see what caused this. I would expect the server to run even though I would do something wrong..... EDIT: No worries. It was the post that stopped the startup. Running fine now.
  17. I saw this method but got the impression that it was not suited for me as I did not see the point of rebuilding the parity as all data is already stored on the only one drive. Not sure why i discarded it so fast. Will try this and see if it works out. Thanks
  18. Ok, so since the procedure is to advanced I wil never be able to remove the drive? Cant i just stop the array remove it and start the aray again? Why all the hazzle?
  19. Hi I want to remove a drive but are having some isuses here. I follow this procedure ( https://wiki.lime-technology.com/Shrink_array ): But have some issues along the way. Can someone help me with point nr 15? Procedure Make sure that the drive you are removing has been removed from any inclusions or exclusions for all shares, including in the global share settings. Make sure the array is started, with the drive assigned and mounted. Make sure you have a copy of your array assignments, especially the parity drive. You may need this list if the "Retain current configuration" option doesn't work correctly. It is highly recommended to turn on reconstruct write, as the write method (sometimes called 'Turbo write'). With it on, the script can run 2 to 3 times as fast, saving hours! In Settings -> Disk Settings, change Tunable (md_write_method) to reconstruct write. Make sure ALL data has been copied off the drive; drive MUST be completely empty for the clearing script to work. Double check that there are no files or folders left on the drive. Note: one quick way to clean a drive is reformat it! (once you're sure nothing of importance is left of course!) Create a single folder on the drive with the name clear-me - exactly 7 lowercase letters and one hyphen Run the clear an array drive script from the User Scripts plugin (or run it standalone, at a command prompt). Have not cleared the drive as I dont care about the data on it + the procedure to do it seemed way to advanced for me! If you prepared the drive correctly, it will completely and safely zero out the drive. If you didn't prepare the drive correctly, the script will refuse to run, in order to avoid any chance of data loss. If the script refuses to run, indicating it did not find a marked and empty drive, then very likely there are still files on your drive. Check for hidden files. ALL files must be removed! Clearing takes a loooong time! Progress info will be displayed, in 6.2 or later. Prior to 6.2, nothing will show until it finishes. If running in User Scripts, the browser tab will hang for the entire clearing process. While the script is running, the Main screen may show invalid numbers for the drive, ignore them. Important! Do not try to access the drive, at all! When the clearing is complete, stop the array Go to Tools then New Config Click on the Retain current configuration box (says None at first), click on the box for All, then click on close Click on the box for Yes I want to do this, then click Apply then Done Return to the Main page, and check all assignments. If any are missing, correct them. Unassign the drive(s) you are removing. Double check all of the assignments, especially the parity drive(s)! Click the check box for Parity is already valid, make sure it is checked! Where the heck is this check box?? Start the array! Click the Start button then the Proceed button (on the warning popup that will pop up) Parity should still be valid, however it's highly recommended to do a Parity Check
  20. Ok, so I need to shut down and check the sn on each drive. Well. doesnt sound to difficult and I'll use a label in the future:)
  21. Hi there. Rather stupid question actually. I have today 1 2TB drive as parity, and 3 2TB drives as disk 1, 2 and 3. I have now bought two new drives where i want one to be the parity and one to be the data disk (intend to buy more disks as i get more money;)) But one thing I didnt thought of. How do I know which one is which disks?
  22. Hi. When I try to upload files in documents i get a message that says "forbidden" Any clues? I try to serch for help but could not find anything relevant. I changed the permissions on my user folder to 777, but no change. Problem was fixed when i changed the entire datafolder to 777. Edit2 ; Problem was only fixed for one user. Deleted the other user.
  23. @CHBMB At last I got it to work. Started totally on scratch after removing both MariaDB and NC. Went through everything and when I pressed the WebUI on NC Docker windows the page was loading without anything happening. I then thought I should try Chrome instead. Sure enough. After1 min everything was up and running!:) I have no other solution than it was the new Firefox that tried to prevent something. ANyway. In my eager to get it working I set the wrong data folder in NC. I have tried to change it back to where it should be but it doesn't like that. It wont accept when i change the Data folder. Any ideas?
  24. Thats ok. Maybe this stuff aint for me anyway.....:/
  25. @CHBMB Just reinstalled again:) Well....I think everything is ok regarding the configuration of mariadb. Not 100% certain as there was some issues during the process. I also got acess to Nextcloud webui, but after I have entered all details and pushed "finish" it sort of just reset the window like nothing had changed Nytt tekstdokument.txt
